Those pull types do a great job of swathing. This is just a newer version of the 580 which was the same build as my Massey 35. Biggest difference is the transport. My Massey 35 was all manual transport having to jack up the left wheel and change the position of the wheel so the swather goes down the road end wise behind a tractor or pickup. Biggest drawback is they won't handle a heavy crop of canola but in cereal grains you can't beat them.

Nice looking 590. I think Macdon built all the pull types for red , green, and their own black painted ones.

I used MacDons version of this a year ago. A really neat machine. It’s crazy how nimble they are once you learn how to operate.
