I used to know Lee well... He is such a good guy. We stalled out next to each other at Bermondsey Friday antiques market for a few years around 97. He is such a funny guy. And really kind. He was really good to me when my marriage broke up in 2005, and let me stay in his apartment in Spain. If you ever see him again...ask him to tell you the story about Joan Armatradings uterus 😅
Brutal Attack did start off as a straightforward Punk band. Their lead guitarist, David Lloyd ended up in the UK Subs in 1983, as Captain Scarlet, and played on their Flood Of Lies album.
Punk was never 'anarchy'... that was the English media. Punk was/is about bringing back the rockNroll of the early-mid 60s w/ a more strip-down high energy presentation.
