Thanks! Yea sometimes it’s a struggle cause the format is vertical but the guitar is horizontal, so I kinda have to cram myself in the shot along with the guitar lol If anyone wonders why I look “stiff”, this is why 😂
I’m a beginner guitarist, but long time string player. I think learning songs is the best way to start getting mechanics of the instrument down and the best way for me personally to learn and transition to guitar. So these may actually be really helpful!
You should make a short series dedicated to bands from a certain state or region of the world. For example, making a video based around riffs from bands and artists from Florida would be interesting. I'll get you started, my personal favorites would be (regardless of how complex the riffs are) "My Friends Over You" by New Found Glory, "Sound Of Madness" by Shinedown, "The Downfall of Us All" by A Day To Remember, "Hands Down" by Dashboard Confessional, "Real World" by Matchbox Twenty, and, of course, "Sweet Home Alabama" by Lynrd Skyrnd. Or Illinois, where I feel it's necessary to differentiate Chicago from the rest of the state, I would pick "Cherub Rock" by Smashing Pumpkins, "Paper Wings" by Rise Against, "Dead On Arrival" by Fall Out Boy, "September" by Earth Wind & Fire, "The Night" by Disturbed, "Volcano Girls" by Veruca Salt, the possibilities are endless! It'd be a challenge to a state like North Dakota or Indiana, my home state, which is difficult because there are a lot of famous musicians who were born In Indiana come like Michael Jackson and Axl Rose, but it's arguable whether they got known as a musician in Indiana or not. Michael Jackson I would believe because he definitely started receiving airplay on radios in Indiana before he became big, but Axl Rose is pushing it, he was born and raised here but Guns n' Roses definitely became big in LA.
The transition between seven nation army and thunderstruck scared the shit out of me
I blame Jack White
Same
imagine wearing headphones and turning up the volume
You mean contrast
@@qiamdof😢😅
My own summer is such a fun riff to play
Learn Killing is My Business
Is it bad that I’ve always played it downstrokes only?
@@Daniel-lh8dp I do the same thing
@@Pallsmenis I end up getting into it too much and accidentally shifting the 5th fret note flat 😭
Bro fr
Its so simple but theres just something about the satisfaction riff
Yeah i keep playing it again and again, but it feels like i can't get no satisfaction by it
My Own Summer is one of the best feeling riffs to play
This guy always has the best tone ever
i hung out with dick Dale back in 2000. Such a great guy and a awesome concert.

This guy made learning guitar fun again for me
Thank you for playing Thunderstruck the correct way with alternate picking!
Angus Young does it both ways
@@neurotica5461Yeah, but in the music video, as well as the master recording, he uses alternate picking. Don’t fool yourself.
@@fragileguyguy7226 Still he does it without alternate picking sometimes so both ways are "correct" imo
it's your own cover so any way is the right way!
I thought the correct way was no picking, just hammer-ons and pull-offs.
awesome that you included deftones. one of my favorite riffs to play.
My own summer is one of my favorite riffs to play
man that deftones riff is fukin raw i love it
I’ve been learning from watching you play keep doing this gang this is literally the perfect camera angle to study guitarist imo lol 🔥🙌💯

Seven Nation Army is now my first riff I had played! thanks dude!!
Your videos are pure entertainment
Surf rock is such a cool style, it's a shame it's not as famous
these are some damn amazing picks.
My Own Summer!! 🙌
The drop is such an good pedal
that surf tone is spot on
Finally, all the notes in the intro to thunderstruck is picked, not hammered on and pulled off👌👌👌

Cool man! Awesome guitar skills
YOU SIR ARE A MAESTRO AXE MAN.

SUWEEET!
As soon as i saw the title i knew misirlou and thunderstruck were headed my way
Great video. You look like Michael Karoli, guitarist for Can.
Thank you for posting this. Now I know that Deftones riff was a one stringer.
I was waiting for the 0-3-5
this guy really love Jaguar
Perfect
Let the Thunderstruck tap vs pick thunder dome battle to the death begin!!
You played thunderstruck perfectly, tricky one
i was playing my own summer in C drop still sounds cool
my fave is my own summer
WHERE IS SMOKE ON THE WATER!!!
You can't judge a player how he made a belt, THE SIZE DOESN't MATTER
I had no idea that the black eyed peas didnt make that riff
First one brings me back to rayman rabbids
THE SEVEN NATION ARMY MADE MY TOES CURL

Are you using pedals for sound or computer plugins?
if you wanna do 7NA in a deeper tone then
E--12--12-15-12-10--8---7 works too
you are always nailing guitar stuff! i love this
The hardest one string riff is thunderstruck and I never thought about it as a one string riff
The focus tho
Airbag by radiohead
Wow man I hope to one day achieve something like this. You are awesome man keep it up!
One string bro it’s easy
@@MGUITARQC Bruh I mean achieving something such as having a channel like this. And I doubt you can play Smoke on the water.

Walk by pantera
Conspicuous lack of Meshuggah on this one!! 🧐 I love your videos tho fr lol
Seven nation army was actually the first thing i ever learned on guitar 😄

It would be great if you made a video of 5 guitar riffs from surf music 🤙🏼
That last song I thought you were about to play the riff from I feel like a woman by shania twain!
Burzum - war
Misirlou❤ ty
Pantera - Walk
Can you play "debil mental" by Mamonas Assasinas? It's a music made for a brazilian band and is perfect
Por favor
it's "débil metal" (pls play it)
Deftones🤘🏻🤘🏻❤️
The white stripes are the greatest band ever. I hope someday I can write a one string song
Bisexual by GRLwood is a less well known, very fun to play one string song
Believe it or not misurlou was the second song I learned on guitar next to “about a girl”
you remind me a lot of a young Varg... just make sure you don't end up like him!
The only songs I can play
Nice (seafoam/surf?) green Jaguar.
Почтим память людей, которые ради риффа "my own summer" перестраивали все струны в drop c#
1, 2, 3 are standard tuning, then 4 has a drop C# jumpscare, then back to standard.
Don’t forget “Another one bites the dust”.
I have a guitar and I may try teh seven nation army one!

Sepultura when 👀
School by nirvana 🤘🏻
Am I Evil?
Are you using a fender Jaguar? ❤
thunderstruck is so fricking hard. I cannot move my fret hand fast enough.
School by nirvana is a good one
I’d like to submit the saw is the law as a banger one string riff
Tried doing Thunderstruck… ended up hurting my fingers 🫠
