Its ok because I’ve had it since 2020 but I got screen burn and battery degradation got it hard in 2023. Had to charge it at least 3 times a day cause I am a power user. The back glass panel got loose but I always had a case. The one bonus as you mentioned in the video is having the micro sd card slot for all my photos and leave storage for apps
im still using this phone, the design is really nice. i have the s20 exynos dual sim, i broke the screen though, time to move on. im considering a s21 ultra
I'm also using Samsung s20
😄😄😄
Mine broke as well but the issue is that most of the S series phones are downgrades when it comes to upgrading from the S20. The biggest issue is no SD Card slot, on s21, the base model has 8gb ram, s22 and s23 as well, only 8gb ram, and the s20 has better screen resolution than the newer ones as well. I ended up just buying another Refurbished s20 5G. It's still a solid phone, if you don't mind not having the best camera. It's got upgradeable storage and 12GB ram, 1440p 120hz, and all the galaxy features like dex.
I've had my S20 for 3 years. I'm a heavy user.
Nothing is wrong with it, except the battery doesn't last as long. Mostly I'll get a solid 10 to 15 hours on a charge.
The camera is very good. Some of the pics of the moon were surprisingly good.
I love it. I'll keep it till I can't anymore.
What model is yours please?
@mohammedusman812
Hi, my phone is a Samsung Galaxy S20.
It's not made new recently. The deals on it should be good because of that too.
Since I wrote the previous post I have a problem with it.
An update for the message app screwed up my messages. So I'd suggest you don't allow that download. I corrected the problem, but it took hours.
Good luck. 🌞
I finally broke my S9😢 this thing survived
-4 cross country drives(2 in a car with no AC and the southern route... running GPS 14hrs in the desert.
-survived several accidental river drops.
-survived recording wall of death moshpits
-survived recording car drifting where i took a piece of tire and broke my forearm... but the phone was good!
-3 years of merchandising(freezers. Weights on it as i pick stuff up. GPS)
-survived 5 puppies raised!!
But... finally a casual drop while on hold on a call while smoking my dab pen.... like of ALL the things.
Hoping to get nearly 6 years again outta something
S9 was a durable phone!
Samsung sometimes works on miracles
@Thurzin_hz I was about to go fairphone. But the EU battery removal by 2027 ruling made me think all new phones will have removable batteries in 2027, so I really only need a phone to last 3 years? And went with a S24. The thing feel NICE in the hand without a case. Went and got a dbrand grip and leather backing case. Extra nice;)
@@morsumbra9692 good man!
I'm about to go with the normal S20 because I found one in such a low price and in amazing condition with no scratches or broken screens.
Taking the S24 to stay for 3 years is an excellent choice. You have a cell phone with wonderful specs that won't be left behind, guaranteed update in these three years. Etc
@morsumbra9692 This may sound silly, but, I'm sorry for your loss.
I feel the same way about all my old phones.
Actually, I still have them all. LOL...
And, I'm the farthest thing from a hoarder. It's just my phones. 🙃🫠🙃
I just ordered a used one. Considering switching from iPhone. Wanted an android to get a feel for it before I make the switch.
Love mine
I buy it first hand about 800-900Usd and now im still using it good camera and smooth
I love the micro SD card. I think Samsung took it away because they wanted you to get the higher storage models.
I found my s20 the other day tried charging it, battery swelled up causing the screen to lift up…
phones get old, lithium ion cells are gonna become unstable, think ab it like a car battery, if u dont ever start ur car, then the batterys gonna need to be replaced, same thing with ur phone lol
Your fault. You should have changed the battery after 2 years
@@pillepolle3122 yeah I stopped using it, switched to iPhone 🤫

Bros phone has become pregnant with apple 💀
I’m glad that I have stumbled upon your channel. Very good videos. Subbed!
I just ordered an s20 because I'm sick of giant phones. I don't want to have to use a popsocket. I want to be able to reach the entire screen with my thumb. In the future I'll probably get an asus zenphone for the size reason as well.
Bro you could have got the s23 right? It's compact
I just bought an unlocked s20 from Ebay that was kept as a backup phone for $165 USD including shipping, a case and charging cable as I wanted a phone somewhat similar to my very old samsung s6 in terms of weight and resolution/ppi density but with solid performance. In a number of ways the s21 seems like a downgrade to me; inferior display, less ram, plastic back, slightly heavier, no sd card slot and a processor that allegedly overheats and throttles performance. As someone who aggressively debloats their phone, I don't have fomo about any future features I may miss out on. The s20 makes for a great emulation device that can already play Switch games at 60 fps, for which the sd card support comes in mighty handy.
is it running well
The only thing that keeping me from upgrading to newer flagship is sd card slot but also my s20 battery is really bad 100-0 in 5 hours SoT wifi (60hz) exynos variant
Bought mine in 2020 and still absolutely love it!!!❤❤. Absolutely NO issues. Hope to have it for many years to come. So glad I chose this phone.
Wow really? Would you recommend i buy it this year? From your POV it's pretty amazing
@@adoreTariq Yes I would recommend
@@GodisGreat-p2speople are complain about the battery health but if I buy the phone and buy new battery died you think it will last longer
@a-oneinnovationclothing8930 Have had mine going on 5 years now and no issues with the battery at all. I'm on it all day long and don't have to charge it till I go to bed at night.
Please what's variant is yours? Snapdragon or exynos? I heard of the s20 Screen problems turning green and white without any fall or damage.
Tx much, sorry could not understand is this S20 still have curved screen or no ?
Im still rocking the S8 do you recommend this one over S8? i want to upgrade but not to something that will break the bank. i do not even mind upgrading to S9 or S10, what do you recommend
I used s8 for about 5 years before I switched to this last year, honestly I am fan of s8 there is no phone in world as compact as s8, s20 is bit thicker, I love s8's form. In terms of performance there is incremental improvement but nothing out of world so if you still stick to s8 and you like it there is not much reason to upgrade. Enjoy
In 2024, you should probably be buying the Samsung galaxy A14 or other A series etc, if your trying to not break the bank anyways, if you have a little more money to spend I reccomend getting S21 or S22
I would consider the a51 or s10
Just sold my S10 for 220$ CAD and bought the S20FE refurbished for 212$ CAD shipped from Best Buy love the S20FE.
@@Nelson_is_coolDont advise anyone to buy an a series😂😂😂he'd probably be saving more money buying a flagship in the long term
I use s20Fe for gaming
I use s24 ultra for business
I'm about to buy another one new. Great phone!!
Anybody here experienced ink lines on there s20? I bought UK used ..
even the Galaxy S9 is still worth buying in 2024
Still have my S20
Me 2 But Been wanting a Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra with styles pen 🖊
Same, love it
@@justindavis3131could’ve just gone for the note 20 ultra instead
I have the s20, s21 and s23. I have the s20 with the dbrand case and it is good for one handed use. Which I feel went away with the s21 and up.
The back of the s20 does come off over time, which I think is because of the exynos creating more heat.
I recently got a 15 pro and it is much smoother but I keep feeling more for the S series and use them frequently
Omg send one to me I am broke using a Tecno y2 in africa
Yo s20 is exynos?
@@ωιτο yeah
S20 has a better screen as new ones onley get 1080p screens
what about the S20+
0:23 just got a new OS update
I have a S21 Ultra, a 13 Pro Max and a 15 Pro Max.
Can u share 🙏

Same. The performance is still solid🎉
How about battery?
@@avengerrx_ battery is pretty solid except when using graphic intense games… I’d say like 5-6 hours screen on time for social media users
Still using mine.Four years later absolutely love it
Remember when 120hz was a luxury reserved for flagship devices? 😅
With Apple it still is today
