The tune of Ghana's anthem on independence day in 1957 was the same as it is now, however, the lyrics were not God bless our homeland Ghana. The lyrics use to be the following:
      1. Lift high the flag of Ghana,
The gay star shining in the sky,
Bright with the souls of our fathers,
Beneath whose shade we'll live and die!
Red for the blood of the heroes in the fight,
Green for the precious farms of our birth-
      right,
And linked with these the shining golden band
That marks the richness of our Fatherland.
      2. We'll live and die for Ghana,
Our land of hope for ages to come!
      Shout it aloud, 0 Ghana,
And beat it upon the drum!
Come from the palm-lined shore, from the broad
      northern plain,
From the farm and the forest, the mountain and
      mine.
Your children sing with ancient minstrel lore:
      Freedom for ever, for evermore!

Kwame Nkrumah is one of the greatest Pan-African leaders of them all. Nkrumah inspired our youths and elders too. Nkrumah has wisdom, strength and love for Africans not just in Ghana, but Africa as a whole. Nkrumah didn’t only unify Africans at home and abroad but to help Africans that were deprived and that’s where his socialist policies was so effective.

Why? Because they got their "freedoms" from the white man? And what happened after that? They lost more freedoms under their people's rules. The freedom to have a stable and functioning government, to escape poverty, to put an end to corruption. I bet most of their skilled, educated, and talented have fled the country, a lot of them to their former colonial master's lands.
And this is what it's like throughout most of Africa because of nationalism and just emotions.
The problem with young people, like you, are that you are too emotional.

Banda Devassa - Rio de Janeiro. (Cultura, Esporte e Lazer).
A capital e maior cidade do Gana é "Acra".
A palavra "Gana" significa (guerreiro) e é derivada do nome do antigo "Império do Gana".
    >>> "Os colonialistas viram-se obrigados a ceder" !@!!
    HOMENAGEM: Banda Devassa-Rio - 06/03/2019).

+Ama Danquah yeah, Ghana was the first African state to become independent that was entirely run by the African natives. There were other independent states at the time but they were under European control. So when they say Black Africa, they are referring to the regions other than the ones run by Europeans.
