Ok, I'm here from your other video where I downloaded your pack. So, the "console" list shows up on my PSP, but only the Capcom and Sega ones seem to actually have games on them. NES, SNES, and an Atari one my wife added... I get nothing. Looked in the file on my PC like you show here, and under Snes9x it shows a bunch of games. ...Do I need to re-do it or something? And what is the regular NES file even called? Most of this stuff looks like random letters and numbers that are meaningless to me???
...BTW, I am not computer savvy at all, if you can't tell. Had to have my wife do all of this after I found your vids. lol So the more you dumb down your response the better. Thanks in advance man, you've been great so far, will definitely sub if this works out.
All games, regardless of which emulator, are in the "Roms" folder within each emulator folder. When using each emulator for the first time, the "Roms" folder will have to be located using the directional buttons and either the X or O button as shown in the video. I'm not sure how else to explain it as it is shown quite clearly. All the games are there. It's just a matter of locating them. Good luck.
@@NuyoBoy87 Thanks man, I'll take a look again when I get home from work later, but.... I'm pretty sure I looked under "roms" and there was nothing there. I'll check again though.
Ok, so I went through everything on the PSP and through trial and error I eventually found the roms on the NES and most others, (yay!) But the *SNES* is still messed up. When I go into SNES it does not boot up like yours does. I went into every thing there is under the SNES but *"Snes9x___"* is not listed. All the other emulator systems are there under the SNES thing, but not Snes9/whatever. It shows on our PC just fine, and looks to be full of games on the PC. So the wife tried removing and reinstalling it but.... nothing. It just doesn't show up under SNES on the PSP. It *does* show up under some of the *other* PSP emulator systems for some reason, but not the one it's supposed to. I can go under SNES, PSP/, GAME/, then select something like: "PicoDrive/" ROMS/, Genesis/, and a bunch of games show up, but it just glitches out. I assume because they are not SNES games. ? Any thoughts?

Can someone tell me what the heck (BR) stands for when it comes to PSP ISO abbreviations/suffix? I'm seeing it in the file names for various PSP ISO's & have tried Googling but can't find anything on it. Anyone happen to know?
@NuyoBoy87 when you are extracting an PSP ISO game & when its done extracting, it Dosen't say, .iso next to the name of the game but the type of file was an ISO file, will that still work
The PSP literally is a portable PlayStation hence it's name. No emulator needed however, it does need custom firmware to run unofficial(created via PSX2PSP) PlayStation titles. Those will be in the eboot.pbp format. Now, the only ISOs the PSP can read without emulation are rips of official PSP titles. I have videos on the channel showing how to install custom firmware, make custom PS1 eboots also, how to convert actual PSP UMD discs into ISOs.
NuyoBoy87 NuyoBoy87 oh I thought psx2psp was an emulator. I didn’t realise it just converts isos into a bootable format. Your video is the most helpful/interesting of all that I watched. Thanks for taking the time to make it. Do you have a video describing the best and latest CFW for the psp?
I have backed up my UMD videos as ISOs on my computer but i cannot them to show on my psp. Can you tell me what im doing wrong, (i did everything exactly the same as i did with games and the games work.
@@NuyoBoy87 I put all the ISOs in the ISO folder but only the ones that are games show up. The ISOs that are movies or videos do not show up on my psp. Do these belong in a separate folder?
This has happened to a couple of people.. some games just don't like to cooperate. But in any case, try playing around with the compression settings in PSX2PSP and see if that works.
Once the Memory Stick is formatted, everything is wiped out and lost for good. Since yours was corrupted, there was no saving it either way so, it's time to start from scratch.
There is no PS1 emulator for PSP as the PSP IS the PS1 emulator. You can however, download the already made PS1 eboots from various websites. A simple Google search should do the trick.
NuyoBoy87 okay so I believe I have the ISO in the right file but how do I get a iso file when ever I download the games they say 7Z how do I convert that to an iso, I’m about halfway through the video and I believe that’s my problem
@@NuyoBoy87 pretty much for my psp it's Psp>game then I dropped the rom in there. Iso isn't there for me All that's there is Lost.dir MP_Root Music Picture PSP System volume information and video I'm sure I did something wrong
Ok so, what you wanna do is make a folder labeled "ISO" at the base of the Memory Stick (outside of the PSP folder). That's where you'll place it. After that, it should work.
@@NuyoBoy87 I couldn’t figure it out so i was just moving the folder around for like an hour cuz I had like 5 iso on it lol. If I downloaded some “compressed” files so cso files would I put them in the same file as the ISOs? Just the GTA iso file was almost 2 gigs
@hellaflushhonda CSOs are compressed ISOs. You may experience a drop in performance and I've played some CSOs that have had the music completely gone. So, I try to avoid using CSOs unless there was absolutely no other option besides a physical copy.
So i can get Eboots on my PSP with little to know issue. But almost every ISO file i have tried is shown as a corrupted file. And this is after several redownload/retries/etc. To be clear. I did try and copy the ISO from one of my UMD games, with my CFW, and then put it on the same PSP, and the file was shown to be corrupted. I followed a tutorial for this to make sure i did it right. I posted this on reddit, with mixed results. Several told me the ISO files are probably bad, others told me my CFW (6.61 Pro-C infinity. Not the recent update, the original.) was probably faulty and that i should change it to another one. I have since decided that Reddit not might be the best place to seek an answer without getting several different ones, of varying usefulness. I'm open to ideas on how to fix this for any that are willing to help. As a side note, if i do need to update my CFW to infinity 2, can someone point me in a direction on how to do that. All the videos i have found are starting out on OFM. And i've had very little luck on finding a video that explains how to put it back on OFW.
ISOs do NOT go in the Game folder rather, the ISO folder at the base of the Memory Stick outside of the PSP folder. If there isn't one, make one and you should be good to go.
@@NuyoBoy87 If i did format it, would that require me to not copy/paste my previous files back onto it? Because i have tons of Eboots, emulators, etc. So assuming i do format it, would all that need to go as well?
0:50 ISO VS EBOOT (what they are, differences between them)

Like if I sent a list of the games I would enjoy.
And how much do you think this would cost to have someone do this for me?
PS
One game I would love to play on my psp would be mark of kri one and two.
Just a thought. I don't even know if any of this could be done.
Thanks.
Just ordered my radiant red Psp 3000 and a 32 gig memory card
Since my psp is a Japan import I can still jailbreak it right?
Yessir!
NuyoBoy87 thank ya
I don't have a PC so can you make to be WWF SmackDown 2 on PSP?
When i play the game. My psp just blank screen how to solve? Thanks
Ok let me know how it goes.
Any thoughts?
thanks, helped me out
What website do you trust the most sir?
I'd have to say cdromance and rom hustler are my go-to sites.
NuyoBoy87 awesome man. Thanks playing BATTLEFRONT 2. 🙏🏽💫🖤
Enjoy! 😎👍🏻
Cdromance sucks, literally taking 15 min to DL one measly 300mb file, reminds me of dial up. 😎
Are you doing this on a normal psp 3000 or on a hacked modded psp 3000 ?
It has to be modded that's the only way you can play Roms(ISO)
@@connorstiles1001 Thanks Connor ! just bought my self a modded psp from trade me, works well ! can now play all my favourite old skool playstation 1 games from the 90's :)
When i tried to open " update " file, the psp just turned off without doing anything... can i get help?
hey sir can help me? i try to play RE3 all works fine but not appears in menu i mean black screen * sorry bad english *
Hey man great vid! But i need some help. So i downloaded spyro two riptos rage eboot and followed instructions but when i went to go and test the game out a message came up and said "copyright info is invalid" and wont let me play it :( its driving me crazy! Has this happened to you with eboots? What do i do sir :(
That eboot may have not been made properly. You can follow my tutorial on how to make your own PS1 eboots (link in description) or you can go on cdromance.com and download the official PSN version. Hope that helps.
i have a question,do u need 6.61 ?and does it work with ultraISo files? and where do i get eboot.pbp file?my jjba rom doesnt have it
PSP needs to be on a custom firmware (doesn't necessarily need to be 6.61). I'm not sure about UltraISO. I never bothered with it. You can download the JJBA PS1 eboot from cdromance.com. Or, you can download the PS1 iso and follow my tutorial (link in description) on how to make your own PS1 eboot.
@@NuyoBoy87 ,

@@NuyoBoy87 ,
i came back to sub but,do you know how to fix the ''corupted dat'' error?
?
What is showing up corrupted?
on games, when i enter the memory stick,it shows me a file called''corupted data'' if i try to launch it it says''the data is corupted.the game cannot be launched''....to get rid of this and play the game i should update it,no?
I just bought a game for my psp running 6.61 firm ware and the game is in Japanese the audio cd and the umd,I do not speak or read Japanese and I need help with getting this game in English subtitles and transfer to my psp player ,I would appreciate any help!
Can someone tell me what the heck (BR) stands for when it comes to PSP ISO abbreviations/suffix? I'm seeing it in the file names for various PSP ISO's & have tried Googling but can't find anything on it. Anyone happen to know?
@NuyoBoy87 when you are extracting an PSP ISO game & when its done extracting, it Dosen't say, .iso next to the name of the game but the type of file was an ISO file, will that still work
You probably don't have the extensions visible on your computer but yeah if the file type is ISO, you should be good to go.
@@NuyoBoy87 after 3 days, my PSP ISO files have changed into Disc Image File, can that still work as an ISO game/file
Same thing.
@@NuyoBoy87 does that mean, it will still work
An ISO is a disc image file.. one and the same so yes, it will work.
I thought you needed an emulator to ps1 games. Or is that only to run ISO’s?
6.61 Pro Infinity was the last and final custom firmware:
ua-cam.com/video/LpbWQANaTwI/v-deo.html
but whaat if my psp doesnt read eboot.pbp anymore? it takes space but not showing up the game so i cant play the ps1 games
I have backed up my UMD videos as ISOs on my computer but i cannot them to show on my psp. Can you tell me what im doing wrong, (i did everything exactly the same as i did with games and the games work.
Watch the video again. If you notice, ISOs do NOT go in the Game folder.
@@NuyoBoy87 I put all the ISOs in the ISO folder but only the ones that are games show up. The ISOs that are movies or videos do not show up on my psp. Do these belong in a separate folder?
I see.. So, what you wanna do is make a folder inside the ISO folder and name it VIDEO. That's where iso movies will go.
Where do you find the game files at?
Did you find out where ?
How to repair psp
Brother do you know a way to play resident evil 4 on a psp?
Thank you very helpful
Some of the games crash in gameplay on cfw. I have a psp 1001. Any suggestions?
This has happened to a couple of people.. some games just don't like to cooperate. But in any case, try playing around with the compression settings in PSX2PSP and see if that works.
hi. I just formatted my memory stick because it was corrupted. how do I bring back the files
Once the Memory Stick is formatted, everything is wiped out and lost for good. Since yours was corrupted, there was no saving it either way so, it's time to start from scratch.
Hey bro what website do you get the ISO and Eboot files from
www.romsgames.net/roms/playstation-portable/
Did they answer?
Where do u get the iso files😢
Hey , any idea were i can find psp eboot.PBP games? (the site i am using now is halfdead)
www.romsgames.net/roms/playstation-portable/
@@zachhutchins5431 thx
Can any psp play ps1 games in iso format ? Or do i need custom firmware? Or do i need also to convert them in eboot format?
They would have to be converted to eboot format. I have a video on how to do that on the channel. 👌🏻
@@NuyoBoy87 is there any other easy way to play ps1 games like any emulator that i can just put in psp and play all those ps1 iso?
There is no PS1 emulator for PSP as the PSP IS the PS1 emulator. You can however, download the already made PS1 eboots from various websites. A simple Google search should do the trick.
@@NuyoBoy87 oh thats cool..so do i need cfw for just playing ps1 eboot files?
For custom eboot files, yes. Official PSN files dont need CFW.
I made an iso file but when I transfer the game over there’s nothing on my psp but it sais a gigabits is missing what am I doing wrong?
What folder did you put the ISO in?
NuyoBoy87 I don’t know where do I need to put it?
Watch the video again and pay close attention. I show exactly where to put it.
NuyoBoy87 okay must of not been paying attention thanks for the fast replies
NuyoBoy87 okay so I believe I have the ISO in the right file but how do I get a iso file when ever I download the games they say 7Z how do I convert that to an iso, I’m about halfway through the video and I believe that’s my problem
Thanks so much!
i put the game in the iso game in the iso file and i cannot find it in the game
I'm sort of stuck, I'm directly downloading an iso for persona 3 portable, but it appears corrupt.
Where on the PSP did you place the file?
@@NuyoBoy87 pretty much for my psp it's Psp>game then I dropped the rom in there. Iso isn't there for me
All that's there is
Lost.dir
MP_Root
Music
Picture
PSP
System volume information
and video
I'm sure I did something wrong
Ok so, what you wanna do is make a folder labeled "ISO" at the base of the Memory Stick (outside of the PSP folder). That's where you'll place it. After that, it should work.
@@NuyoBoy87 tyyyyyyy!!!! It turns out it worked.
Do you need to hack your psp to play iso games?
Yup. Check out the video on the channel showing how to mod the PSP.
hi where did.u get super.mario
Can this game work for emulator ppsspp android??..
I think the ppsspp emulator uses a different file type. I'm not sure.
i prefer cso even though some games has issues in this format. Dantes inferno has audio issues in cso format.
i downloaded midnight club on pc how do i add
My ISO files just say corrupted file when transferred over and I try to play them on the psp
Make an ISO folder at the root of the memory stick. Put your ISO files there. They should work afterwards.
@@hellaflushhonda yes. CSOs go in the same ISO folder. Eboots go in the Game folder.
@@NuyoBoy87 do CSO play the same or is there no draw backs to “compressing the file”
@@NuyoBoy87 thats where i put them. Still shown as corrupted files. My bad for not clarifying.
Hmmm.. odd.. have you tried formatting the Memory Stick? Sometimes that works.
@@NuyoBoy87 If i did format it, would that require me to not copy/paste my previous files back onto it? Because i have tons of Eboots, emulators, etc. So assuming i do format it, would all that need to go as well?
You're definitely gonna wanna back everything up on your PC beforehand so you can drag it back in after the format.
Sorry for the late reply.
Thank you I finally know how to download Clannad for the psp lol
PSP folder of game and psp must be opened to have te possibility to choose one PSP game eebot folder and put it there so it works? wow
