The original vocals are better, more subdued and therefore more apt for the sentiment of the emotion being projected, it also has that 10cc vocal effect which was no doubt courtesy of Graham Gouldman, but this ain't a bad version at all, pretty similar to when I saw them perform it at KOKO in Camden in 2017.
