- Here are 5 trains from 2 different days in Glendale. I went over there last Wednesday the 12th to take my buddy Mikel a birthday present before he and his family went on vacation. I got him a Kansas City Southern T-shirt. I was also there with @AdventureswithJoeyBoats and @CINOzzieTV hoping to get some action on the tracks. The first 3 trains in this video are from the 12th and the last 2 are the first 2 from this past Monday when I hooked up with @AdventureswithJoeyBoats and Buckeye Freight Railin` @GY51360 The rest will be coming on Saturday because I will be in West Virgini on Friday with @JawTooth and @AdventureswithJoeyBoats getting action there!

A lot of tonnage sure goes thru that small town!
I have heard this is the highest tonnage section of track in the CSX system. I don`t know if that is true or not, but a lot of trains from both railroads use it.

Hi Bill, no I do not. I really haven`t seen the need for one because unless you can get a straight on shot at the train, they aren`t accurate. If the crew sees you pointing something that appears to be a gun at them, they will call in on you too. I know someone that has happened to.

Good average length intermodal followed by a short mixed manifest. The manifest had a beautiful new blue box car with no graffiti. Can you believe it?!!! 😅😅😅😅❤❤❤❤
Yes, there are still some new cars running around that haven`t been tagged, but it`s only a matter of time unfortunately before the knuckleheads get them.

Great evening/morning Glendale action. The EOT DPU was a pleasant bonus. Yeah, probably cutting the grass for me too. Rain in the forecast starting tonight thru the weekend so today's the day to do it. Great video, liked it a lot. Thanks Scott!

Wonderful mixture of cars. Just curious how long do locomotives and cars life span is. Are they judged on mileage, age on tracks , rust, engine efficiency. Many thanks.
The locomotives can be rebuilt many times with newer diesel engines and other components. The "SpongeBob" locomotives are Dash 3 models which means they are on their third rebuild. Some of those guys were originally built in the late 60s early 70s! The cars I think have a lifespan of 20 to 30 years before they have to be taken out of service. It may be longer than that, but I honestly don`t know.
With a rebuild cars can be used in interchange service up to 50 years. Maintenance cars or cars used in captive service on one line may last longer.
