MARATHON TRAINING | Running, Lifting and Catch Ups

- Join me for a week in the life, as I taper for my first ever marathon at Giants Head in Dorset. I spend the week running, lifting, cycling, swimming and rock climbing, and chat through how I have been feeling and what originally got me into exercise.
I am a new(ish) runner who enjoys being in the outdoors in nature and running around as far as I can, not very quickly. I am documenting my training and general life as a former exercise avoider turned stiff weightlifter who couldn't run for more than 2 mins at a time. Just over a year ago, I realised I needed to get fitter so I could enjoy and make the most out of life and have spent most days since training and falling in love with endurance running. Still very average but loving it nontheless!
