- Okay, since you guys were wanting a Gundam-related video, here's the transformation of the Unicorn Gundam in Diver City. I'm sure it's been uploaded a million times but this is the only Gundam video I have atm. Hope you like! (This statue is SOOOOOOO cool btw. Way better than the previous RX-78!)

The RX-7 is a car. The RX-78 and RX-0 are mechs.
Guys I'm pretty sure he knows the difference between an RX-7 and an RX-78. Obviously the cool kid would be driving a nice car not another mecha.
@@LuMo096 Yeah I know the difference between the two lmao. Ironic since RX-78 is named after the Mazda RX-7, which was the car Ohgawara(Designer of RX-78) drove back then.
That reminds me, I wonder if Strike Gundam (GAT-X105) is named after 3rd generation Mazda RX-7, which was developed under the codename "X105".

And wow i didnt even noticed it gained 20 peoples attention...
But honestly it was just a statue of uni gundam that glows in the evening and they do a few shows with it every now and again. But yeah it was like a year and a half ago i went so i dont remember much but tbh its just a statue. Nothing too suprising exept it glows and its pretty massive

As someone who's built too many models, I'm a little bummed that it's sections are already pre-opened and it doesn't actually 'grow' when it goes into NT-D mode
Yea, but maybe in the future it would be possible, as they are currently making a working and moving RX-78-2.
I caught on that as well. Maybe it causes stabilization problems when the height or limbs are extended. But I'd love to see a more faithful version of the Unicorn's transformation.
structurally kinda impossible given that it extends in height too when it opens up. More moving parts = more chance of failure

They couldn't do that, because there is a law that makes it illegal to build a structure which can change in height. Kind of a weird law if you think about it, why would they have such a specific law

Long time back when I was touring Japan, I didn't know they had these 1:1 model. I was walking near a mall ang a truck stopped, I was looking at this truck early morning with a mobile suit u covered lying at the trailer, surprised and I said to myself " Gundam? They really had these?"

Yeah .....you can't tell me that these gundams aren't fully functional and they are just waiting on the right time to pilots...I calls dibs on unicorn
I know it's probably for structural reasons, but it felt like they could've cheated it at some points without actually having to make the Unicorn's limbs elongate. Like, have panels on the thighs slide down to reveal the glowing parts, for instance.
