  • Their first album with Metal Blade is going to be one for the books as 'Manual Manic Procedures' definitely puts 200 Stab Wounds atop the Death Metal pile. SUBSCRIBE: bit.ly/Subscrib...

Really digging this album. Death Metal done really well. With the tempo shifts, gallops and Melodies I think they’re the Iron Maiden of death metal. Great recommendation as always my friend. 🤘🏻

Very much enjoyed reviewing this one myself. Totally with comments about the songwriting and the different atmospheric elements. A very consistent album.

Exactly, I think consistent is a great word for it. Not absolutely bowl me over amazing but incredibly solid and one that I think really shows a lot of promise as to where the band are going to be able to go next.

That's the way to do modern death metal. This was a really fun listen! These dudes are highly creative with the riffs they write.

Exactly, I think that's the key isn't it. The words like fun, energetic, consistent - they're all making that sort of sound and definitely reminded me of Cannibal Corpse and that sort of vibe that they give off you know? Just a fucking great band.

You know what, that really means a lot because I am always toying with the idea of should I keep them short, change them to being longer? At the end of the day it’s just a quick thing isn’t it. I like to make it the length of how long it might be to have a cigarette or something like that. So thanks for letting me know! And glad that you enjoyed the video too :)

Hell yeah! I think that with this one it just gets better with each listen. Such a great band and just completely full of energy as well. There's just so much going on with them that I absolutely love. Really excited to see what the future holds for them and when they're back in the UK later this year too!

@@TheMetalTris same here seen them in March here in Ireland supporting Cattle Decap & coming back in autumn with Enforced & Gatecreeper, what a line up 🔥🔥🤘🔥🔥

@@iamnotanumber100 Oh no way! They were on fire with them weren't they?! That was the first time that I had seen them as well. Not many people could give Cattle a run for their money - although they are very different bands of course. Enforced and Gatecreeper is a fantastic line up isn't it! I'm excited for that one for sure!

I genuinely enjoyed Manual, Manic, Procedures upon first listen. Hands of Eternity was a great single, and had m excited to give this album my full attention. It may not be my favourite album of the year, but it was a really fun listen, and I can only imagine how incredible their live shows must be!

    • @TheMetalTris

Exactly man, I think that for me, it's probably one of my most listened to records when I don't know what to listen to. Which weirdly makes them one of my most listened to bands haha! Similar to Necrot really, that album has really, really been notching up the listens. I'm going to try and do AOTY so far style video today and have all of these in there.
There's so much more to come as well though, it's going to be a good one!

@@TheMetalTris A mid-year AOTY list would be awesome, and challenge accepted sir! I will have to go through my extensive list of albums and add my favourites thus far to the comments when that video is up.

Great album. Got me excited about DM again. Listening to Death Metal since highschool in the early 90s, it got pretty stale over the years but this band is great!!

That's awesome! I have to say that I really have loved Death Metal for quite some time now but this is definitely a shining light. Bands like Undeath / 200 Stab Wounds / Gatecreeper / Celestial Sanctuary / Upon Stone / Blood Incantation / Necrot, they're all elevating Death Metal but in a newer way which I find so sick.

Hi Tris, ChatGPT suggested you when I asked for channels that do reviews of unknown metal artists (unsigned). Do you take suggestions? I'm nearly homeless, but I can pay you if you need to charge of course. This is my only hope at spreading the word, and there has never been anyone who didn't like my music (even people who don't like heavy/noisy music). I hope you get this message and we can work something out. Thank you. 🙏

Hey there my friend! In all honesty, I do try and do requests when I can but I am just so busy with my day job and life, the universe and everything that I very often don't like to say that I can do something and then not deliver on it.
That being said though, I would love to give your music a listen! Send me through a link and I would love to hear it :) - thank you for reaching out and I hope that you're OK x

@@TheMetalTris Thanks Tris! This is my music channel here that I'm using to comment. I didn't know I could leave links in youtube comments, but I'll comment again with the link.
I have multiple projects with my guitar performances but Grarphyre is most relevant here. It is electronic metal meticulously crafted (no presets/everything from scratch/amplification designed by me/virtual instruments) dual bass guitars often pitch shifted an octave lower to go beyond heavy. You've definitely never heard anything like it before 🤘🏼.
I appreciate you just listening very much! If youtube deletes my comment, then, again, my music is here on this channel that I'm commenting with. Thank You! ❤
