Unbelievable but I couldn't find any normal translation for the full version of this song on UA-cam! So I decided to change that and make a video myself!
Was pretty confused at the end since I double-checked every possible source because of the weird translation "It's only your thing" to "It's only my thing". But since it's also written like that on the official ToAruMajutsuNoIndexWikia, I just took it like that. Hope you like it!
Gotta love demn lyrics! They are pretty hope giving in my opinion. And the osu!-map of it is kinda neat, too ;D

@@kumi6897 yes, it's just way more popular due to a certain osu! accident. Outside of the game however, most anime fans won't be too familiar with it, most likely because it's not the first OP and the anime didn't age too well I guess. And if they know it, unless they play osu! as well, they probably only know the anime version (which isn't too catchy IMO, so I can see it not being popular compared to this one)
@@FR-pz6gs considering the timespans possible on youtube, yes, it is. This video was uploaded more than 4 years ago. Saying "it was uploaded shortly after / a short while ago" would be equally wrong.
A while is relative and not specified or indicated towards any length, and since the time between this upload and the referenced upload is shorther than the time between this upload and the original beatmap whose background image I borrowed, this was the best wording I came up with.

2:45 i think it translates to "im supposed to" not must
the "hazu" is still a weird case for me personally, I seem to never quite understand its excact meaning. However, I did not translate this myself, these are just the official translations from the toaru wiki (as I mentioned in the video and description). May still be an error, but at the same time, being supposed to or having to can be quite similar depending on the case. Anyhow, I didn't question the wordings. At the end there's even a line where the background singers clearly say something else in english than what is translated, but I decided to keep it in because I didn't feel qualified to correct it. Maybe I'll revisit the song in a few years when I caught back up to learning japanese again. Thanks for pointing it out though!

This song is much better at 1.5x speed (a.k.a Cookiezi speed).
I don't think so. Maybe it sounds better for people that only listened to it by watching cookiezi replays, but the authenticity and possibility to think about the text really shines through better when in its original speed. In general I like it better that way. But hey, maybe that's just me.
Maybe I just find it easier to read since I can natively read quite fast. And I like the more J-Electronic sound of a 1.5x speed. But I respect your opinion as well.
I think it's because the brain of an osu! player would tend to feel a bit more livelihood in a 135 BPM song rather than the slower 90 BPM song, considering songs like Image -Material- (260 BPM) and Galaxy Collapse (130-520 BPM, or max 1280 BPM if you consider the double subdivisions in the 320 BPM part of the song as 2x BPM) are popular in osu! and so you'd feel this is slow. Not to mention the intro in 90 BPM just doesn't build up as much of a sense of excitement as in 1.5x speed, which while not necessarily bad, considering most rhythm game songs start with some part that builds up excitement the beginning I'd guess that's part of the reason why.

What do you think how I found the song in the first place? I even mentioned Cookiezi in my response. There was no joke at all about him being banned in the comment above, nor the 3mod. This wasn't even a joke comment like most others, but an actual opinion about it sounding better to him in 1,5 (he even replied and gave more of a reason), and you *still* try to /wooosh me? Holy shit, you need to step out of reddit for a day, son!
People usually like what they're used to the best, so when you got to know this song purely as a 1,5 version and listen to that all day, you will naturally prefer that later if you get the direct comparison. And it's basically the same for me as well. Just that I usually start listening to the original versions way more afterwards, and pay attention to the lyrics, and if those are good, I usually start prefering and thus listening to the 1,0 version more. So I understand people liking 1,5 more, but in most cases I think that's because they are biased by knowing about those first through osu!. Outside of osu!, there are very very few people that listen to a 1,5 version and instinctively find it better.

I know this song now for my entire osu life (7 years almost)
I learned about it because of the Cookiezi incident, discovered Index because of the BG but never watched it. Then saw Railgun because of the eternal reality BG with the sisters in it and was intrigued what show this might be. Then after completing the Railgun Anime I was baffled to see that the person on this BG here was also Misaka and decided to watch Index.
I actually also discovered osu! independently from anything anime-related and vice-versa.
I have to agree to the thing about the german fanbase here. Most people I know about, including every widely known german anime youtuber are a giant pack of weebs or toxic. Welp. Maybe one day I'll change things and open my own channel for that purpose, the preperations are planned through, but I want to move out of my parent's home first and watch some more of the "classic cult" shows (like Evangelion, Bakemonogatari & co.)
