    Can you suggest ampere required for 16mm mild steel piercing

      16mm is the equivalent to 5/8” here in the states. I cut that with 105 amps using a Hypertherm 105. It’ll cut up to 1-1/4” thick steel (30mm)

    HyperTherm is kinda ass. Air plasma is on the account of the electrode.
    I've ran a Hypermax 105 for years, then went to a Kjellberg and everything is on the millimtere for once.
