Your grandma is so cool! She can actually appreciate the new music era instead of just hating on it. Also has amazing opinions which are always appreciated!
X is literally the reason I made it out alive a had never heard anyone make music like him at the time and it just changed my life it was like therapy. I really appreciate you guys checking him out and actually understanding his music it really brings me joy to see. And as far as this type of music from x I'd recommend listening to the how 17 album it's really a powerful one!
not only what his music meant to people the beats this man could make music too was unbelievable pre xxx no one would have a clue on how to make a banger to these type of beats
It’s amazing to see the huge impact he left behind in the short life he lived. I hope you’re still doing well! And I definitely plan on doing more songs from 17, thanks for watching!
X is literally the person who helped me get through my depression in my teenage years I’ll always be grateful for him. Definitely wanna see more reactions
That’s why I am so grateful for having a mom that bonds with me like no other.. since some years juice was someone I listened to very much to the point he became my favorite rapper and I showed his music to my mum and she liked him immediately and after a while she even came to me and showed some music from him that she liked. I also listened a lot to X but I never really showed my mum anything from him cause I feel like X was very depressing in most of his stuff or it was really aggressive comparing to juice but I showed her some stuff and information about him just not as much as about juice. Some day my mum came into my room and she talked about how how she listened to X some minutes ago and how it’s a shame that he died so early cause he was so talented and I was like, huh? What?😅 But of course I agreed with her and I showed her some new stuff that she never heard bc i knew she was now open minded for some other stuff haha.. and I am not even from the US but from Germany so when she searched for some Juice music or X music it wasn’t like it popped on UA-cam like that shit doesn’t come up here on German UA-cam unless you really search for that. Maybe your parents never gonna be open minded for that music but there’s gonna be a person that’s gonna listen to the same stuff you listen to for sure..
Love how openminded your grandma is. Whether it’s not her age of music, she still respect it, and that we don’t have alot of elders doing that. But i will definitely recommend - Revenge, Save Me and The Remedy For A Broken Heart. Love the reactions with X ! Keep it up.
I love how she approaches the music with a curious attitude. She doesn’t just jump and say, ohh new music sucks. She really takes time to listen and talk about the message of the song. W grandma
I would love to see her reaction to "cleaning out my closet" then "headlights" Those 2 songs have a lot of meaning and are very beautiful when you listen to them in that order. They tell the story of marshall and his mother's relationship over many years.
some songs by x: "guardian angel" (samples jocelyn flores and reverses it), "revenge", and "I spoke to the devil in miami, he said everything would be fine" this ones a super iconic song from him id love to see you guys react to it! keep the vids comin : )
Jocelyn Flores is about a girl who flew out to Florida to meet x back in 2017. He found out later by her family that she had committed suicide. He felt a lot of guilt and blamed himself for not noticing anything so wrote a song about it as a way to release his emotions and pay his respects to her and her family
I’m pretty sure x flew her out for an event, but something went wrong so he had to ask her to leave, then she was found dead the next morning, and x blamed himself for what happened
Man I never thought of getting my grandparents into my music but after this video I’ll see if I can get some x songs in their playlist 🙌💯 much love from nz
Very nice how you explained X’s background to her with pictures etc. it really helps someone understand the person they are listening to connect on an emotional level like other fans. Great job!
Great video and love all your grandma’s kind words. Would love to see her react to some other X songs, like Revenge, Depression & Obsession, Hope, and maybe a fun one like I Dont Even Speak Spanish lol
First we lost x in 2018 and juice wrld in 2019 and pnb rock in 2022 damnbro i cant belive these 3 legends are gone we love youguys rip ❤❤❤ btw stay safe ben
It would be interesting to make her listen to at least one X's song for each emotion like : King OR Pain=Bestfriend (because of their way of starting as a depressed song and turning into a kinda heavy metal song). Going down! OR $$$ (for their happy vibes) Infinity 888 (for the jazzy style and introducing her to Joey Bada$$) Look at me (I'm so curious to see your grandma's thoughts on his angry side) and even Looking for a star (because no other song has this vibe) Thanks for those videos with your grandma I love how she reacts and what she has to say about X and Juice!
I remember when i use to listen to his music all the time why playing games or working out but after he died anytime i listened to his music i started crying but now i dont cry i just feel sad when i listen to any of his songs. Edit: I would also like to note that I never really get sad or anything when listening to other artists that have passed like Juice Wrld or Pop Smoke just X.
ben I would recommend you and nanny to react to the story of jocelyn flores, it touches on a lot of topics that she had to endure in her life and what eventually led up to what happened.
@@benjamindahl yeah it was very emotional and interesting when I watched it for the first time. anyways keep doing what you’re doing man, these vids are 🔥
React to Juice Wrld Lean Wit Me. It's really a song that's stuck in my mind nowadays and I love grandma and how she deeply react to every single line of music.
The sad thing about Jocelyn is that she is from my hometown of Cleveland but lived in Brooklyn and went to school with my friend and you could never tell how sad and depressed she was 😢🥺
Hey man I just thought I'd make a suggestion for the videos. I love these and I love that you commonly react to the more deeper oriented music. Because I love that music. But I think you should try to share some upbeat more happier songs with her. For example, with Juice, a song like Man Of The Year. Or just anything in general. I'd like to see her get hype maybe even bust out some car dance moves. Aye man bless up for doing these w your grandma, I need to spend more time with family.
already dead, Im still, hear me calling, flaws and sins, maze, would all be great songs i feel they had his emotion and thoughts in them. Loving the videos watching everyone that comes out

same, my parents heard the bass at the start of lucid dreams which isn’t really a huge bass at all and said turn this shit off
