      Agreed, this is the only tutorial/lesson-based channel I'll watch. All the other teaching channels want you to be robotic & have the exact same swing as everyone else. I absolutely love how you guys put so much emphasis on functionality, using the ground, & using athleticism - nothing compares as far as being able to "get the feel" of your own golf swing. Thank y'all so much for such great content, back into the Zen Golf days & beyond! 💙✌️⛳️

    I love this technique it really does make the golf swing way easier. The only thing I’m not quite getting is how when you have a splayed out lead foot you move it to the internal rotated 1 o clock position on the downswing to get the spring effect mentioned ?

    Man Marcus this is one of your best. I purchased a GRF board and have been working on it. This puts it together. I’m 74 and both knees replaced. Trying to find as much spring as I can. Keep it up brother 👍⛳️🏌️‍♂️

    The infinity symbol absolutely represents what I'm feeling with my centre of mass when I'm swinging well. I've recently bought the GRF infinity board too and the instructional videos and exercises are excellent and eye opening. Enjoying the journey!

    Hi Marcus and Team. you have transformed my golf to another level. I am 62 yrs and I have gone from a lower hitter to a medium to long hitter on all my clubs. I was lacking rhyme and timing. I am out driving my club friends and it feels great. I must admit that I have been playing for around 7 yrs and I started off developing a passive release, which I cannot change but your methods as improved my swing massively. your methods do work for a passive swing golfer, well it does for me. Cannot get consistent with a roll release sorry. You have one of the best UA-cam channels on line. Thank You some much for sharing your methods. Ps I have purchased a GRF board. Top quality. well done.

    Man you're hitting the nail on the head for me with this. For the life of me I couldn't figure out how to include straightening the lead leg in my swing or better yet the pressure control with the feet. Good stuff! Appreciate the effort

    Found this channel thanks to my realization that I’ve been hitting so low on the club face for so long I’m surprised I haven’t given up already. But this video was a light bulb moment for me, really and truly thankful. Looking forward to getting out to play tomorrow and doing this in my warm up

    I wonder about the back leg jump. Force platform work suggests this is not the case in elite golfers with high club head speed. but maybe I am wrong.

    The lead toe pointing inward whilst unloading might be why I have so much more power than I thought I would - possibly the only benefit of being pigeon-toed! 😂😂

    In a regular swing, do you recommend setting up with the lead foot at 1:00, or set up foot flared and let it rotate back?

    Marcus , On further review , I don't notice in the slow motion swing any of your right side foot moving around the perimeter. I am thinking I over do it , I actually feel weight moving out
    and around the right foot. I see you more moving inside the right foot and around to the left side from behind.. Actually ones weight shift happen behind . Is going too much outside the right
    foot ankle not the way you want ? Need clarity on this . Double Cheers and Welcome to USA .

    During the slo mo at 13:15 it looks like his arms start moving before his legs "pop". I thought the "pop" happens before the arms start moving or did i misunderstand.

    • @GRFGolf
      @GRFGolf 11 місяців тому +1

      Arms will react and be pulled naturally as the torso rotates. As you change direction into your downswing your arms will still naturally (no holding of lag!) swing a little as you drop but accelerate later reacting to your push off.

    When I watch very powerful shots by good players, why don't I see all of these movements, i.e. pressure shift, a big lateral move, the pop and the drop? I'm not questioning the logic of this lesson but wondering why there movements are so smooth

    • @GRFGolf
      @GRFGolf 9 місяців тому

      They are all there in different forms, combinations etc, just subtle.

  • @danielcary1422
    @danielcary1422 9 місяців тому +1

    These types of movements are game changers. When you’re able to swing your club dynamically using ground force’s you feel like an athlete. All this P1-P6 bs rotate around your spine is hogwash. Learn how to use the ground in your swing and your path and plane will follow. I went from hitting my 7 iron 170 if I flushed it to 190. I feel like im putting in half the effort too.

    Its weird man. Any time I try to add in ground force I chunk shots worse than you ever saw…. I guess I must be dumping out and releasing early or something but my body just doesnt understand it and I try not to add anything that feels unnatural to my swing. I think I just need a lesson with a good ground force teacher
