Atago is like the mom who loves animals, while Takao is like the dad that who doesn't want a pet, but then immediately becomes attached to them a day after the adoption.
Having in mind that Atago is a yandere and the fact that godzilla doesn't have a history of treating Japan well, I was really expecting that she will snap the lizard neck as soon as he allowed himself to be petted

Atago isn't a Yandere though, she wouldn't murder someone for getting to close to her loved ones. She just REALLY loves the Commander and is just really desperate for him. But once you marry her, she calms down a bit knowing that you're her's now.

Tbf, Minus One's face does somehow have the puffiest cheeks so I don't blame Atago. Also it would've been golden if Takao reacted to the ship getting the underside atomic breath when she and Godzilla were in the theater.

The only thing is if they scaled it Nagato should be slightly tall than Takao.

@@frednone tbh, Nagato design is based on the fund project of her construction. They are doing a Pre school donation on building Nagato Class. Because at the time Emperor focus on the Imperial Army than the Navy. So the IJN have to pull their own money on ship construction. In which, Nagato Class are pretty much ordered during Navy getting broke. That’s why Nagato and Mutsu are Lolis in Azur Lane. In Kantai Collection also tribute this by making Nagato be a Lolicon.

Love how Godzilla is just acting like a puppy
What we tend to forget is that Godzilla is the byproduct of our outrage against both Humanity and Earth. A harsh reminder of allowing our own anger, ignorance, and greed to get the best of us. Now, while true Godzilla has turned cities into a sea of fire, he's also an apex predator trying to fix the messes we made. Which is why Takao and Atago try to help him see the good more than bad, in order to become Earth's greatest defender.
In the end, leadership is the very heart of every series of events that we have allowed to occur. And the fact that these two beauties are able to help a beast like Godzilla value life other than death, why can't we choose just to do what's right even if it's not easy?
