The images are from the RPM- Rheinland & PdLZ map. That doesn't mean that they put it in SCS. You are combining pieces of SCS and implementing images from a Map Mod. You are not giving real information about the game.
A working tachograph with drivers card would do for me, where you have to take a 45 minute break and change it to other work when loading or unloading ect
I absurdly disagree with people saying Bus/ cars or mini delivery trucks will ruin the game. The game base has a lot of potential to get expanded. The base game already has plenty Bus Stops on each city. Not to mention functional parking slots for Bus, cars or trucks, which you can actually park and admire the scenery. Not many other games does it so well as SCS. Sure, its simple? Yes, but thats the essence of the game. This is not a Hardcore sim and there's no need to become it to continue being fun. The essence of SCS games is being friendly casual yet good enough for hardcore/ pro sim users. The map, the scenery, and even the ingame Mechanics will need a slight improvement to allow more things to be done. The game has lot more potential than people think. Buying houses, hiring drivers to taxi your dekivie deliveries inside the cities for small jobs, buying bus stations and making it as your own side company besides a truck delivery for long trips. The game has a lot that can be done without losing what it is now. It can still keep being Truck Simulator as main goal, with extra side quests.
Coolest game ever....but a lover of trucks since the womb, been a driver since birth. Won't hurt to have these realistic features and even more in the game. Since o can't have a truck of my own now, ETS2 has been the best thing i have....keeps me awake for days.
We need more interior functions like an air conditioner, opening doors, sun visor and animation TV and many more, exterior we need tyer puncture and you can even change to put a spare tire, open trailer doors, opening cabins and many more
Coupling and uncoupling trailers is a big part of truck driving but all we do is press a button. Better to have to walk around the trailer applying the brakes, lowering the legs disconnecting the airlines, pulling the kingpin, etc. This is a truck driving game first and foremost so I'd like to see more realism in that regard first. Tricky junctions, getting stuck, awkward loading bays, etc. Also, something to spend all my money on. I've got over 100M with nothing left to buy. Farms are a start, i suppose. Large industrial spaces for storage of trucks and trailers?
How about been able to buy a house instead of just garage house that are animated fixture, active animated in game buildings, ai trucks picking up and dropping off goods as player do
But you are not the only one that plays the game lol. Plus if you want to drive both then you don’t have to switch games, just vehicle. Not really much difference between them anyways just one is people other it’s goods.
@@stephenmartin5766 If you start trying to make a game a sandbox game for everyone the quality of each sub genre will diminish. This game has stood the test of time and remained popular as a truck driving game alone.
Strongly disagree. As long as its not mandatory buy a bus or a truck, i think its perfectly fine giving the players more room to variety of what they want to work with. Either bus or trucks, the game works fine and Just need Small adjustments to implement these new mechanics.
@@Vinosdrivingdiary We don't even have multi-drop for trucks let alone driving bus routes. As for private hires how's that going to work? It's more involved than delivering goods to one location. There's nearly always a return journey several hours later and usually the driver has to go and do other work in between. SCS has always kept the workload super simple; one job at a time avoiding giving several jobs one after another, and within the same work day. In the real world it gets complicated very quickly.
We don't need no Farming or Bus driving in ETS2..We need a new economy system with more realism and new (legit working) damage and maintenance system..Game is faar away from finished to think about such things..You need to fix the trucking things in the game..For example the super easy economy, the garbage damage and wear system,to add maintenance, tachograph, and other small features that EU trucks had had for more than a decade now..(For example the Eco-roll function)..In the future you can add a real time weather function and seasons...Because it is not realistic at all to be driving around Norway in the middle of the Winter and the weather is like 25 degrees and Sunny😂😂Another thing i would like to say about the "New" "Damage and repair system"..It is complete garbage and doesn't make sense at all..I bought a used truck and it had like 25% engine damage and 20% chassis damage..I fixed the Engine to 0% with the money i had but the Engine kept on shutting down on the road because of the 20% damage on the chassis😂😂Despite the fact that the Engine itself was at 0% damage..Also you can make the exploatation of the vehicles more realistic..For example if you don't warm up your engine it will wear down certain parts faster,if you rev it too much,if you use more harsh braking it will wear down the brake pads and discs faster,etc..Also you could add a feature where you are supposed to check fluid levels on your truck (Oil,Coolant,Hydraulic Fluid)..Realistic engine operations (Slower warm up in cold weather,Faster warm up in hot weather),flexible engine operating temperature (depending on the engine load) for example when climbing a hill the engine can get hot..There is a lot more that can be done/added to the game..Sadly in the last couple years SCS are more focused on making DLCs and earning money than listening to what players want..I don't know about the other people but i would be very happy if the Map Scale was bigger, because that would make it possible for a more detailed maps..And more realism..Because right now if you start accelerating from 0 by the time you reach 90 you have already passed 10-15kms..And on a road with more traffic lights or turns it gets quite annoying because you have just picked up some speed and you have to slow down/stop because of a traffic light or a turn..
thats a massive complication you dont understand you cant change the name of a game once its out there it would mean not owning ETS2 so you would have to buy all again is that what you want?
as much as im a pc player i think now with consoles being a big upgrade to years ago they could handle this game and i think SCS are missing out big for a console release money wise even if its not crossplay many console players would buy this game as there is nothing on console like it it would be a massive injection of cash for SCS just my thoughts also why havent they added there own servers like TMP i really think SCS are missing out like a trucksbook app they rely on mods way to much i think this game could double or triple in players if they set there minds to it injection of cash injection of staff
Finallly wie need a Option to spend more Money from us Like its Not normal that you have over 10 mio € and the Money doesn‘t get lower no you get more and more Money and that is the Point that the Game gets bored fast… also the Economy is another Problem that Must be fix it as soon as possible !!!
😂 Most important thing is a new game engine and improved graphics, refined shading because what's there now is flimsy, shading of vehicles on roadway because now vehicles pretend to be hoverboards, opening truck doors, getting out and moving freely, driver's hands on wheel, seasons, knocking out driver's assistant and putting all information into GPS, radio (date display, equalizer, displaying the currently playing station or song). That's a start, but question is whether SCS can do it, if they haven't managed to do it for 16 years?
@@yan71ck8 I know it's not Unreal but wouldn't it be cool to have a Truck Sim with actual good graphics like "The Bus" or something. I've been playing this game for so long now and I'm somewhat fed up with the graphics.

Sometimes, at border checkpoints, shipments are rejected as unsuitable, so I wish I could get a portion of the money and have the shipment stopped.
As a bus/coach driver for the last 27 years I don't need that in this game. There are other sims that do that anyway.

Yes there are other games,, but the Ets2 map is unique and ets is running into VR, then it's the only game that could give this immersion.
I'd love if ETS had other company garages about. Seems only our garages exist
I think you should keep it trucking, role playing cool love that development

All good stuff but surely a rework on graphics I think that most of us want tbh.
