How did he said " you have been flying for many hours " and she surely took not a short time to arrive from the airport to home.
Can you explain that please 🥲.
And also " he has been telling... About a week" isn't that also a finished action in the past 🥲? He told for a one week and it's completed so earlier.

The present perfect continuous describes an action or situation that started in the past (usually in the recent past) and continues in the present. Although, it can also be something that has recently finished. In the native speaking you can use both, Present Perfect and Present perfect progressive, but what is grammatically correct is an action that started in the past and continuous in the present.
