Anne Hathaway, Tom Hardy, Keira Knightley, Lauren Conrad, Emma Stone, Scarlett Johansson, Rowan Blanchard, Ariana Grande, Serena Williams, Rihanna and Jennifer Lawrence have been asked some pretty sexist questions before, but they were quick to shut it down!

Benedict Cumberbatch and Keira Knightley did an interview together where the interviewer told Keira "You look quite rough and tired", at which point Benedict said "That's not a very nice thing to say to one of the most beautiful women in Hollywood" and Keira followed up with "Yeah, f*ck you!"
I'd love a link to that. 👍
Mythellaneous I think Keira Knightly is an incredibly smart, talented and beautiful women. The interviewer must of been jealous of her success , she is a great actress. Those interviewers, can go and fuck their jealous selves !
I remember this interview. Saw it a couple of years ago
I think tat was Ralph fiennes and keira
He said she looked worn. And she’s not one of the most beautiful.
I love how Anne Hathaway looked genuinely concerned about that guy when she asked if he was trying to fit into a cat suit XD
Are you trying to lose weight? Cause you look great. Seriously, we need to talk about this. Lol
Ikr! Lol
NaLu Fairy she’s such a good actress she made it seem like genuine concern 🤣😂💥
It could have gone worse and I”m happy that she willing to understand that if he said yes.
Yes she handled it perfect and classy😁
Are you trying to fit into a cat suit? YESSS ANNE
Or the viewers at home are?
Sofia Nikole the way she says it is perfect
Perfect response and so well delivered much respect Anne
She was so quick and classy.😍Empowerment 😍
I LOVED THAT
I like how when the guy asked Scarlett Johansson about her undergarments Jeremy Renner just looked down and was like “yup dude you got it coming, handle him like a boss ScarJo”😂
But she was understandably aggressive. But he was curious.
He was bowing for the queen
Well he should know, he's the moron who called her character a slut in an interview and got told off for it.
Danial Zaini no it’s just stupid that she always gets comments like that it’s weird to even have that for a question for both men r women
@Alexander Supertramp Aww, you're upset that slut shaming ain't cool anymore? I guess you don't ever get laid.
Some of these questions are so weird. "Do you have any dieting tips for teenage girls?" what? Who asks that? smh
Luisa Well seems like a normal question to me...most of the girls eat junk nowadays..
Sachin Majotra ... and boys don't?
Alex Andrews Lol i don't understand how asking about deiting for teenage girls can be a sexist comments.maybe the reporter was curious that how can more teenage girls be like her fit and healthy...Stupid list
Sachin Majotra You didn't answer my question. Why do we not hear about dieting questions being asked to teenaged boys? Might we not want to learn health tips from them too?
Also, dieting at the age of 13, regardless of gender, is unhealthy. Eating healthy and exercising is great, but no one needs tips on how to do those things.
Alex Andrews Ive already answered your control The reporter doesn't ask question about boys bcz well rowan blanchard is a girl Duh..so when a person look at her at first question will arise in his/her mind that wo she looks good..she is healthy and fit why don't more teenagers doesn't do the things that she did..Like eating good food and minimise ur junk intake..Do you seriously think that by looking at her you will think about a boy like oh she looks nice and fit i wish more boys will be like her and even if the reporter have asked the dieting for girls only so what the problem.. You all are behaving like it's the end of the world or something and dieting doesn't mean eat less food..dieting means that to eat fresh food.! Genius
Rihanna did it the best in my opinion. "I'm not looking for a man, let's start there."
Courtney Bailey totes
I had snap my fingers after that
Eh an honorable mention was good enough.
KvltLarp Warrior The response is epic and men are responding marriage STATS are down she'll likely die unmarried with a house full of cats.
Kate Jones and three yatchs full of money. And a phone full of girlfriends. And a successful music career :)
"what's your favourite position " pause . "CEO"
MIC DROP
Edit- what the hell
I did not expect so many likes
I didn't get it could ya explain
Yeah, that was my favourite one
they were asking about her av sex position but since they didn't clarify she said her favorite position is CEO or basically the Boss because just because she's a woman she can still be a leader@@hypershadic2673
Nupur Lanjekar I would have said middle finger (cause it’s a finger position)
Yes I loved that
I really want to slap that guy who interviewed Jo and Hathaway....he's rude af 😣
He's such a sleazeball
Amen
I was wondering if that was the same a-hole.
@toxic mavi toxic fan i-?
@toxic mavi toxic fan go home dude. You're drunk
My favorite part in the whole video was when Anne Hathaway asked the extra guy if he wanted to fit in a catsuit.
Ericaocean30 🏆
damn, that was awesome
That guy from extra deserves it, he is a serial offender of this kind of thing
Gary Miller I was thinking that the whole time lol
Note that's the same guy who asked Scarlett if she wore underwear
"Are you trying to fit into a catsuit?"
*Iconic*
Maybe he secretly wants to
Feminists: *easily impressed with the mundane*
My favorite is when Mark Ruffalo said that he would answer any sexist questions given to Scarlett Johansson and he truly followed through with it. When she got asked in an interview a question about her body or sorts, he took it upon himself to answer it based off of his own body. This showed that it wasn’t fair to ScarJo that these were the questions she was being asked compared to her male costars
is there a video of it?
Is there a video of it? Pls?
Ashley Stark i found one just look up mark ruffalo answers sexist questions idk something like that
@@tisdickward I saw it on Tumblr I never actually saw the video sorry
if the interviewer is woman then she probly ask the same question but about man
"A man's movie?" Art is for everyone. Male or female.
Or people who are niether
Exactly art is for everyone
Male and women 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
Aobh Scarborough that doesn’t exist
Not really some movies are centered towards certain stereotypical people. Like males and females.
THANK YOU. I grew up watching action movies and tv shows, I love 'em. Guys like that think those movies are by men, starring men, for men, and forget there are females like me that like those movies and don't want guys out of them, but would find it cathartic to see some females in there kicking tushie, too. When I see guys like him say things like that, I wonder if they've ever looked around themselves when they're at the movie theater...it's mostly couples and families, half the audience being female....wake up, man.
I find it not surprising that it was the same dude who asked Scarlett and Anne questions about their body respectively.
SuperChivasLover that‘s what I just thought
He's an ass. He doesn't stop either
He desperately wants to fit in one of those suits.
Seriously just fire that guy
literally just thinking that
"are you you trying to fit into a cat suit?"
*ME*
j hope jhoooooooooooooope
J-Dope
oof hiya hobi
j hope I am your hope
j hope Anne is ICONIC
It's pretty telling of that one interviewer's character that he appeared twice in the video and both times just kept pushing the question. Gross.
100% creep
Hahaha “ I’m not looking for a man. Let’s start there.”
How is it sexist to ask someone what they are looking for in a partner?
@@user-hb2ne3oc6f because it's the same kind of question that women get asked, way too often, especially celebrities (that unfortunately includes guys too). To assume that that's all she should/would care about is sexist.
@@MaceyLooLoo you could ask them 1,000 times and it still wouldn't be sexist.
@@Riskofrain527 The question was "What are you looking for in a man now, to wear this cologne?"
sexist /ˈsɛksɪst/ adjective
1. characterized by or showing prejudice, stereotyping, or discrimination, typically against women, on the basis of sex.
Until your biological clock starts ticking so loudly in your ears.
At least the singles bars are open late, and stocked with the most amazing selection of shallow garbage genes!
I think the most annoying thing about being asked inappropriate or uncomfortable questions is that interviewers keep persistently asking the question when the interviewee is clearly uncomfortable or annoyed by the question, take a hint the first time
Ikr. You can clearly tell that they just want a reaction
and that they blame that person and label them "hard to work with"
SweetDreams20 True.
+mendez5525
Yep.
mendez5525 because in our culture women being uncomfortable isn't important. Smh.
"Are you trying to fit into a cat suit?" BEST BURN EVER!
I loved that!!!
This is the same guy who asked Scarlet Johansson about her underwear as Black Widow.
Drimpresario yeah,what an ass
And the delivery. Such concerned innocence.
Drimpresario Wow, guy is chronically clueless, isn’t he?
"CEO"👌👌
I dont understand it can u explain lol 😂
I also don't get it
Angela Chen position as in sex position. You're most likely too young to understand.
Sarah Gallant oh no, you're mistaken, I'm totally old enough, just haven't looked too much in the sex field since it doesn't interest me that much yet. What I don't get is that in what way is the CEO position a good comeback in that situation. I googled and it says that CEO gives the woman more power but...nah I still don't get how the CEO gives the woman more power
Angela Chen The question was about sex positions, but she diverted the question referring to Job positions. In fact, CEO means Chief executive officer, which is a prestigious position in the world of work. :)
Anne's response was clearly the most brilliant because she latched onto his line of questioning and made it all about him to the point where, to prove he had no personal body issues, he'd essentially force himself to move onto more substantive questions which is what Anne would have preferred from the start.
She was such an activist for women's right traipsing around set in that sexy, revealing skin tight costume. I noticed she didn't have an ounce of fat on her body either that's how most women look I guess. Yeah I guess if somebody'e gonna pay you huge sums of money one can look the other way and demean the shit outta women and then get all sanctimonious with the interviewer when called out for it. You feminists are a wealth of hypocrisy thank you
@@k-dude4514 All people should be allowed to wear what they want (as long as it's not something offensive of course). That's what equality is about, right? People being allowed to make their own choices, and having the same opportunities. If someone wants to wear something tight, that's great. But if someone else only wants to wear very loose clothing, that's also great. Just let people be people and focus on more important stuff. Idk what's so hypocritical about that.
@@TheOriginalCK i agree
"At least you got a pretty hot co-star"
"Yeah."
"Hayley's smoking hot"
"Oh, I thought you meant Sebastian Stan" Idk but Chris Evans shutting down this interviewer was so casual but awesome?? Bless him
I think he genuinely thought he was talking about Sebastian Stan 😂 That's why it was so perfect! He wasn't even trying to shut him down but he ended up doing it
Chris Evans? I didn't saw him in this video???
Gabriel frost he wasn't in this video; I just wanted to add that in
Sammy R .
Melissa Mitchell unfortunately, I can't find it. It was in a random compilation
Hats off to Anne Hathaway. That comeback was golden!
Sofia Victoria
And it now appears to be REALLY about Lauer's own sick sexual fantasy.......
If you look at a lot of his past interviews, they now take on a new meaning. He has been harassing women for over a decade. His bosses knew too.
Wow, that's really shitty. I appreciate that she turned the questions around on him and didn't let him make her feel uncomfortable.
"are you trying to fit into a cat suit?" Still my favorite.
To Matt Lauer? Absolutely!
About fitness? No way. There are many many articles about the The Rock, 300, Wolverine, Batman, Spiderman diets/workouts etc... Asking her about hers was inclusive to the superhero/action star culture. Never asking her would be more sexist.
"Are you trying to fit into a cat suit?" THATS THE BEST THING EVER
her awesome body looked great in it. It seemed a bit demeaning to be galavanting around in a skin tight costume but she probably got paid well so the social activism will have to wait until after they pay her to parade her body around the screen. These women make me laugh my ass off.
“In quotes? What do you mean in quotes?” Helen Mirren was great in that interview
Am I the only one who thinks that the one who interviewed Scarlett about the under garments was the same as the one who questioned Anne?
I was thinking the same thing! If so, he sure needs to get his mind out of the gutter, lol!
It is the same person
No. That's made abundantly clear by the comment section, many of those comments came before you. Not only that, but the fact that it's true.
Yeah I have seen him before. Retire him already!
- ̗̀cяεscεηт . Samsies
The sexist questions were asked by the same guy like a good couple times 😂
Annie Mill9mm
Zí
Annie Miller
Ikr . freaking annoying
I know, I am like please tell me that guy is not working doing that anymore. He was so skeezy too. I cant believe he would ask "were you wearing underwear" Im a gay dude and I would not think that was something cool. Probably why I never thought that when seeing her in that movie. I just was like that is some damn good fighting, go scarlet. I wouldnt have minded a hint though of what the hulk is packing.
Why would anyone want to have a conversation about underwear?😑😑😑, what is this? I felt sorry for Scarlet.
Well Victoria's Secret did make a business on it...
That is my question too
I don’t think that question in itself is all that weird considering Tom Holland often gets asked the same question. HOWEVER, since he appears twice in this video there’s clearly a problem regardless
I think that dude was just a perv..
Very inappropriate
"are you trying to fit into a cat suit?" LOL
So, Helen Mirren has ALWAYS RULED. Extra props to her, because showing that sort of "attitude" back then could have shut down her career.
Exactly! Helen Mirren's is so much more powerful since it wasn't the usual for women to stand up for themselves and they were also kind of raised that way, with that mentality. Now it's almost a trend and much easier to tell people "HEY, I'm not a brainless sex doll", back then though it took some b*lls.
It is amazing to see how poise and refined she is in that clip. Like she handled the situation confidently and with grace. It would be hard to not give respect to her.
yeah, and wtf Parko respect him as an interviewer but now having seen that lol
Was so happy to see her as number one. The Dame rules.
justalurkr yeah she's the kind of level that all parents should be raising their daughters to be and raising their son's to respect she's amazing.
I love Anne Hathaway, "are you trying to fit into a cat suit?" I wish I had the quick brain power to turn questions around like she did, at least twice... Also, I know women get asked sexist questions (way) more than males do, but males do get asked sexist or inappropriate questions. As an interviewer you shouldn't ask personal questions or different topic questions because of someone's sexuality, race, or anything that's not "normal".
Sarah Glover they don’t get asked sexist questions any more than men. Women are just more sensitive.
Sarah Glover I thought Cat Woman was black...
Queen Savage
There's some cat woman (mostly in comics I'd say) who have been black, or African American (or to whatever you wanna say to be politically correct), but in the 2012 Batman movie with Christian Bale, Anne Hathaway was Cat Woman.
Sam Penrose spoken like a true misogynist.
Sarah Glover, men being asked questions about their looks isn't sexist. It's sexist when done towards women because there is an inherent bias women as a group experience in society that leads to those questions being SPECIFICALLY aimed at women. Our culture inherently sees women as sex objects (where bodies are valued, more than intelligence) while men as a group have never been seen as objects, as the male sex. Men's status as human beings is/has always been seen as the creator/leader/jack of all trades (men are the leaders of the culture, and it has been structured to serve men), which means they can be seen as sexual, physically attractive AND capable of being human and at the forefront of society, while women have not been granted the same privilege. The personhood of the male sex has never been a question. For women, sexual objectification is literal, whereas men have been socially taught (and constantly reaffirmed by the media, politics, and every other societal institution) that women aren't equal, but rather secondary tools that can be used and exploited and here for their advantage. That is why those comments are sexist towards women. It is not sexist towards men, ever. That's not what sexism is or how it functions in society.
"Are you tryna fit into cat suit"
*#1 savage moment*
I love when ariana says you need a brushing up on equality she is so mad
I felt bad for her. Being asked sexist questions in a room full of men. She was very soft on them even when calling them out.
My favorite will always be Andy Murray who was asked:
"You're the first person ever to win two olympic gold medals in tennis, that's extraordinary, isn't it?"
And responded with: "I think Serena and Venus both have about four each"
Alpha Morty i wanna see you try win one
No matter if you're female or not, I don't think you would win against Venus or Serena or any other of the top female players
Alpha Morty Hahaha nice joke.
Alpha Morty why the fuck did you say that female medals dont count. Are you on drugs or something? Like seriously you need help
For some people person =/= woman
ITS THE SAME INTERVIEWER WITH ANNE HATHAWAY AND SCARLETT JOHANSSON
Phoebe Waights the sexist interviewer LMAO hope they fire him
They both totally owned him though, way to go !
The interviewer from EXTRA was the same for both Scarlett Johansson and Anne Hathaway. You can tell he’s very sexist
Came here after Scarlett was asked about FASHION during one interview for Endgame
🙄🙄🙄🙄
I’m glad she at least had a good time making fun of it 😂
Black Widow has been a BA character since Iron Man 2 and the interviewer asked about fashion? He should’ve asked more relevant questions about her character such as her sacrifice.
For real??? Her character does a lot more than fucking LOOK GOOD IN BLACK. I hate sexist interviewers.
@@lilscenechick1995 scarlet always gets that kind of questions.. It's really offensive. Every time every others cast people gets questions deep about their characters and their development or their influence in the show. But Scarlett gets questions like are you wearing any undergarments or what will be black widow's new fashion elements...
lol the Rihanna comment is iconic
Rebelle how are there so many likes, but like no comments ?
Astrodex hunh ....
?
Oh yeah, love how there was a guy on there standing up for his female costars! No one said you had to be female to be a feminist.
Lordkingkoe Except Nazis are highly prejudiced and feminism (at least the kind expressed here) is for gender equality. You saying it is illogical for men to think women are equal to them? Wow. You must think men are just naturally prejudiced monsters. That's sexist.
yes, he is a brilliant guy
Lordkingkoe Nice try edgelord. Creep back up from your basement when you finally start making sense.
+Lordkingkoe
Lmao baby boy calm down your poor ego is so small so delicate and so easily hurt your tiny mind cant possibly handle the idea of men supporting women and equality hahaha 🤣🤣
Oh You Poor ignorant thing Dont you know that you're comment is total BS? LOL
every wave of feminism has ALWAYS been resisted by "men". See, little boys like you have always tried to give feminists the status of being man hating no matter what wave of feminism it is. Do you Understand now sweetheart? No? LOL (I know it must be so hard for you, your tiny brain just cant comprehend it can it LOL)
It's so funny lmao. Nothing in this video shows feminists hating men but you're going to pretend and makeup imaginary BS so you can whine about imaginary BS. Stop being such a snowflake dumbass
DisneyFanatic2364 feminists do
"Such boring questions". Yes, they are.
7:45 “are you trying to fit into a catsuit?” YES IM DYING
"CEO" bruh lauren a gangster son
21stcenturymermaid what did that mean?
Jacob Rickayzen The question was asking about favourite sexual position (which is a disgusting thing to ask anyway) and instead of letting it be seen as sexual she said that
Oh! thanks
21stcenturymermaid what does CEO means?
M.C. CEO means chief executive officer. Like the head of a company. The question was "favourite position?" As in sex position, and she decided to make it favourite job position because it's a disgusting question.
Anne Hathway is my role model "are you trying to fit into a cat suit" yessssssss
*I was anti-feminist most of my life and saw women's rights as a threat to men, then indifferent, and now realize that men are affected negatively by stereotypes too. Embracing women's rights advances human rights for both genders.*
hey idk you, but I'm so proud of you for learing that lesson. lots of people never do. as a feminist myself, I want so much for men. stupid anti feminist bs hurts men too. men deserve to like "girly" things, express their feelings, ask for help, etc without getting shit. and ideally, feminism strives for that!
Trust me dude, with the way feminism is going, you don't need it.
Yes that’s true. I am glad you realized this. Empower women and women can help empower men too. But I’d go further and clarify-even if women’s rights didn’t affect men’s wellbeing, it would still be the right thing to want other people (in this case women) to stop suffering from injustice. I hope you remorse at the sight of injustice and want to root for change regardless of whether it would benefit you too.
@@Hotpink51 Being Girly??? See that's the problem in modern society, men aren't allowed to be men, masculinity is a negative thing. You stupid sexist. You probably believe in the toxic masculinity myths too??
Don't you see the rising in men suicides? Do you really believe that men aren't being opressed in any way? Thoughness is a thing that men has because of biology, the male wolwes fight each other to see who is the toughtest and the toughtest wolf will become the leader.
@@darkwolf4434 But we are no wolves. In many parts of nature there are female lead groups (lions, elephants, killer whales) and there are herd animals, in which a friendly male has a higher status than a macho male, cause he supports the entire group. An example for the last one is a human ape species, I think it was Bonobo or chimpanzee, so one of our closest relative. And by the way the alpha wolf myth is not even true. A wolf pack is lead by a couple (not single male) and this couple is not chosen, because of its aggression, but because of its capability to hold the group together.
Yes, you are right that more man commit suicide and that it is a side effect of feminism, but in a completely different way, than you said. Women nowadays can life perfectly well without a man, which leaves more man alone. But because man do not openly talk about emotions with other man, because of manly stereotypes, and women not being available all the time to talk about feelings to like they used to be, men start to lock their emotions away, which leads to them getting depressed, cause they can't open up (again manly stereotypes) and then they kill themselves. Without the "Men don't show emotions" bullshit there would be far less suicides. And feminists are trying to tackle this specific issue.
And that this stereotype is idiotic can easily be seen by the fact, that in Sparta (war centered, still seen as incredibly manly culture nowadays) soldiers, who didn't cry during funerals, were considered weak, unemotional and not fit to serve in a group, and people, we would consider alpha males, were seen as to aggressive and selfish to lead a troop. And some of the most powerful leaders are known as very emotional people, for example Marc Aurel, Alexander the Great, Augustus and Abraham Lincoln.
So the strong alpha male, aggressive leader type is basically bullshit, because aggression might let you control a group, but only temporarly until they rise against you, while compassion can allow you to actually lead a group. And in the long run it will hurt you more than anyone around you.
1975 and now 2019. Sorry Helen, people are still stuck on those boring questions!
10:03 the man is staring at helens bossom
there was an interview with Bastille and the keyboardist, Kyle Simmons, was talking about how many pairs of shoes he has and the interviewer said, "but shoe collecting is a women's hobby, isn't it?" and the singer, Dan Smith, responded, "That's a sexist generalization."
Especially now a days with things like athletic shoes (Jordans and such) becoming popular to collect. I live in Vegas and there is a shoe place here owned in part by Nas called 12am Run that specializes in collectors edition sneakers and my friend has to keep her husband in check...lol. I'm personally not into shoes, and I find it hard to understand, but they donate money and raffle items to our school's PTA so I'm happy they are making a profit.
The interviewer just stupid...a lots of men collecting shoes nowadays
Yea fair enough with he rise of the sneaker culture etc. dudes been collecting shoes but if the question was on collecting tea cups or something, yea that shit's gay and it isn't a sexist generalisation.
gjaddajg what is sexist is expecting women to act a certain way and men to act another way, purely because of the genitalia between their legs
Rebecca C Actually, they are different. Ever heard of estrogen and testosterone? This part may not be backed by science, but it has been observed-> Men tend to have other characteristics than women do. For instance, my father is always forgetful/careless, but my mother is usually good at remembering/carful. The whole problem is that people fail to acknowledge the differences, usually because they "go against" our "progressive society".
that helen mirren one makes me so angry every time i see it. What an idiotic question.
Im so sick of all these old saggy men running the countries and politics and money and shit...and all of them thinking that men are the only ones watching tv so we ladies should cover up our bodies so they dont get turned on or some shit...like wtf. Go Helen.
Boy, Parkinson came off as a skeeve. Someone you would never allow to babysit. Ewww.
That said, his skeeve only polished La Mirren’s class.😎
Just imagine if had replied, 'So, by your logic, wouldn't it inadvertently mean that all great actors who give unhindered performances aren't well endowed?' Although I do hate the patriarchal idea of phallocentrism and its unhealthy obsession of worshipping sizes! Still it would have shut the interviewer up!
Jasmine M I get told comments of similar nature due to the size of my boobs too. When I was single, some guys would ask or give me unsolicited advice, because they were “concerned” about how their fellow men would not taking me seriously or what they would think of me due to my big boobs: Men are not going to think seriously and/or it will affect their perception of you. Excuse me? 😒
That’s such a moronic point of view and I am supposed to be so concerned with trying to change those men’s opinions about me so they take me seriously? Please. I didn’t know big boobs meant I lack intellect, I am “slutty” (Don’t even get me started on that word) or lack the principles or character for them to take me seriously. If you’re one of those men, I most certainly don’t care what you think 😌💅🏼
Karla Hufford yes girl preach!! Honestly men like that make me want to stay single forever. Why on earth would the size of someone's boobs have any correlation with their intellect or competence? Makes 0 sense and all it does is prove that they don't seem to have the critical thinking skills necessary to be giving anyone any kind of advice LOL
"Do you want to fit in the catsuit?" OWNED HIM 👏👏👏👏
Isn't that the same guy that interviewed scarlet johansson and anne hathaway???
Yes
That's what I was thinking haha lol
Exactly the same disgusting man 😁
He's just curious. Don't you want to know how SJ fit in that thing and fight? Especially Anne, and the diet. Don't be mean and think straight. Don't think sexist or angry but logical.
@@DonoZeek and do you think it is appropriate to ask somebody about their underwear? duh 🤦🏽♀️
You asked a 13 year old girl to give dieting tips to other 13 year old girls? This is why eating orders are such a problem.
An eating disorder is not a diet.
Chris Davis ... I know this. I have one.
Whoever was asking that 13 year old girl a DIET question just made me sick. Goodness gracious
the people doing these interviews are all messed up. hope they can figure out how to respect other people.
how is that sexist?
A GIRL ASKED THAT QUESTION most likely.
A young girl was probably struggling with her weight and decided to ask a girl who seemed to be in good shape.
I would love to ask the same question to Chris Hemsworth.
This was not sexist because I would bet a girl asked this question to another girl.
Johnus Smittinis - it's not as sexist as it is fucked up. she's a kid and what kind of question is that for a child? but it is a sexist question. it only seems like it's not because the concept of women being given those types of questions is engrained into society. it's deep rooted sexism. basically, it's so sexist that you can't tell. if that makes sense. they'd never ask a skinny 13 year old boy what his diet is. i get that it's hard to really understand how these questions are sexist unless you read into it a lot so i'm not angry or think you're dumb for not getting it. I just happen to read about it a lot so it's obvious to me. but this is why since you asked.
What's up : What if another 13 girl who is struggling with her weight wanted advice on what food to eat and decided to ask her favorite celebrity? That would not be sexist or "fucked up"
You're assuming some older guy is asking this question, and I think that is a bad assumption given how they pull these questions from girls who watch the show.
"if you dont order fries you will probably be mad" - Rowan Blanchard, lol i love it
"CEO"…............*slow claps*
Helen Mirren has such a kindness tone in her voice that she could tell us to go fuck off and it would sound so classy, huh??
no seriously, we have to talk about this. *whispers* are you trying to fit into a cat suit? rofl 🤣
The interviewer badgering Anne Hathaway is the same one badgering Scarjo about her underwear
He's a freaking pig 😷
"R u trying to fit into a cat suit?" 😂beautiful
ITS THE SAME GUY
Reegan Fobes ikr
nightwishnemo
What? She's beautiful, how could anyone (purposely) mistake her for man? Oh I know! You're sexist!
Reegan Fobes
Yeah I also noticed that the guy that asked about Black Widow's suit asked about Cat Woman's suit. He's such a gross pervert.
I think it's also the one that asked RDJ about his "dark years" and if he's really gooten away from drugs and alcohol. An imbecile.
In Ariana side she was trying not to scream or yell at them she was trying to be nice to them but I could tell in her eyes she just wanted to scream at them and say those things about us like girls don't only care about our phone or makeup
That’s not a rude question at all in my opinion.. If a girl asked me you either can drive your car/play video games for the last time or your phone, which would it be? I would give them an answer. I’m not going to say “oh how rude of you, you think guys only care about cars/video games or a phone? Where’s your sense of inequality!” It’s obvious when it comes down to statistics, the amount of girls who wear makeup is much greater so than guys. Also, more guys play video games and enjoy cars than girls. It’s not “sexist”, it’s just facts. It’s not even a bad thing if a guy wants to apply makeup or a girl playing games and enjoying cars. That’s just being unnecessarily sensitive. I agree with all the other interviews being sexist, but not this one.
Jason van but it's such an unnecessary question. And the way they said ladies should learn from her when she said she could go many hours without her phone is just saying that all women care about is their phone and make up
Actually they just gave her a what if (choose one) question which is very common in entertainment style interviews. The fact is women do have strong associations with Makeup and Cell phones so i don't find it unreasonable to ask, and certainly not rude.
So many psychologists on youtube
Jason van
I think their point is that boys assume all girls care about is phones, makeup and their appearance, which is far from the truth. I mean, to go out of your way to specifically ask someone to choose between phones and makeup just because they're a girl is way too much.
Anne Hathaway’s was my absolute favorite
1:54 so when a movie is filled with women, people want to boycott it for being a "feminist movie", but when a movie is filled with men, shot from a man's point of view, no one bats an eye and it's just called "a movie". lol and men still don't know what feminism means
PREACH 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Well, that's because every female move has to throw a punch at men, while every male move doesn't care about your twisted view on things.
@@ffs5225 what about all the male movies throughout history that have sexualized, objectified, or overall just dumbed down the intelligence of women? cause i'm pretty sure that's called "throwing punches", too... The only difference is, it is so widely accepted in society to sexualize and tear down the image of women... that men have been programmed from birth to view this as "normal". Yet when men are subjected to the same objectification/dumbing down treatment, it is seen as "twisted"... When in reality, it's twisted to paint out any entire gender as dumb or evil. That's the exact point I was trying to make.
Are you trying to fit in a catsuit?lolololol I really love anne hathaway
Scarlet Johanson and Anne Hathaway were interviewed by the same guy or is it just me?
Emmanuelle Person Same idiot is more like it
Yeah I think its the same guy
Same sexist asshole
Same ugly annoying person...
Emmanuelle Person yes and both acted horrendously toward a guy asking a question yes every male gets asked as well. I'm gonna make this real simple for u ladies. Google every Ryan Reynolds interview. Now sit back and hear all about his diet, workout routine, life balancing, kid raising, shirtlessness, sex life, merkins worn....and understand how stupid the reactions are here. You want to be empowered and I have no problem with such, start your cause by stating we are not victims. I guarantee you'll make more progress in a week then you do with this garbage.
I wish I would be able to have great comebacks this fast...I don‘t.
*"Are you trying to fit into a catsuit?“ Yasss girl!*
“Do you wear undergarments?”
I don’t know, do you?
just show the fucking clips, whenever the clip is supposed to come, you get either 3 seconds of it, or none at all. make a podcasts if you're not showing any footage
Copyright infringements, yo
Copyright dude ever heard of it? Can really mess up a channel
Like I said, don’t make the video then or make a podcast
What © infringements?
You *can* make _limited_ use of © material under the "Fair Use" principle, for commentary, review, criticism, parody, research, interview etc....
Also, what the Hell? Did you miss the clips from all the movies & interviews mentioned? It's obviously bad editing, not fear of © infringement. Are you new to Mojo videos or something? :p
Theawesomeguitardude dude, just google it. nobody here works for u
lol are you trying to fit in a catsuit?
Euan scotland I hope you realize what you're saying is disgusting
Lesliam Urico god that killed me
comics geek so are your poos. But you keep going back for more......
Still got that Mia wit from The Princess Diaries 👌
So you're comparing yourself to shit? Accurate.
10:06 if the clip is "uncomfortable to watch", imagine how she must have felt having to answer those questions. So proud of her for standing her ground and not letting the interviewer act like a person's body type affects their talents 👏👏👏
u does relise he just love her body right? it doesnt mean he think person's body type affects their talents
@@pinkfongbabyshark-kidssong8533 these questions tend to be focused heavily on women, implying our primary appeal is our body, which further suggests our worth is based on how much sex appeal we have, thus saying our only purpose is to please men and reproduce. i hope this helped you understand :)
@@lucifermorningstar8098 like i said, he do that because he horny, or sthing like that. when a man horney, he doesnt trying to suggest anything, he just horny and try to pleasure himself with those questions. now if listener is a woman that love naughty questions, then she will interpret those questions in different way. That why u cant be so sure that he trying to suggest anything, ofc he may do that, but no one can be so sure, and if he do that (disrespect women) through those questions, then it is himself that at fault, not those questions. I mean, those questions could be used for sexual desire, and I dont think sexual desire should be treated as someone trying to disrespect other.
@@pinkfongbabyshark-kidssong8533 most of what you're saying is incorrect, inappropriate and very problematic. you've also made it clear that you're not actually taking what I'm saying into account when answering. why should i talk to you if you're not listening to what I'm saying? please educate yourself on this issue. do everyone a favour and stop replying to this kind of thing, all you're doing is embarrassing yourself and showing how ignorant you are.
@@lucifermorningstar8098 do u actually read my answer, u said i dont taking what u say into account, can u proof that, bc i did read ur comment. and what u mean by educated my self? u mean until i have the same opinion as u then and only then i am right? and as long as i have different view point than u then im wrong? u should educate urself about different in opinions between ppl, escape ur our view point to see the different. and seriously, did i insult u any where? and yet u already said things that is not debatable but simply insult, lol.
Holy crap. +1000 to Helen Mirren for being an absolute boss.
Also that lady with the tampon was awesome.
I'd like to think that Brie Larson would get this same kind of support from the comments if she were in this kind of situation.
boudicca storm yeah but she doesn’t need to be such a bitch all the time. like the throng with chris and having a stunt double.
The Helen Mirren one was my favourite. She acts with total class as she puts him in his place!
That lady is comedian Amy Schumer lol and she never holds back. 🤣
I don't like Any Schumer's comedy style and I don't think she's that funny, but that tampon comment killed me. Lmfao
Ungreatful Duck Sperm is a bodily fluid almost directly correlated with intercourse, regardless of whether or not it can be controlled. Menstruation isn't sexual (it's painful af) and does not end in orgasm. You don't here women talking about female lubrication (is there a better word for it? Seriously?). So I don't think sexual fluids should be talked about as openly, but menstruation has nothing to do with sex. It's on the same level as sweat.
"...and an O.B. TAMPON!"
Cringeeee
Haha, and I saw the humor and thought it was funny. Wow.
Cajsa Jangård that was funny as hell
Yeah, no one needed, or wanted, to know that. I hate Amy Schumer with a burning passion
I suddenly feel blessed not being able to hate someone with passion. Especially people like Amy. Like, really. Who else do you arrr frikin' hAT3!, you know. Phew.
”And an OB TAAAMPOOON” girl YES
Omg Amy Schumer’s response was actually the best thing ever
Just wondering why the narrator talks over the whole interview with Emma so we cant hear the actual question, but stops talking in time for us to hear an interview with Ellen?
Delainey SRN probably copyright reasons
Because Ellen is part of the Nicki Swift Illuminati Pizzagate pedofile cult, or more likely because these things are usually poorly produced. (Ellen I have heard has a scary side)
+Brett Mastema
Everyone has a scary side.
That is true but this i know people that will not work on things if she is involved. Sounded mostly like she had a possee of her crew that she trusts and then becomes overly controlling. Its probably control issues and stress and not realizing how she may come across in those moments.
I don't know personally, not done anything with her. The only person that stood out to me to make things not fun on projects was Wil Smith although mainly because of everyones uptight need to get stuff perfect for him, kind of way. I have worked on 2 films (maybe 3) with him and the only exchange we had was him saying "scuse me" (with a tone of "you are in my way") LOL
I find that alot of the ones people trash as rude on here were because it was a bad moment or they said something offensive (which people dont realize that the celebrity doesn't know them back). I worked on something with Mike Tyson and was floored that a guy thought it would be funny to joke about his prison thing for rape as the first thing to say to him.
b/c it's fake news
This is very intriguing. It's a video addressing serious topics like sexism and feminism, but instead of being on Mojo it's specifically on MsMojo. I get the correlation between the topics and the account, but having a Mojo and MsMojo almost suggests that Mojo is advertising that these kinds of topics are only of interest to one specific gender - in this case very obviously women, instead of making a statement and saying that this is a topic that should be addressed on a more universal & popular account. Maybe I'm just thinking a bit too deep about it, but I guess it's something that I find odd and a bit of an oxymoron. Oh wells.
No thats such a good point !
Yeah you are thinking too much, but still I think you're right about it though.
I thought this the most poignant comment on this thread. I mean even looking at the topics of MsMojo vs. Mojo kind of promotes what this video is trying to get at. In addition, why is there no MrMojo? Its part of that tagged other. There's the regular channel and then this one for "chick stuff". I mean why not a MrMojo for all the "hot lady celebrities" or "best cars in films" if we want to be gendered about it.
Wow this is a really good point. I feel embarrassed that I did not picked up on that myself.
King of the Stream yeah I agree
Excuse me why does the guy who interviewed ScarJo and Anne still has a job
@munchkin.mp4 u know what it mean to lose a job? u ppl so fuking sensitive to the point that dont even care what happen to other ppl life, u feel offensive by his word, and u want he lose his job, for god sake!
*"BOYS LEARN!"* the best response ever
Taylor Swift does raise a great point like dafq sh'e's doing what some many other artist in that category do
Callum Reid Great point would be when someone criticises the hip-hop/trap music scene that's all about bums and coke.
niel eppion erm not really a good example would be rappers who call girls woes when they claim to fuck every girl in sight ( who's the real woe ;) )
True, man.
Honestly, some rappers and some females are just plain stupid and desperate to make money
Although I kinda felt after seeing that whole Kanye lyric tift, that she may get that because she seems to still sometimes act like a junior high schooler.
I like she mentioned Ed Sheeran because I always thought Taylor seemed very angry at exes but Ed just seemed sad. If I had a bad breakup I'd go to Taylor for revenge but Ed if I needed emotional support (based on songs at least).
"OB tampoooon" 😁
Amanda Rosa I was fuckin cackling at that
Me too! hahaha
Best reply. I want every star to reply with uncomfortable period comments every time they're asked what they're wearing.
The interviewer was shook lol
OMG, yesssss!!
Don’t forget about the one when an interviewer asked Taylor Swift if she was going to take home more than some awards that night but also lots of men. And she denied saying that she was going to hang out with her friends and then to go back home to her cats
Amy Schumer's response was brilliant. I'M WEARING A TAMPON because screw you, what a pointless f***ing question, whether you're asking men OR women. The best part was the reporter's scandalised expression 😂
221b Tardis Potter-Baggins it’s not pointless, the actors are required to “advertise” the designers they are wearing. It’s part of the contract when they pick the outfit for the red carpet. Amy Schumer just took it one brilliant step further and gave a great answer.
1. Helen Mirren
2. Rihanna
3. Anne Hathaway
dawngrrrl you got that wrong 👏👏👏
anne Hathaway wasn't exactly sexist they asked the men the same questions haha
Let's start there
dawngrrrl
I don't know the woman, but I like the one who answered "CEO" 😂
Tom Hardy, Taylor swift
lol the ob tampon comment
made that girl so uncomfortable i lost it
I was literally crying over that, and I'm not even an Amy Schumer fan
Zack jay I think you may have replied to the wrong comment lmfao...
+Christian kathryn Grimes Schumer is going to play Barbie! LOL!
Christian kathryn Grimes same tho
"what's your feline fitness routine?"
Anne: AH-HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
I feel you, girl
4:30
5:40
7:09
8:07
9:07
(These are for a school presentation haha ignore this)
Did you do a school project about sexism? I know it's one year later but I'm just curious
Scarlett is such a leader I love her so much and I like the way she stays true to herself. You go girl!
Ann Hathaway's answers were brilliant and really clever
"are you trying to fit in a cat suit" lol
To people doubting the sexism of the Serena Williams one: do you ever hear people ask - idk - Tom Brady how it feels to be the best *male* athlete? The name of the athlete doesn't matter - look at most male athletes and the praise they get. It's never made as blatantly clear that they are male and by constantly putting 'female' before awards that women get, it suggests that they and their accomplishments aren't comparable to a mans. It doesn't just apply to sports. Take comedy, for example. When a male comic is interviewed/awarded/spoken of in general, people feel no need to explicitly state the fact that they are male. Female comic on the other hand? It's constantly mentioned that they are female, and they are constantly bombarded with stupid questions about 'how it feels to be a female comic'. It implies that female comedians are unnatural; that male comedians are the default and the norm. B.S. On that last point, you should look up Amy Poehler and Tina Fey because they've discussed how stupid, demeaning and annoying this is for women. They did one interview with E! where the guy asked about their gender in relation to their job and the pair's reaction was priceless. (Also, maybe guys do get asked about their workout regimen, but nowhere near as much. And not on a panel with all their costars - the ScarJo one was degrading for her because she was with a bunch of other castmates that day and whilst they got asked about storylines/acting, all the press wanted to pry from her were beauty tips. Again, diminishing B.S.)
“No seriously we have to talk about this man what what what do you want”
“Whispers” “are you trying to fit in a cat sui
Oh my god Anne oh my god
i wish you guys would just show us the video before talking over it all.
i wish that on most everything on you tube.
I think they're smart for doing it that way. The moment they expand the context for these, you would see just how trivial and not sexist really any of these situations were.
+Alvaro Melgar what do you mean "not sexist" they really are tho
laramie Lmao yeah, nooooo they're not. I'll give you one, maybe two, being mildly sexist (particularly the last one) but if you watched the whole interviews for the rest, no they're not sexist at all. Guys receive identical questions all the time; is it sexist against them? Can something be sexist against both genders for the exact same reasons at the same time? In my mind, something that affects both genders equally doesn't sound like sexism anymore, ya know?
Alvaro Melgar ok man
This whole video made me want to scream "YOU GO GIRL!!"
gjaddajg your comment made me laugh cause it's so stupid. 'Braindead feminism' wtf that doesn't even make sense
YOU GO GLEN COCO!!!
Some of them were sexist, and some of them were not. But sexism can be directed towards men too, yet I didn’t see any of that in this video. Isn’t that a bit sexist ?
Greasy hair you have the downs lol
Greasy hair why?
Wow these women are amazing.
"And an OB TAMPOOOON"
My fave thing ever imma hella say something about that if i ever make it to the red carpet
Some were outrageousily inappropriate, that we all should agree.
John clewis obviously, but that is the modern entertainment industry.
Seriously. People needs to start thinking about what they're saying, 'cause it's very obvious that they are speaking before they think
Gitte Beauty be humble, sit down.
Anne Hathaway’s little concerned “Are you trying to fit into a cat suit” KILLED ME
“Are you trying to lose weight...” -Anne Hathaway I love you
Too many explanations, just show the clips please
Kris LaWho they won't, the vids need to be more than 10mins, only way to get some revenue. This is why these vids are pure bs
Andrés Felipe This. This is the problem with youtube these days. and then some of them they dont even show the actual clip, just say what happened. I mean, jeez, you'd think they'd at least wanna pad the runtime by explaining and THEN playing it.
You must be new here..
Well we've been on this page a few weeks longer than your pathetic attempt at snark. I am real damn familiar with the way both UA-cam and Mojo works, and there are some things I don't like. If no one talks about the shit we don't like, it will never change, will it? So why don't you take your "witty remarks" somewhere else, jackass.
Amen
why in the ever loving fuck are they asking a 13 year old about dieting? making girls question their figure and weight at such a young age is how eating disorders develope
exactly, and women from all age groups develop eating disorders, so the only appropriate time to ask a girl about that is if you have an eating disorder and you want help.
All these women handled these questions with such grace. I would’ve gotten so snarky lol
Why do ppl need 2 know what underwear Scarlett wears under the black widow suit? Totally unnecessary
