- We're back with two highly requested #ONEWE reactions - this time to #EndOfSpring and #Parting. Honestly, if we weren't already in love with them after our last ONEWE reaction (*cough Anna cough*) then we definitely are now after seeing their duality through these two songs!

About the Produce comment, out of ONEWE, Dongmyeong was the only one in produce but Seoho and Keonhee were also in Produce. The whole of ONEWE were in The Unit (where yes they did have to learn how to dance, I still go back and watch when no one wanted to team up with them first because of it, and then everyone’s shocked reactions when they saw their performance!) and Ravn and Seoho were in Mixnine.
Same here, they honestly picked up the choreography faster than some of the idols who'd debuted in dance groups 😆 Shows how much hard work pays off! (and how much of an angel Daewon was for teaching them). Hwanwoong was also in Produce btw
we haven't watched a survival show all the way through since produce s2, but we'll definitely have to go check out some of their clips from the Unit - we are very intrigued!

@@BerryBestReacts They were still called MAS at the time of the show so look for that name.
They all had very little dance training going into the show as most of them only really learnt enough for a short choreo for the audition (even Dongmyeong was injured and eliminated in the 1st round of produce s2 so he didn't learn much there either) but their dedication was impressive and Dongmyeong improved massively throughout the show.
Definitely have a look at the All Day performance with Dongmyeong (also has Hangyul pre-X1/H&D, A.C.E's Chan just after debut and you might recognise others too).
They actually won that round and got to make an proper MV for it (the performance was better than the MV though imo).
Warning you beforehand that Hangyul was only barely 18 at the time since he really doesn't look it, or act like it either! (Dongmyeong was around the same age).

Haha Kanghyun's power in Parting is really something!!! Those visuals, the guitar and performance skill, that's my bias wrecker for you! 🤣 Plus his amazing composition and lyrics to top it off.
It's kinda subtle so I don't know if you noticed this but if you read the Korean translation of the word parting as two words you get another link to Regulus: 이별 (parting) -> 이 (this) and 별 (star). Parting is inspired by a recurring dream Kanghyun's had about an asteroid falling to earth since he was young.
If you're curious and have some time on your own, Kanghyun did a vlive (feat. Yonghoon) on the "making of Parting" where he shows how it developed from the demo version to the final version. There are also some highlights from it on youtube.
There are 3 other alternate performance versions of Parting: Acoustic, 한가위 and Halloween (all with quite different arrangements but equally as beautiful and arguably maybe even better).
There is also another live vocal version on 1theK which I'd recommend checking out in your own time where the live vocals and are isolated to one earbud with the instrumental in the other.
End of Spring was definitely RBW's push into mainstream Kpop and is one of only a couple of songs where the members weren't the primary composers, the bassist Cya did still work on the composition and lyrics too though. They also have a rock version which has a performance video that is a bit more their own style. The rock version is actually more popular among the fandom and is the version they perform in concert. It's one hell of concert opener!
Alexa's company produces most RBW videos so that's why she was there.
Onewe were actually the first band to ever do the Relay Dance with End of Spring, it's a lot of fun :)
Yes Dongmyeong was on Produce 101 and all of them were on the Unit so they can all dance a little, but Dongmyeong is pretty good. Rain told Dongmyeong he had a talent for dancing and he was so proud of him when he made it to the finals in The Unit. He can and does still dance sometimes, usually in concerts.
I see you already still have a few great recommendations on you list which will show some more sides to them 😊
If you feel the need for another emotional song for a rainy day at some point though you could listen to the B-side IF (unfortunately no MV for that one).
Really looking forward to Q (feat. Hwasa) and the Mamamoo covers. For some reason everything Mamamoo-related Onewe does is pure gold.
P.S it's not out yet but Yonghoon has written a new song 기억 속 한 권의 책 as part of his memory series (Reminisce About All and IF) which Kanghyun said made him cry so we've also got that to look forward to in the future too. Hopefully sometime soon since they performed it in concert on the weekend but who knows when they'll actually have a comeback, RBW always makes us wait forever.

onewe’s title tracks tend to be more mellow but they do have some b sides they have music videos for such as ring on my ears and 0&4 which are more on the fun side. (0&4 also has some fun wordplay which not many reactors catch but you guys might be able to pick some of that up)
True, 0&4 would actually be a really interesting one to react too! I also really adore the instrumental in that song, it's so creative and I'd love to hear what you think of it.
0&4 was actually the 1st MV I saw and I immediately stanned 😊

End of Spring definitely sounds something in the vein of timber, however, it's really fun and gets you in the mood to dance.
You guys are also correct that the girls they highlighted will be in a new girl group called Purple K!ss. One of the girls is out for mental/health issues, so thats why, if you check the individual debut and group debut trailers, they haven't debuted yet.
Besides that, I love that Alexa and Oneus we're in the mv, and they looked like they had a great time.
Also, I'll never be over the fact that Onewe is the first boy band to have a relay on mnet, they even dance a bit! (Seeing as there is an actual choreo, shown fully by the purple kiss girls on their channel.) They also are just them being their ridiculous selves as well during the relay. (hint: instruments, also egg)
Also, there's a specific stage that Dongmyeong, the keytarist, loses his shoe, it's pretty funny tbh.
Parting is beautiful. It's wistful, emotional, but haunting as well. It also feels like it took different clothing styles from rock-especially Dongmyeong in his glam rock-like fit. Kanghyun, the guitarist, is fantastic is always. And Yonghoon kills me every time he sings-his voice is so piercingly perfect.
Also, I'd love to recommend Ring On My Ears, their covers-especially Latata, IU medley, and Twit, and also Q ft Hwasa if you haven't watched it already.
A whole lotta words I wrote, but god I love the Onewe boys so much.

Parting is a continuation of Regulos, the Korean name means asteroid. just like Regulos was written by the guitarist, Kanghyun.
The girls in End of spring MV are the RBW grils now Purple Kiss. Their pre debut single will be out soon.
Fun fact parting has 3 more different versions and Im jamming to all of them esp the acoustic one and the halloween version ughhh. Istg the guitar solos on those are different but as good as the original. Highly recommended 👌

I love the fact that end of spring has a relay version
“END OF SPRING” - I cant believe they’re finally here, I cant tell you how long i’ve waited for their comeback on top of that they once again collabed with their younger brothers ONEUS along with Alexa and new girl group 365practice(not debut yet) who showed their support through the MV having a blast. It gives me ring on my ears vibes on the next level bringing upbeat and club style tunes with summertime feels driving through the desert showing up to a party and jamming out making it a RBW Family outing. You can tell they had so much fun filming together expressing that spring season is over and summer time is just around the corner. They deserve so much recognization and OMG during their vlive when they performed the acoustic version; I dare anyone to try to say they lip-sync because I can tell them right now ONEWE vocals are out of this world 100% real. #ONEWE_EndofSpring #ONEUS #BringONEWEtoAmerica
“PARTING” - Omg omg i’m jumping up & down they finally released it, i’m so excited I cant contain myself; their latest single “Parting” which I have been waiting for since their previous album with “End of Spring” that unfortunately I missed out on some of their vlive chats and content because of the time zone difference, I forgot when they said it was coming out plus I couldn’t fully understand them. I miss hearing their voices so much this gives me Regulus vibes. It makes no sense why they’re still so underrated, when America is home base for tons of actual bands #ONEWE_Parting

The End of spring has many versions, and one of my favorite is the rock version. For Parting they also have many versions, and the best for me is the acoustic version and the one from onetheK (Vocals only). Parting definitely make me fell in love harder to them, aside from their cover of Latata and Hip. Kanghyun's guitar solo definitely mesmerizing. Thanks for watching Onewe and please love them more!
