No credit to Simmons and Sweat making Mixon look like 2024 Zeke? Mixon has been cooking and Titans interior absolutely shut him down. And that's not a knock on Joe, I love Mixons game.

Levis might have looked better, earlier, had the whole franchise not changed around him. New coach. New OC. Rookie LT. NEW Center. Patchwork right side, and two new receivers. Tell me what QB wouldn’t struggle…

But right now it appears to be clicking for Will and CJ is hitting that Sophomore wall, this could be a Jags-Titans scenario week 18 winner take all of we hold court these next couple games

Of course, neither of them want to talk about Bobby because there his buddy. Not one time did Bobby put CJ in a good position, not one time had he scheme to help with the crappy O-Line. Dude has a part in it, I’m not saying CJ or the O-Line at fault but neither of them pointed the finger at there friend “Bobby”

At what point are Houston fans gonna start demanding that Stroud take accountability for his below average play?

@@kevinevans8892 This has been talked to death about bud. We all acknowledge he's playing bad football right now, we can all see that. The part we are trying to see is why he has regressed. He has the talent and the IQ, we saw that last year. So it comes down to a lot of external factors such as play calling, OLine play, mentality etc. It's not a 1 size fits all answer either.
My personal conclusion is Bobby is calling plays like he has a competent OLine, Stroud then gets sacked a ton and/or gets put in bad situations 3rd and long a lot. Combining this with the mounting external expectations and weight of an underperforming offense, he feels he needs to play heroball. He is getting away from his usual poise, rushing through his progression, and forcing throws.
I doubt this changes this season, but I think there will be a strong bounce-back next season when he has time to really get back to his fundamentals (assuming major offensive changes are made to protect him).

People been saying Bobby sucks from like week 2. We need to hold cj accountable. He cries after each pick when he needs to just shake it off. Also you should never go out the back of the in zone. You just throw it away.

Even earlier in the year when he was making those horrible decisions, what went unnoticed (deservedly so) was that Levis has actually been really accurate for the most part this year. The positives are kinda there, just too many negatives early on. If he can eliminate enough of the negatives he could have at least a decent career.

I know Bobby is your buddy, but you have to talk about how he’s THE primary reason this offense sucks. You guys were so quick to say how “great” Bobby was last year, but nothing this year…

lol I don’t know what in the world the guy in red is talking about. Brian Callahan nor Amy Adams never made any definitive conclusion about Will Levis. Brian Callahan specifically supported Will as the starter for the full season. Even when he was playing terrible the first few weeks.
What in the world is this dude saying? Coach Callahan said that the evaluation of Levis is ongoing and will happen to the season end.
Mason Rudolph only played because Will has a shoulder injury. Coach was asked about it and he said once Will is healthy he’d be the starter which did happen. There was never a reality where Levis wouldn’t start when healthy.
Callahan never made any determination about the future at quarterback. If he did, then you play Rudolph the rest of the way because locker room morale is being impacted due to the QB hurting the team.
The locker room has always had Levis’ back. Callahan has put faith and patience to practice with his young QB and it’s starting to pay dividends.
You’re speaking a bunch of nonsense.

They built the narrative that Levis was definitely done after this season and forgot that it was based on feels/opinions and not facts. If levis continues his 3 game resurgence there is actually zero chance the Titans draft a new QB because they will be out of range of either Shedeur or Cam Ward... so OBVIOUSLY they will give a young QB another year just to see if they see more growth.

To be fair to these guys, very few of these shows that cover the entire nfl listen in on most team pressers/media. Especially when the Titans were bad to start

He has repeatedly said Will is the guy when healthy and people keep spreading this narrative that the team gave up on him or benched him. It's insane.

You can tell who's played and who hasn't. That comment about the bad read on the p6. It was a one look play. Defense disguised their coverage well, and made a great play. One thing every analyst seems to miss on Levis is this, the dude has NEVER been coached to be developed. He's either been Stopgap. Or simply allowed to play because he's the best option. The dude plays against statistically the worst line in the NFL. 2 & 3 sacks are on him. But y'all have been super weird analyzing with half cocked info on a dude who's basically the same guy who got the job at Kentucky from a coaching perspective.

Bobby Slowik is garbage. Stubborn, bull headed. Bailed out by CJ Stroud last season. This year Texans win games on the back of Mixon and the defense.
He calls the same plays from last year! Fans want him gone. DeMeco will lose his credibility if he hangs on to his buddy.

The clear reason why we’re losing the games we should be winning, especially when the defense has all these turnovers, picks, and sacks. It’s one clear reason. The trash ass offense.
