Here in Oregon they skip all that.
The APS and insurance company all work together create false allegations. Invalidate the Durable PoA then have a guardianship hearing without notifying you. Skipping human and constitutional rights altogether.
Meanwhile you can not get any help at all from a lawyer especially for contested guardianship.
Folks in Oregon need to speak up and contact senators and state representatives for reform.

Need to find a form of guardianship that prevents investment-decisions(larger amounts of money) without taking over finances with POA due to conmen and scammers and investment-bankers and insurance-linked-sales and ... ... social with neighbourly "investment guru"
