As someone who has been to sand lake dunes, this looks like soo much better of a camp spot than the traditional campground. Great video! More please! Hope to see ya on the trails!
What lift do you have on there? How'd you move your axle forward to fit the 40's. Having trouble figuring out what I need to do that. Great Video btw~!
Thank you. I have a 3" leveling kit up front and air bags in the rear. Adjustable lateral links to move axle forward and i have 2012 fender flares on my truck with fenders cut to match
You ent to the very end to camp not know that is the end of the one way trail. Everyone comes out at the top of the video at 11:06. Still going out there I have never seen anyone camp there.
Just a heads up, where you camped is a popular place for people to ride fast and speed by, not expecting a camp to be there. Next time somewhere in the trees across the open area there would be a better spot. I go there frequently and typically stay in the treeline to the left as you come off the parking lot. Many of the overland guys stay up on cell phone hill as well. Great views up there!
Thanks. It was a nice safe spot. We were visible from a distance, unlike the trees. This was the safest, most visible spot that was available at the time. It wasn't our number one spot for sure, but it worked well.
