I'm mexican as well and I'm awfully proud of him. Hope one day I can be just as big as you, Guillermo.

I went to his exhibition here at the AGO in Toronto, it was made up of all the props and other items he collected from the movies. It was so surreal and beautifully terrifying. There was even a rain room with a wax figure of Edgar Allan Poe reading a book. I loved the experience and wish everyone could experience the same

I saw this prior to seeing The Shape of Water and it enhanced my movie-going experience so much. It was interesting to see how each of the four characters who saw the Asset, Elisa, Giles, Strickland, and Dimitri, also saw a bit of themselves reflected in him. Elisa sees an outcast condemned by their shortcomings, Giles sees an old relic (possibly a God) with unappreciated potential, Strickland saw a powerful thing that must be conquered and subdued, and Dimitri saw a beautiful contribution to science that must be protected. Each one had a different experience with the creature because they were all completely different people. Love it.

I absolutely adore this man and his imagination. I'm glad the second video on this series is about him and his monsters.

Great short video, produced as amazingly well as always. However, i'm kinda dissapointed that you didn't include kaiju from his Pacific Rim :(

How Guillermo does that explain their spontaneous appearance from your psyche, or wherever, in your childhood?
