I did this and kept the wrinkles by adding cuticle oil to the tin foil before crumpling... All tin foil came off... Then I painted the underneath with a glass gel polish for a frozen ice Queen look... I will definitely be trying it out leaving the Tin foil on... X great vid Kirsty. . X
That sounds amazing. If I had a lot of money and could stand to be touched that much, I’d so get my nails done every other week with awesome, subtle designs like that. Crazy colors aren’t so much my thing, but the subtle, metallic, and/or frosted glass looks would be amazing.
I absolutely love love love all your nails 😍 I rarely go to get my nails done because nail technicians don't care as much as you do.... So I have short natural nails 24/7 🙄
Kirsty, I love you so much! Your videos keep me from doing boring things like housework, etc. I do have to tell you that I love your shirt, yet it reminds me of a bad acid trip for some reason.
That is a really WOW nail! That's a nail I would give a client who was about to get married in 'Vegas, or anywhere in Nevada. (Lots of Californians go to Vegas, Tahoe or Reno to get married. Even me, my mother and my grandmother!) I love how that nail turned out, but I don't know if I could wear it without filling the inside "wrinkles" with acrylic. I'd wait until after cleaning/brushing to remove the excess aluminum, of course, and then I'd use a really wet bead of acrylic and just sink it into the low points. I can't stand when the undersides of my nails aren't smooth. It makes me neurotically pick at them until I pick it, or break it, off! I know I'd be picking at them with my nails, nail tools. and I'd even go so far as to use a toothpick, which I would, of course, break the tip off in the nooks and crannies! I can live with thicker tips a lot easier than I can live with rough tips.
Beyoutiful 🤗😍❣️ I did this technique couple of months ago and it’s very fun to do and looks very beautiful!!! Kirsty thanks for always teaching us more and perfecting these awesome techniques 🙏💅🏽🤗❣️
I have been binge watching your videos. Holy crap you are an amazing artist!!!! I honestly had no idea all the possibilities of styles for nails. Crazy! I am a super huge fan. Xox from Saskatoon in Canada
Fab video tfs I’m gonna give this a go but using gel and scrunch up cellophane wrap then take it off n put silver foil then cap hope it works time to experiment 😊😊😊😊
How beautiful is that? And why in the bloody hell is it that as soon as I have a new set on you come out with something where I think, shit if I had just waited till tomorrow! How would you do this one handed? Would tape or glue actually work? Also, that ice cream cone in the intro always makes me want some.
I think I'd try it with double-sided tape, and only resort to glue if the tape didn't work. And if I did have to resort to glue, I'd put the glue on the form, and then the wrinkled foil.
I would just tape the excess foil to the nail form I'd probably use masking tape and tape the sides up the finger a little fir shape and support. Or if you use a bigger piece, wrap it around the bottom of the form like a cylinder. Or just stabilize it with your other fingers, once you get a bit of acrylic on the foil and the natural nail, it will anchor it in place.
Do the Brits usually keep them straight like this? I usually see women in the states with long nails that have a downward curve to them... I'm learning so much thank you for sharing your talent!
I was tryin to figure out why it was lookin pink and then i realized it’s Kirsty’s jumper/sweater reflecting off the foil making the cracked mirror look pink. Lol looks awesome!
I have a nail design request as i have a polygel kit coming. Ive seen your dual form videos woth acrylic! I love your creativity. Unfortunetly i have an infant so i can't use acrylic because of the fumes but i love the efficiancy of the dual forms. Anyway i was thinking maybe doing a nail with a clear layer down first, then placing gold seashells face down with some blue chunky glitter sandwiched between a final layer of baige or maybe pink for a base color. Also want to know if stones are too thick to put inside
Hi my name is omayra i know this video is from a year ago but i've been whatchin your videos for a few months and my personal opinion you are the best you really have art and you really know what are u doing you can do everything you are the beast in a good way!!!!
You need to come out with an acrylic brush/ nail art brush set. Those are the only thing I did not see on your site. Though I bought waaaaay too many things, I did not find a brush or set of any sort. I would love to see that! 😘 You'd make such pretty brushes, and I'd be proud to use them! 😉
Absolutely beautiful! I LIVE for long clear bling nails 😍💅🏾
Beautiful, the best Cracked Ice, Shattered Mirror nail design ever.
Scrumple in the dictionary is to crumple or crush something, especially paper or cloth. You got it right girl!!
I did this and kept the wrinkles by adding cuticle oil to the tin foil before crumpling... All tin foil came off... Then I painted the underneath with a glass gel polish for a frozen ice Queen look... I will definitely be trying it out leaving the Tin foil on... X great vid Kirsty. . X
