Robin Christopher is so great! She plays Skye with the perfect blend of vulnerable neurosis, misunderstood motivations and odd bursts of strength. Skye is such an interesting character. Her evolution over the years is exciting as she grows from petulant child to a mature, independent grownup. And she always wears her heart on her sleeve which I think is brave, Of course she cannot do anything other than let her emotions runneth over.
Robin Christopher ROCKED in these scenes. How long has she been playing Skye Chandler? It was also great to see powerhouses Linda Dano and David Canary working together.
Robin Christopher began playing Skye on AMC in 1987 (Skye was 1st played by Antoinette Byron from 1986-1987). RC played Skye on AMC until 1991. (Carrie Genzel played Skye on AMC from 1996-1997) In 1999 RC brought Skye to OLTL (1 epp on AMC in 2000). RC was on OLTL until 2001 then moved to GH in 2001. So, all together RC has played Skye about 12 years, I guess. But the character has been on screen for about 14 years or so years.
So it's been close or over a year since Robin C left General Hospital...and she hasn't shown up anywhere on the silver screen! How could GH let a talent like this get away and why haven't any other soaps snatched her up? One look at this video and they would see what a powerhouse actress she is!
I feel so bad for Skye. She had no friends here and felt so betrayed and alone. Hayley and her didn’t get along that’s true but I thought Junior loved her and adored her.
Junior was crazy about his big sister, Skye and Stuart loved her too. She did stay in touch with Stuart from an episode on GH she mentioned that she did visit Stuart's art studio in Pine Valley. She still referred to him as Uncle Stuart, so she was still in contact with the Chandlers.

AMC could really use a talent like Robin Christopher, that's for sure! I completely agree that her talent was being completely wasted on "General Mob Wars". Pine Valley brought back the Hubbards - why not bump up the Chandler clan? Can't someone replace Kelly at Regis's side while we're at it??? COME HOME SKYE AND HAYLEY!

The wrong names were on that stupid Bible page Rae had anyway. If it was that official wouldn't the names on the Bible page be Gretal-Rae Fargate and Antoinette Patterson-Chandler since those were both their legal/ birth names ? It made no sense at all. Though I liked Rae as her mother I could never believe that she wasn't Adams child.
@jrchandlerfan 2.0 sadly not all parents are perfect they are human beings who make mistakes and poor decisions just like the rest of us. Adam Chandler missed out on raising his daughter Hayley Vaughan and didn’t get to know her until she was grown that was his punishment for his bad deed.

The whole Bible page part of the SL always bugged me...

And when it was revealed on gh that she wasn't Alan's daughter, I thought maybe, but they just wasted RC, and then she left...

I always thought the bible page said Skye Chandler but maybe that was just b/c of how Todd Manning read it. I guess I was wrong or it was a massive boo boo on the part of the writer b/c Skye is no idiot, not to mention she was looking for any excuse for it not to be true and she would have realized ' hey there thats not even really my name'. Oh well the soap world may never know

There were rumors 4 a while that she was to end up being a Cassadine..what w/her relationship w/Luke etc. That might have been interesting but she left..she's back now tho & who knows if her paternity will be brought up.

The biggest mistake was disassociating Skye from the Chandler family.
On a regular basis...Rae traveled to all three soaps plus PC searching for her daughter - but was only a regular on OLTL.

Hayley was said to come back early this year in April but a replacement. I guess they changed their minds.

No, she still was in contact with Stuart, her uncle and the rest of Pine Valley.
At first she did, but eventually she came around and still remained in contact with the family that raised her.

This was my heyday; the late '90s and early '00s. The acting and storylines were, as a whole, so much better than today.
