Season 4 had its downsides but Major and Liv being on opposite sides but being able to understand why both were doing what they were doing was really great writing-wise.
I agree it was great writing. But I really resented how they change Liv’s character so drastically and made being a zombie almost a goal or a good thing. For nearly 3 seasons, the focus was the cure. And now we have live actively infecting people. Even if you ignore the extra backstory on there stuck in a confined space, and every new zombie is a potential danger to the few people stuck there with them. This was a dramatic change from the character that I did not appreciate.
