Hey Matthew, good luck. You know, on this end it’s like your sound is coming from the bell about where your tuning slide is. I’d like to hear you visualize the sound from out in front of the bell, and maybe half way across the room, or hitting the far wall! I’m not specifically talking volume, just a fullness of sound. So full that the judges can’t do anything else but listen to you. You capture them in the first six notes and you’ve got them! I do realize you’re being respectful of others in the room, but this was 0:57 sec for you. Ok, cut it to 0:50 seconds of yourself, they’ll understand! 🤠❤️🎺

Thank you for this advice! I’ll probably do the other recordings in a practice room next time. That day they were all taken by the time I got there.
