    A great in depth review Tomasz, great detail and a very comprehensive assessment.
    I think your voice is far from annoying and I think it’s amazing how you do this channel in a second language. Please ignore the comment that got personal, there was no need at all for it.

      Thanks mate👍 I don't mind, everyone has got a right to their opinion and I respect that. As long it's not abusive and harming to anyone. Putting yourself out there always brings the risks that someone may not like it - it's their problem tho 🤣

    Hi, I have the "Parkside" saw which I bought for £39:00 about a year ago. I also have problems getting the depth of cut right. I suspect that a lot of the budget saws are made and re-badged for sale. I have not got the ability to cut steel (I have an angle grinder and a chop cutter), but if I ever do I will buy the blade and use it that way.

    • @CasualDIY

      Unfortunately they always have to cut corners at certain point of the design to get the price low. So far I like the Evolution tools as they do present good value for money. And maybe that's why with this tool in bit more disappointed as the base model of this saw without the track plate is brilliant. And somehow they didn't manage to improve with this one. Maybe the next model will be better.

    Tomasz - your link is to the basic version - not to the + version. How do you find the depth setting - is the scale very accurate easy to use - some tracksaws have a pre-trim setting to reduce splintering/chipping on worktops - does this? Also are their any indents for 30/45 degrees and can it over saw at -1 or 46/47 degrees like some other models? Really appreciate your reviews.

    • @CasualDIY
      @CasualDIY  4 роки тому +1

      If you are looking for an accurate plunge saw for countertops then this is not it. It's just a normal circular saw with a base that fits a track. And it's a shame really, hope Evolution will make a dedicated plunge saw. The depth stop is readable but hard to set up to super exact number. Basic angles 0-45 and anything inbetween. The tracks are very good tho 👍

    Nice useful unboxing. Might be a good saw and tracks are great but it's a saw that runs on a track not a plunge saw. Even the Aldi and Lidl versions have better dust collection than that one. The plunge part and the dust collection are the main reasons to get a track saw coz you can always run a circular saw against a homemade fence. They have missed the mark on this one.🤔

    • @CasualDIY
      @CasualDIY  5 років тому

      Yes that's what I think. They tried to do two things with one saw and didn't really work. The base model of the circular saw without the track plate is brilliant but clearly not really suitable for the track. They should have made a dedicated plunge saw, as the track is brilliant. Hopefully they can make one in the future.

    Does this saw have a 20mm arbor bore? So none of my Diablo 5/8" bore 7-1/4" or other saw blades will work? Am I stuck only using Evolution saw blades ?

    • @CasualDIY

    I think you are wrong about the stated track compatability with Sheppach as their track size is slightly different. Most of the major manufacturers use this system but Sheppach/Aldi/Lidl is different and not compatible.

    • @CasualDIY
      @CasualDIY  4 роки тому

      Please see the link below to an Amazon listening of this track, in the description it does state Sheppach. I can only go by what the manufacturer states.

    • @CasualDIY

      They are all good, it's basically the normal circural saw they got which in my opinion is very good made with quality parts. But the track saw version is so much worse on the dust, it just sprayes it out from the front of the saw.
