Just to clarify, Sergio Moro was never a Supreme Court judge. He was the judge of the “car wash” case. Just a detail, as a lawyer I know the difficult of translating some terms to another legal system. Great video overall

As a Brazilian I'm quite impressed on how well this video resumes this decade of what could be best described as "What If a 4chan board manages to rule a country".

I really hope that your correspondents told you about the “fura barreira” movement (roughy translated as “break the roadblock”) where supporters of the football club Athletico Mineiro beat the road blockers because they wanted to watch theirs team’s game

Props to you for going through all the hurdles of understanding the significance of an event like this when it’s entirely in a different language. I can’t imagine trying to get a grasp on a culture this dense with a language barrier like this. Kudos.

I've never seen a video about Brasil in which a foreigner genuinely tries to understand our culture! I loved seeing all the references and memes shown here, unlike all the cut-and-dry videos talking about this event, that don't tackle its whole stupidity and how we were laughing at it. It shows that he really cared about understanding us. Just earned a new subscriber!

Your description of the whatsapp groups and "whatsapp uncles" is both a hilarious and terrifying mirror of everything facebook has devolved into

Honestly the craziest thing was everything involving Florida because I didn't know of Bolsonaro until the failed coup happened and subsequent American news reported that he was basically taking refuge in FL and "coincidentally" got admitted into a hospital for some "unrelated" treatments.

Never thought you'd cover our batshit political history. Very well done! Love your content, and greetings from Brasil!

I know this sounds bad, but I feel relieved to know that Indonesia is not the only place where this manner of media madness is happening. Thank you for telling us this story. The world may not be a better place now, but I hope this can be a cautionary tale for future generations.

A breath of fresh air seeing someone from outside of Brazil trying to cover brazilian stories through minute details and correlations, that doesn't happen often, at all, good one.

As a Brazilian I wanna say that, with the exception of little details here and there, this is a very accurate narrative of literally everything, congratulations on your great work!

Your research work is immaculate. As a Brazillian, i am seriously impressed at how correctly translated, and logically cohesive everything was done. Masterfully done sir. Abraços do Brasil <3

One very important detail is that those people who were stopping traffic would attack students and not care about the life of the people who needed to travel, there was one child that almost went blind, because the kid needed to travel to do an eye surgery and the family of the child were stopped by people that preferred the child getting blind instead of letting them travel and doing the eye surgery

As a brazilian, I'm kinda impressed of how accuratetely you got the details, props to you. Obviously, you didn't get everything 100% right but some details are kinda complex to put out in a video about a 4-10 year long political situation of a country as bizarre as Brazil.

I live just two blocks away from that place where they were calling UFOs. You can't imagine how much of a nightmare was dealing with these people screaming all the time for two months straight.
