My first flight was by myself. I got on the plain and stayed silent. There wasn't anyone in the set beside me, so when we started going through a storm, I was gripping the seat and trying to breathe. This man walks up and sits beside me. He sat down and told me everything was okay and we would be through the storm soon. He was air marshal, and he has flown through plenty of storms . ( i didn't even know they had air marshals and why he was in regular clothes. Duh, i figured it out later. Lol) He knows the pilot personally, and he is an excellent pilot. He just sat with me and kept me in a conversation, and before I knew it, we were landing. I was 19, and I looked young for my age, and I'm only 4'9. Lol. He made sure I knew where to go and congratulated me on becoming an aunt. I love flying now.
My first flight the take off was difficult and even though it was a low budget plane they moved me to the front and a really kind attendant held my hand. I’ve never had this type of experience on a regular flight and since I flew Air Canada I will never fly regular again.
@Virgomamatoacapricorn I bet. Thankfully, I've only been on big planes. I've never been out of the country. I hope to at some point, and Canada is on my list. I'm glad someone was there for you. That was very kind.
This is why I am paranoid about drinking... I don't ever want to look like this. I know it sucked to wear masks, but honestly... this is just not the way to go. Either way, I would always recommend people to always wears masks in a plane. All you need is an asshole who got sick, still took the plane and sneezes everywhere, guess where it goes? the air conditioner that everyone on the plane breathes.
The mere fact that a person is using headphones does not mean the music cannot be loud enough to disturb other people. If that was the case in this particular incident, we have to guess, the woman could no doubt have approached it more politely.
I agree with you. It was her disdain at the man whom she did not think belonged in first class as well as the fact that she never asked politely that put her in the wrong. She demanded 2-3 times then, finally, with snark, said "Please."
Yup, I agree. I've been to a situations when I had to switch seats because someone's headphones where going so loud that I couldn't focus on my book. I wouldn't make it for 4 hours in the train next to that person. People should be more considerate of other people on public transport, I think
My seat neighbor once had a really loud youtube video despite her earphones. I gave her a minute to realize on her own, then I asked nicely. She apologized, said she thought her earphone was broken, and put it all away. We even had a lovely conversation later. Give nice a chance. It will make everyone's experience better.
Once the police are talking to you, there is nothing you can say that will keep you on the plane. Discussion is over. You might as well get up and leave. The police are not going to say, "well she has some good points, I guess we'll let him/her stay."
So true I was on a flight today and the guy in front of me must have thought that the cops were there to mediate a discussion... no dude they were there to get your butt off the plane, flight attendants and by extension the pilot don't take kindly to being threatened
She was on some pills. They act similar to drunks, but you can always tell a pill popper because they're not as floppy and they change emotions like every time they blink.
I had a little bit of sympathy for the older “first class” lady at first - even with headphones, loud music can be noise pollution in an otherwise quiet environment. But she was sooooooo entitled and grumpy about it! Just ask nicely!
I agree. I have been in situations on the bus where someone was listening to music with headphones and the musics was loud enough that it was bothering many of the other passengers. That being said, I think the lady handled the situation poorly.
Not only that, but tinnitus is a real thing. When I was young I thought my hearing was untouchable. I would blare my music so loud that other people could hear through my headphones. 27 was when the tinnitus started and it hasn’t stopped since. For his own sanity, he should turn it down
10:57 Props to the older gent seeing how physical angry man was getting and showing there was more than just a corporate lady to intimidate. I was subconsciously recoiling from his aggressive body movements.
The flight attendant with “Lauren” was doing everything he could to de-escalate and move her to the front (and then off) without incident. Props to him.
The comment that she didn't use her luggage bin on the flight is ridiculous. I can't tell you how many times I have attempted to use the bin over my seat only to find it full. Just sayin'. Now "Lauren" was ridiculous.
He really did a great job De-escalating… I was. 911 dispatcher and was taught how to de-escalate (so we can find out the emergency) and he was just amazing. You can tell he’s had years of practice doing just this, I wouldn’t have the patience or stamina to be a flight attendant ❤ props for all of you guys who are ❤
Pretty sure that was a bit more than „just“ alcohol tho. I mean I haven‘t got that much experience with drugs (pretty much none tbf) but she seemed almost clinically unstable, like you‘d only see on documentaries about drug addicts. Drunk people generally stick to one or two emotions and are more slow and slurred than hectic in my experience
I remember feeling like a Karen at an airplane once. A mother and her child were sitting right behind me,more specifically the child did, and that annoying brat just would not stop hitting and shoving against my seat. So I asked him to stop that please, and his mother apologised before the child could even react. „I am sorry, I can’t control him.“ was her response to her child’s action. (I will forever remember that). Maybe he would stop eventually. He did not and maybe, allegedly, I told him that I would lock him into the board toilet. And maybe, allegedly it worked.
Just one example of why parenting classes should be mandatory. The 'oh, you'll get the hang of it' approach doesn't work. Parenting is a skill & being taught by an expert is important. Not everyone is fortune enough to have great parents (or to have them around & able to learn from).
When this happened to me after 2 hours of a kid kicking my seat, I just pushed my decline back as gast as possible onto his kicking leg.....his dad swapped seats with the kid, no more kicking, didn't even have to talk to him the ignorant cunt
I'm glad you somewhat understand. As a mother of a child with SPD and ADD, it is very hard to emotionally regulate, let alone reason with toddlers who aren't old enough to comprehend how to 'behave'. The society is less forgiving which results in PPD and other mental illnesses commonly in mothers. You can not expect perfection. As a mother, I beg you, please consider our child as your own and show a bit of kindness. You helping that mom out was very sweet and exactly the help she required.
Just because you're using headphones doesn't mean you aren't annoying others with your music. I recall a few times when I was listening to headphones and someone heading for hearing problems came along with headphones. Their music was drowning mine out.
He also kept encouraging the dialog. There were quite a few times she went back to her newspaper and he started with his questioning all over again. It seemed like he was enjoying this.
True. I've sat next to people whose headphones were so loud I could hear the music as clearly as if they were using normal speakers. I'm pretty good at tuning stuff like that out though, so it would have to be really bad before I'd say something about it. And even then, I ask nicely. I find that in general, being nice makes people more likely to comply.
The best way I have heard to handle unruly passengers on a plane before a flight was to tell the person they were going to upgrade the person to business or first class but they have to make the switch by doing the paperwork for the switch at the booth at the front end of the ramp. As soon as the person leaves the plane either escort them up the ramp or shut the doors as soon as they leave the plane.
I will say tho, during my time using public transportation one of the most annoying things to me was hearing someone else's music through their headphones/earplugs. It annoyed the sh*t out of me and I could litterally not concentrate. Using my own earplugs (if I had them with me) did help but nobody should have their music THAT loud. I always checked if my music is not leaking through out of respect. Once I had this dude sitting in front of me listening to a "song" where every 5 seconds a gunshot was fired throughout the whole song. Idk how many dB was going through his earplugs, but it was a lot!
That’s loud. Yes I used to take public transport too. It is annoying, but honestly, if it it bothered me, I’d move. If they want hearing damage, that’s on them. Lol
Oh, for sure! Almost always a polite 'excuse me, your music is so loud that I can hear it all the way over here, would you mind turning it down' solved the issue though... Train lady's issue wasn't that she didn't have a point, it was that she was unnecessarily rude about it 😅
Yeah, we all know damn well there are people that blast their headphones loud enough for everyone else to hear. And with it that loud, how are you gonna quietly tell them to turn it down?
I had a similar situation as in the train, this boy had his music turned up so loud that we all heard it. I didn't mind but an older lady was concerned about it, not just for his ears but also because it was the silent coupe and people would get mad (they do..). She was too scared to ask to turn it down though... So I did.. turned out his earbuds weren't plugged in🤣 the boy looked very grumpy so I understand her being scared. He apologised and we laughed about it. Took 2 minutes...
@@niclewis9731 Do you know how to listen? See? Acknowledge? They had headphones and were using them. Your comment makes no sense, and only shows your lack of respect and intelligence.
I think I remember that the woman on the plane in the beginning wasn't drunk but on drugs. They found out later and it explained her irratic behaviour and not really understanding what they wanted from her.
I empathize, slightly, with the woman on the train. I can still hear it when someone is using headphones. They only cancel out what else is going on around the person using them. There is no way to block the other people from hearing what he's listening to. But, she was rude about how she approached him.
I absolutely agree and commented something similar! Headphones (depending on the brand) can have the music bleeding through so others can hear. I've had it happen to myself a couple times 😂 where people have asked me, very nicely if I can turn down my music because it was leaking through. And I immediately apologized and turned it down. I didn't even know they were leaking the music so badly but when I realized I bought a new pair of headphones 😂😂 The way she went about asking him to turn down his music was so wrong and unnecessary. The entire interaction was unnecessary 😂 if she was polite in the very beginning this entire back and forth wouldn't have happened lol
@@SilverGhxst True, but that could have been because he automatically went to the 'Im going to record you' route. I understand people recording the people on the plane. If that turns bad that evidence is necessary. But why are you going to record somebody just for having an argument over headphones? She wasn't attacking him physically.
So you have a problem with low volume music leaking out from headphones? I guess you also have problems with passengers talking with one another as I guarantee they would be louder than the music. If you require total silence then don’t take public transportation.
@@jpbaley2016 This is a vast reach and an overreaction. They said none of those things. They said they empathize. Personally, I don't like low level noise. And people talking can get irritating sometimes. But I also know it happens and I cope. Because that's what people in public places do. I hope you enjoyed your attention.
@@msinformation91 I can also understand that. I personally don't understand why people feel the need to record everything 🤷♀️ like I said I've had this happen to me and I never grabbed my phone to record I just apologized and turned down my music. So I can absolutely agree with you there
3:50 Tbf I know more than one happening in public transport when people were using headphones and I heard their music ... through my headphones. If you're blasting BTS or Slipknot into your eardrum to the point YOU can't hear anything then odds are everybody around you hears you.
"Do you even have a first class ticket?" This reminds me of when I was a teenager and the only seat available on the train was a first class ticket so I bought that. The train instructer came and stood with my ticket in his hand and asked me: "You're aware this is a first class seat, right?" I told him it said so on my ticket as well. That's when he decided to actually look at it. He just assumed a metalhead teenager had placed themselves there by accident or to be annoying or something.
FACT: Every time I was upgraded to First Class on a flight, the FAs always gave me better service than towards most others in the cabin simply because I always acknowledged them with a "please" or "thank you".
My cousin learned that first hand when she was working in a 24-hour diner. A customer came in in well-worn, dirty overalls and other clothes. She served him his order, but when she brought him his tab, he gave her a personal check. She was thinking that it was a bad check, so she asked our aunt, who also worked there, if she thought the check was good. That's when she was told that the man was the president of a local bank who also owned a farm and a large ranch, and had more money than almost anyone else in our town. He had just come in from working his ranch, which explained his dirty clothes.
@@jacklow9611 A guy at a dealership told me a similar story about this dude in dirty clothes who looked like he hadn't shaved or even bathed recently kept coming into the dealership and a new salesman went up to him and asked if he could help him. "No, just looking." This went on for a while until one day, the new car salesman found the guy in the employee break room so the salesman said "Um, I don't think you are supposed to be in here." The more seasoned salesmen were cracking up and the newer guy was befuddled until one of them said yeah, the dude literally owns the place.
I saw information on the woman who was refusing to get off the aircraft. Unsurprisingly, she struggles with substance abuse and other mental health conditions. I hope she got the help she needed and is doing well.
@Raimey Ewens I think so. If I remember correctly, she was off her meds for bipolar disorder--or not taking them properly, and she was using alcohol, meth, and other substances.
To be fair the woman complaining about how loud the guy's music was, We have been driving down the highway in a minivan with the teenager in the very back with the headphones on so loud the whole car can hear and we will all just start singing along to the song to let her know they're too loud. Like those things get real loud and if you're used to listening at that volume it might not feel that way to you but everyone else can hear it.
yep, i thought the same too, sometimes those headphones just leak, its not really that tight to keep the volume. And as someone who listens to music at minimum 60% volume, i can relate to what youre saying, coz in some places i have to make sure that people cant hear my music, coz my taste of music and my volume is kinda.....blasting 😅😅😅😅 maybe you cant hear the full music, it will just like mumblings, but some people cant handle that kind of background noise for a long time, so yea, i can understand the lady
As someone who literally uses UK transport daily, I can also confirm. There are loads of people not using headphones at all, too (not that I ever go 1st class lol), but that's why I end up turning up my stuff (trust me I don't want my stuff as loud as I have it, either, but as an autistic person, public transport is ridiculously overstimulating). To me, I've been in more situations where the headphones were so loud I could hear over *my* music in my headphones, so like...I'm not saying who is right but I've experienced this even with noise-canceling headphones that I'm playing my music through.
I almost got kicked off of a plane once because the flight attendants weren’t familiar with their corporate policy. I had my guinea pigs with me because I confirmed with corporate before booking my flight that I could bring them with me in the cabin. The flight attendants held the flight up for about 5 minutes only to find out after they called corporate that I was allowed to fly
The train lady was still wrong in her approach but I’ve had a lady ask me to turn my music down on a train before. I had beats on and at full blast, i wasnt thinking about how loud and clear it is to everyone else too. It almost sound like you are playing music aloud 😂
I love that even a stressful video like this one, where people are just being garbage humans, Charlotte can still make it light hearted and funny. I love this whole community we have. It’s such a wholesome tater tot casserole of a community.
@@trennahs4322 yes!!!! Welcome bestie!!!! We love new tots! Now you get to binge all the wholesomeness that is Charlotte. Like, people know not call between 11-12 because I’m spending my morning with my online friends. I cannot go a day without it. Lol someone once said can’t start my day without Dobre; and I’ve been using it ever since. Lol
When my husband and I were in Europe, he’s a metal head, and looks like it but we make decent money. We bought the best tickets we could get for everything we went to because we knew we’d only get one trip like this. You should have seen how many people checked our tickets while we were there 😂😂😂
We live in England, and my husband and I are both MetalHeads. We went to Vivienne Westwood for a bag I wanted and had so many funny looks. My favourite has to be still going to Selfridge's for a pair of Alexander McQueen sandals and literally getting followed around the whole shop as I decided to browse. The Liverpool accent doesn't help either. People judge so much. 🤟
I used Uber for the first time a few weeks ago. Yes, I am an old. You are a guest in that driver's car. Behave accordingly. Also, I am not from the city in which my daughter and I were getting these rides - the drivers are! We were able to see some really cool things and eat at some really awesome, not known by all restaurants. The drivers we had seemed super excited to share their city with us! I was grateful, and we were fortunate to have experiences that not everyone gets to have. Kindness costs nothing. ❤
right? it's like people forget that when you order an uber, that driver is still a person, and you are in THEIR car. That's not your car, and they're not your servant. you can't just do whatever you want.
Anytime I catch a lyft to get to or from work, I try to let the drivers know if there’s potholes, or construction or a better route. With one, his GPS was telling him, “Turn west on Warren.” I piped up, “Actually, you should take Harvard. Warren’s all ripped up at Wolff. Harvard is clear all the way to Zenobia.” He listened to the GPS. Seeing the road quite literally torn open to replace a water line, the driver sighs, “I really should listen to the people who live in these neighborhoods. How do I get to Harvard from here?” Or, “Sixth is backed up with a ton of traffic.” “If you turn south on McIntyre or Moss, that’ll put you on the County Road. It’s clear and a lot faster.” “…woah. There’s no one on this road. I’ll use it more often, thanks!”
The train one doesn't scream Karen so much to me. Yes, she was a little snooty, but it appeared like she just wanted to get back to reading her paper. Over and over she turns back to reading and he keeps reengaging her. He definitely had many chances to just let it go.
To me he seemed to be fishing to make such a video. It's also not the first time she has asked him, can tell from the start of the video where he's asking "what do you mean I can't listen to my music". Highly likely that she has asked him multiple times to just turn it down and he's pushing the conversation to get a video. And she probably started with please and was rejected rudely.
Reminds me of this guy walking downstairs making a tick tock. A lady was walking up, a very narrow set of stairs on the hillside, and let him know that everybody needs to use the stairs and if he could move over or not film there that would be appreciated. Everybody started a man hunt for her because they called her a racist Karen. He was literally making a tick tock on stairs less than 2 ft wide.
This made me remember the time the fly attendant looked at me and when she stopped at my side I wanted to cry so bad, it was my first time flying alone and I suffered social anxiety disorder (I didn’t knew at the time) I just happened to be seated next to an older men that wanted me to change seats to allow his wife to be with him. I didn’t mind at all and everything went okay
Just because he wears earphones doesn’t mean that people around him cannot hear his music and be annoyed by it. I guess he is blasting his ear drums or has earphones that leak a lot of sound. I often check if you can hear anything from my headphones when I am on public transport. But this woman goes all the wrong way about it, giving him this snobby attitude. Why is he filming the whole interaction though? And I wouldn’t trust his attitude either because he knows he is recording he could make himself sound much more friendly to look like the reasonable in the situation. Both seem to be looking for an argument
Exactly. I wouldn’t be surprised if he purposefully got on the train in first class with loud headphones to get a “tiktok bro totally owns boomer”. I wanna be on his side, but I have to turn my headphone down at least half as soon as I step on a bus because it’s loud af. Was she great at handling it? Nah, but I’m way more wary of the recorder.
i listen to music on my headphones pretty loud, but if someone asks me politely to turn my music down, i will, happily. be a bitch about it though? i'mma turn it up louder
I bring my own headphones because I can hear everything, even from other people's headphones and it drives me bonkers. Since this is my problem, I am in charge of coping with it. It's really not a difficult concept to grasp, but apparently it is for far too many people.
I used to travel pretty frequently for work and I never encountered any situations like these. Sometimes I'm really glad that I wasn't traveling during the pandemic. That seems to have really brought out the worst in people.
The pandemic was a double whammy. The combination of stress (from many factors) and the anti-mask crusaders led to lots of grown people having meltdowns in public. The folk on the front lines don't get paid enough to deal with that crap...heck, they're lucky if they even get paid time off when they do get sick.
I thought you were going to bring up the most recent man that was freaking out on the plane over a crying baby! He yelled louder than the baby and made a huge scene! Good job adulting guys. 👶🍼
@@DelphineTheWorstBladeEver Racist? A screaming baby of any race is annoying. And, by the way, people on that flight were already stressed out and grumpy because of their landing being delayed and that guy wasn't the only one who was annoyed by the baby's continuous screaming. He just made the situation even worse.
@@michaelhoward142 I somehow can understand why a baby might be crying on a plane, and usually in those situations I try to take it as it is. Babies are not able to regulate their emotions, so we can't really expect it from them. That's how babies are built and they will develop this ability later in their lives. But I fail to understand how a grown-ass man can't regulate their emotions and has a melt-down like a 3-year-old. Yelling does not make an overtired baby to calm down, it overwhelms everybody else on the plane. And no, I'm not a baby mama who tortures fellow passengers with their babies. I'm a middle-aged childless woman who finds adults having melt-downs more annoying than a baby who has no other means to express their discomfort than crying.
@@Trammiliin_nr2 I wasn't criticizing the baby. And I wasn't excusing the guy's immature/annoying behavior. "He just made the situation even worse" was referring to the man who was yelling about the baby. The whole situation was stressful for everyone onboard and there were several things contributing to the situation. I totally agree with what you said.
My very first time taking a train, it was a 28 hour drive. First ride was 6 hours, then we got onto another train. On THIS particular train, I went to my seat, it was 2 seats facing 2 seats with a table in the middle. A lady left her stuff on her seat so I sat in mine, across from her. She started RAGING at me, saying she was sitting there first and that I had to leave and was making such a huge scene. The train security had to come over and asked about the issue, saw my ticket that showed I was supposed to be next to her, and then just rolled their eyes and moved me to the next seat. The lady got up five minutes later and BITCHED at me AGAIN for sitting in 'her' seat and that I was being rude to her. I was only 18. Hilarious. Entitled people are so sad.
years ago I took a friend of a friend to the grocery store and a stop at a pharmacy. first, she didn't want to pay for gas and said her friend will pay me. she tried telling me how to drive the entire drive. before she went into the store I told her not to be long. After waiting more than an hour I went in to look for her. She was sat at the employee rest tables drinking a coffee chit chatting with some women. I told her I am done waiting and if she wants a ride she had better come out to the car immediately. She came right out but had a very sour mood going on. I took her to the pharmacy and she said she will be about 5 minutes because she was just picking up her prescription. Where I parked I could see the pharmacy counter. She walked up and got her meds then started talking to a woman beside her. After 10 minutes I texted her telling her I am leaving in 2 minutes with or without her. I waited for the 2 minutes and then took all her things out of my car and put them in a shopping cart and wheeled it to the door. I walked back to my car and texted her where her cart is and said I was leaving. I was 15 minutes down the road when she texted me back asking where I was. I waited until I got home to text back telling her I was at home because she wouldn't do things on my time which she was using up. She had to call another friend to come get her and the friend that asked me to take her said sorry and even paid the gas money. I had nothing against him for asking but if someone is taking you somewhere and they say there is a schedule or you will be left behind and you ignore that then you get what you get
After she was at a table I would've just walked out. Like I don't work for a driving service. I am not getting paid, and I am not your servant. "I shall wait by the carriage my lady." No way is that this situation you ain't no lady I don't even know you we aren't friends. 😂
seriously? like if you're kind enough to help someone out by taking them somewhere, just get the things you need and be done with your errands. Other people have lives too
On my flight to Mexico wr had a very drunk group of like 7 or 8 people they were loud, not exactly rowdy but you could hear their personal (the tea was hot in that group) conversations and they kept engaging with the flight attendees to an annoying point. Honestly made the flight drag because even headphones didn't help
Not gunna lie I agree with the first class lady complaining about the headphones. She could have led with a please but he was also engaging/encouraging the argument. It’s also super annoying when people with headphones play their music so loud you can easily hear it. I can’t afford first class for anything lol but I’d be bitter if I got the opportunity and I was sat across from him 😂
you have never been on second class with someone who brings a boombox. It is so common where I live for ppl to listen to music on speakers that for me that lady seemed crazy.
Yeah i am with you on that one. The worst thing is that lady stopped the argument several times just by saying to put it quieter but the guy kept going and on and on
The attitude she starts with she would of got a whatever look from me followed by me putting my headphones back in..... and if she carried on they would of got louder... I have hearing loss in both ears and a constant infection in one so I have to have them at a certain level to just hear it. On the other hand I can listen to music volume at 100% and not damage them my ears more. Had she been nice and polite I would of turned it down and said sorry.
We only has his word he was wearing headphones. Plus we were not there so we cannot tell just loud the music(probably intentional). My suspicion is he is farming her for content and the way he talks like trying to bring a different issue eg race into it. When the lady was just uppity. Move or lower your volume. The fact you had your phone ready to film instead is a bit suspicious.
honestly, i got to a point when i worked in the service industry where i would get my manager at any little issue, because, and i quote "yeah, i'm gonna grab my manager for you because i don't get paid enough for this shit" burnout level: max
@KittyMama61 There's actually a car game series by that name already 😂 the biggest point of it is crashing your/your opponents cars. It's quite fun actually 😂
When it comes to making disturbances on and around planes, you should also keep in mind that pulling that sort of shenanigans can get you put on a no fly list real easily. It's also one of the few places where you will get arrested for being belligerent. If you're gonna have a meltdown, it's best to save it for literally anywhere other than an airplane or airport.
I love flying. I only do it for vacations. But compared to driving 10 - 17 hours to get somewhere and be mentally exhausted. Just sitting in essentially a shopping mall then getting in a magic tub to watch 2 movies and get a cookie. Then to feel a rumble and be where you want a mere 2-6 hours later...omg its heaven.
I never act out in an airport, but it is always very anxiety inducing and stressful for me so I get how it cannot be a calming experience, but I don’t understand how you have to make it other peoples problems because you’re not having a good time. All you can do is go through it or go around it.
For me, flying is the modern equivalent of Medieval torture. Buying a flight ticket is paying for being : held in contention in a space that won’t allow you to ever feel relaxed, nor comfy - no! - you’ll have to feel each and every second your crappy knees, your bloated inners, and the thousands disgusting smells passing by; served prison’s food; be deprived, from the moment you step in the Security’s line, untill you have crossed the customs in the next country, you’ll be deprived, have I said, of all your basics rights regarding anonymity - and! - almost all of your common sense of civility. You’ll be watching one or two movies... that you won’t remember at all. You’ll be holding your farts. Almost all the time, you’ll be entangled in a long, warm-to-cold-to-heated/hater warm war, with your neighbor, in the best case, with your neighbors, in the worst. Who’s gonna win the armrest? Who is gonna be a boss for being the first in the alley after the landing? Planes are Karens’ factory.
I hate travelling by plane and do it only when necessary. I know its statistically safer than driving, but the whole experience just sucks. I haven't had many issues with other passengers, but the way you're treated by the airports/airlines isn't that great (Note: I'm not talking bad about the staff, just policy and the way things are set up). its a lot of hurry up and wait while getting nickel and dimed to death with fees for everything they can think of to charge you extra for. It seems like the only folk who don't have tip jars out are the flight attendants, and in my opinion, they're the ones who would be most deserving of a tip. My worst experience on an airplane was when the person in front of me had a broken seat (and didn't know it til they reclined). They reclined their seat and it slammed all the way back very rapidly. That was painful, but no injuries and there was no malice involved; just a broken seat. Since I don't recline airline seats (I'm always afraid its crowding the person behind me), and he needed to recline in order to sleep, we traded seats.
Yeah anxiety is so hard. But luckily we have the light love and laughter that is Charlotte. Hope you feel better. I take a really long really hot bath and watch childhood movies. That helps my anxiety tremendously.
Hi Besties! Hope everyone is staying petty!! Here’s my entitled passenger story. I gave my brother and father a ride to Walmart. My brother (who btw never offered gas money but was fine with our father offering gas money. My father was a pensioner whose car was repossessed because my brother stopped helping him pay for it as promised. Oh my brother lived with him still and was in his 40’s) got rude with me that I wouldn’t take him more places. I told him no and he then refused to get into the car. He tried to get our dad to not get in either thusly assuming I’d give in. My dad got in 😂. I left him there… Don’t be rude to the driver. We can just leave you!
I Love the fact that Charlotte uploads everyday at the same time. She's amazing. She deserves all the recognition for her dedication to this Channel.❤️
You had the perfect opportunity to have the footage of Marge running up and down a plane screaming “Let me off” and you didn’t take it. To be fair to train lady, I once got asked to turn my music down because they could hear it further into the carriage. I was wearing headphones with the volume right up. However the person asking was the conductor and he did say please.
I would have asked to see her ticket. First class on the train just means more room. I take the train in Canada and sometimes it’s like a 20$ difference between economy and first class, and honestly for long rides with transfers it’s worth it. You get food and drinks and access to the business lounge at stations that have free snacks and drinks and bathrooms. So sometimes it worth but I’ve only ever lost my cool once in a business lounge and it was cause I dude was talking extremely loud on his phone pretending to drink a tiny can of coke for 45 min just so he could tell the workers he didn’t have to wear a mask. I told him he wasn’t some magical dude who didn’t have to wear his mask. It was when mask restrictions in Canada were hella strict and he was being rude to the via rail workers saying he was drinking so he didn’t have to wear a mask. It was also like midnight. So I felt like a dick that time but also I was kinda annoyed.
The lady on the train definitely seemed entitled/ rude, but am I the only one that feels like the guy was definitely kinda egging her on to keep the argument going? 😅 Like that felt like it dragged on longer than it should have (especially since, depending on the type of headphones, you can hear music from them if it’s too loud which can be annoying and he didn’t even acknowledge that possibility) but I feel like they should’ve just calmed down and went about their business 😅
The best thing about the lady on the train is I can clearly tell this is in the UK as I could literally tell you the train type and she's being all snobby about sitting in first class reading the paper when the paper she's reading is the Metro! They're free at every station and you'll often find them left on trains by previous passengers!
Just wanted to say thank you for your content. It's helped me while in the hospital suffering from some severe infections and kidney stones. You always make me smile. Love you Charlotte 💕
I used to love to fly. It was exhilarating and amazing and something to look forward to. For the past 10-15 years, I've avoided it like the plague. People in general have made flying so unpleasant. Of course, airlines haven't helped things, either.
I was flying from Austin to Sacramento and we had a layover in Denver. The whole flight to Denver these drunk girls were sitting in front me talking very loudly about very inappropriate topics. We landed in Denver and had to wait to pull up to the terminal and of the girls was being loud and obnoxious. Someone behind me finally says “shut up” and everybody on the plane clapped. It was a beautiful moment!
Little fun story. When I was in my early teens, I was on a plane with my family and I needed to go to the toilet. Mind you it was the first time for me to go toilet on a plane and the lock was hard to close and open. When I finished I thought I was stuck in the toilet so I started crying and banging on the door😅the air hostess opened the door and the passengers sitting close to the toilet started laughing at me. I was so embarrassed and traumatized that now I never go toilet on a plane.
12:50 the cop was probably thinking "Oh boy this is my first time throwing someone off the plane! So excited!" little bit of schadenfreude, have to have that to work at an airport.
My pet peeve at airports is when passengers with coach seats slow up boarding by being in the first class line. We all want to get on the plane. When you scan your ticket it makes a happy “Beep.” If you try to cut the line it makes a “Nert nert” noise. Embarrassing but funny for the rest of us.
People turn into animals in those lines. I had a woman literally try and shove her child in front of me to cut me (she made her family wait at a turn corner instead of getting in the back of the line when our number was called). Unfortunately for her, he’s not my kid so when he shoved into my bag, I didn’t move it or help. I just looked at his mom like she was a psycho and warned the people behind me that they’re about to be cut by this entitled bitch, watch out for kids being shoved under your feet.
My pet peeve is the way they board in the first place. In theory, first class priority boarding sounds great, however if I've paid first class money I don't think sitting on the plane longer than non-first class passengers and have to smell said a$$es while they wait to move back and get knocked about while they play musical overhead bag placement. I'm not being rude really it logistically makes more sense for the plane to board tail to nose once coach has been settled then first class boards and they de-board first. I also think if you are traveling with a sick whining baby you are required to be a first class patron and they should have one toilet closet that is sound proof but for safety doesn't lock but clearly indicates occupied. Flying sucks all around in general.
I love the train convo haha. My man handled it really politely. The lady was just making a fool of herself. She could have just asked nicely and there wouldn't have been any problem.
If you need to be asked to not listening to music too loud in a public space and be reminded that the world doesn't revolve around you don't play the victim and whine when you get called out for your attitude. That guy sounds like a self-absorbed entitled brat
So recognizable though. I work on trains and you can see people side eye people who they think 'don't belong' in first class. But here is the thing, you can NEVER know. Sometimes it's the worst dressed people that have the most expensive subscriptions (around $700 a month)
First off, that first girl was get drunk AND on a pill of some sort 5:39 and lowkey I think they BOTH have awesome accents and good points. Her expressions are great. She’s right and so is he lol
Summer 2022 I was returning from Berlin to visit my family in Canada. The customs was taking an absurdly long time and I had already been travelling 18 hours. I was not so subtly annoyed standing in the queue (for over two hours) but not making any noise or doing anything obnoxious. When it was my turn, they questioned me heavily and took me to some basement room where I was interrogated multiple times and had to wait for two more hours for them to retrieve the luggage off my connecting plane to search it for drugs or whatever in front of me. But by the time they got it I had made friends with the bag searchers and they apologized😂 Anyways, long story short, behave in the airport like it’s fucking court
I flew to San Diego from Calgary last month. The lady beside me at check in arrived 20 minutes before her international flight. Shocked to find out that check-in closed an hour and a half before she arrived. She didn’t spaz but was asking ‘what they could do for her’. And the check-in representative just gave her a blank look and told her she’d have to buy a ticket for a later flight. I was just dumbfounded that someone who has flown internationally before failed to realize that she was way too late. I don’t think most people understand that planes have a takeoff window of time. They can’t hold the plane for latecomers because the plane will lose its place in line to leave. It’s really complicated to have to reschedule a new spot in the takeoff line. The plane has to disembark passengers and wait for a new spot. Sometimes it takes hours and can even result in the flight being cancelled. It’s not airlines trying to be difficult, it’s the way airports function and there are no exceptions for a reason.
It might not sound like a compliment, but Charlotte's videos are what I watch while I eat dinner... I don't watch anything really. I mostly play audio books but when I eat I can't just stare off. So over the last year or so, shes been the only consistent content I watch. 💜🥔
I actually totally understand the 2nd lady. People having their music blaring out of their headphones is just as annoying as it playing out right especially if it's in a predominantly quiet area. Now the way she handled it (to British standards I guess) was probably really rude tho 🤷🏾♀️
first video: she's alive...she's human...and now she might be in jail lmao......i laughed so hard at that the third video especially when she said, "I will know your Hogwarts house" 🤣🤣🤣🤣
I love this story! 💞 Thanks for sharing!
Thank you for this eye bleach. How nice 🩵
That’s so wholesome, this story has restored my faith in humanity 🥹❤️
My first flight the take off was difficult and even though it was a low budget plane they moved me to the front and a really kind attendant held my hand. I’ve never had this type of experience on a regular flight and since I flew Air Canada I will never fly regular again.
@Virgomamatoacapricorn I bet. Thankfully, I've only been on big planes. I've never been out of the country. I hope to at some point, and Canada is on my list. I'm glad someone was there for you. That was very kind.
That first lady sure looked like she was drunk 😂
Or higher than a kite.
Second lady too!! 😂
And the third one was most likely
This is why I am paranoid about drinking... I don't ever want to look like this. I know it sucked to wear masks, but honestly... this is just not the way to go. Either way, I would always recommend people to always wears masks in a plane. All you need is an asshole who got sick, still took the plane and sneezes everywhere, guess where it goes? the air conditioner that everyone on the plane breathes.
These videos are always a good reminder to not do drugs
The mere fact that a person is using headphones does not mean the music cannot be loud enough to disturb other people. If that was the case in this particular incident, we have to guess, the woman could no doubt have approached it more politely.
I agree with you. It was her disdain at the man whom she did not think belonged in first class as well as the fact that she never asked politely that put her in the wrong. She demanded 2-3 times then, finally, with snark, said "Please."
There's an easy test for this. He should turn the music off completely, put his headphones back on, and if she complains again, he's got her.
Yup, I agree. I've been to a situations when I had to switch seats because someone's headphones where going so loud that I couldn't focus on my book. I wouldn't make it for 4 hours in the train next to that person. People should be more considerate of other people on public transport, I think
this was snobism but probably r@Cism at its best...
@@moonhunter9993how was it racist?
My seat neighbor once had a really loud youtube video despite her earphones. I gave her a minute to realize on her own, then I asked nicely. She apologized, said she thought her earphone was broken, and put it all away. We even had a lovely conversation later. Give nice a chance. It will make everyone's experience better.
I'll always remember the iconic flight attendant that screamed "MAAM I WORK HERE" at a karen that told her to get off the plane
😂😂😂
That's one of the most infuriating things possible. Just be done with it, you're not changing anything.
I died reading this! Best comment 😂😂 just wanted to add I agree soo much!
The first lady kept that up ALL the way to the police station and as soon as the car door was opening she STILL was going at it full throttle. Smh.
I definitely see why the First Lady on the plane got arrested. She looked drunk and was not listening to what the man was telling her.
Yeah, I was getting the same vibes. She sounded weird.
If Madame First Class wasn't also screaming drunk I will eat my fancy hat
She was on some pills. They act similar to drunks, but you can always tell a pill popper because they're not as floppy and they change emotions like every time they blink.
I think she also had some kind of mental problems.
She was very likely on something. She may have had a mental problem, but she was 80% chance on something. Dono what, but she was likely intoxicated.
She seemed a bit intoxicated on top of the grumpiness…
Not only that, but tinnitus is a real thing. When I was young I thought my hearing was untouchable. I would blare my music so loud that other people could hear through my headphones. 27 was when the tinnitus started and it hasn’t stopped since. For his own sanity, he should turn it down
I would simply move.
She reacted poorly, the guy was escalating the situation.
10:57 Props to the older gent seeing how physical angry man was getting and showing there was more than just a corporate lady to intimidate.
I was subconsciously recoiling from his aggressive body movements.

The comment that she didn't use her luggage bin on the flight is ridiculous. I can't tell you how many times I have attempted to use the bin over my seat only to find it full. Just sayin'. Now "Lauren" was ridiculous.

@@Whatthehellena I highly doubt that was all there was to it. But if your overhead is full check with an attendant the best place to put it.
😂locked in the bathroom 😂
Brilliant response, allegedly.
That male flight attendant was so kind, someone give him a raise
@@kimgilbert3605he did seem to be egging her on.

He was waiting for her to say please. Evidently it is now a crime to expect courtesy.😂😂
Genius!
Train lady's issue wasn't that she didn't have a point, it was that she was unnecessarily rude about it 😅
Agreed I bet he had it blasting on full volume which yes you can hear outside the headphones. Terribly annoying video regardless.
I completely sympathize with her. It's SO obnoxious.
Yeah, we all know damn well there are people that blast their headphones loud enough for everyone else to hear. And with it that loud, how are you gonna quietly tell them to turn it down?
LOVE that Charlotte said "You can buy "first class" but you can't buy CLASS."
Well said.
Amen!
Should have just started blasting some WAP
It’s always funny watching a suuuuper drunk person try to reason and explain while I’m sober.
Yep. That’s great entertainment 😂😂
If you’re too poor or entitled to have headphones then don’t use public transport and be entitled prats

I think I remember that the woman on the plane in the beginning wasn't drunk but on drugs. They found out later and it explained her irratic behaviour and not really understanding what they wanted from her.
Yea that was my first guess, without a doubt a little anxiety cocktail 😅
I empathize, slightly, with the woman on the train. I can still hear it when someone is using headphones. They only cancel out what else is going on around the person using them. There is no way to block the other people from hearing what he's listening to. But, she was rude about how she approached him.
I absolutely agree and commented something similar! Headphones (depending on the brand) can have the music bleeding through so others can hear.
I've had it happen to myself a couple times 😂 where people have asked me, very nicely if I can turn down my music because it was leaking through. And I immediately apologized and turned it down. I didn't even know they were leaking the music so badly but when I realized I bought a new pair of headphones 😂😂
The way she went about asking him to turn down his music was so wrong and unnecessary.
Exactly!!!!
"Do you even have a first class ticket?"
This reminds me of when I was a teenager and the only seat available on the train was a first class ticket so I bought that.
It kills me how many adults get THAT drunk, let alone in public.
I have anxiety (i.e. karenish tendancies) and I choose to not drink. My god, a drunk me would be a disaster for everyone!)

Like those things get real loud and if you're used to listening at that volume it might not feel that way to you but everyone else can hear it.
Yes. That is all.
Yeah, I mean she was annoying for a whole lot of reasons but using headphones doesn't mean your music can't still be too loud to others.
Mothers of teens know that woman’s complaint can be very true
yep, i thought the same too, sometimes those headphones just leak, its not really that tight to keep the volume. And as someone who listens to music at minimum 60% volume, i can relate to what youre saying, coz in some places i have to make sure that people cant hear my music, coz my taste of music and my volume is kinda.....blasting 😅😅😅😅
maybe you cant hear the full music, it will just like mumblings, but some people cant handle that kind of background noise for a long time, so yea, i can understand the lady
Seeing the road quite literally torn open to replace a water line, the driver sighs, “I really should listen to the people who live in these neighborhoods. How do I get to Harvard from here?”
Or, “Sixth is backed up with a ton of traffic.” “If you turn south on McIntyre or Moss, that’ll put you on the County Road.
@@Cymindis Yes, exactly my thoughts. He seems like he is egging her on trying to get a "Karen" moment.
We don’t know what happened before he started recording though.
@@Cymindis highly likely that she didnt apoligize before the video started, as it seemed like she took really long to apoligize in the video
The guy in first class reminds me of how you would parent a toddler. I really should have let it go eventually though. More trouble than it’s worth
Nah, but I’m way more wary of the recorder.
my guess is that she was rude about how she asked
i listen to music on my headphones pretty loud, but if someone asks me politely to turn my music down, i will, happily. be a bitch about it though? i'mma turn it up louder
I don't think she covers racist things. You're talking about the guy screaming about a white baby?
@@DelphineTheWorstBladeEver Racist? A screaming baby of any race is annoying. And, by the way, people on that flight were already stressed out and grumpy because of their landing being delayed and that guy wasn't the only one who was annoyed by the baby's continuous screaming. He just made the situation even worse.
I'm quite certain these are filmed in advance and posted on a schedule. This was most likely recoded before that incident.
The first lady was absolutely sloshed.. Love you Charlotte ❤
The first class British argument was the politest disagreement I’ve ever witnessed 😂
As a human, I feel that I need to thank Charlotte for all of her great videos adding humor to our days!
You're an actual "human"?! Thanks for clarifying, because you just never know what other animals come on here and comment.
I also, am a human. 🤖
I had nothing against him for asking but if someone is taking you somewhere and they say there is a schedule or you will be left behind and you ignore that then you get what you get
Dont blame you thinkni would have done the same good on ya
Good for you
i would've left her stranded if i was in your position
The worst like lirr in NYC after work lol
Not gunna lie I agree with the first class lady complaining about the headphones. She could have led with a please but he was also engaging/encouraging the argument. It’s also super annoying when people with headphones play their music so loud you can easily hear it. I can’t afford first class for anything lol but I’d be bitter if I got the opportunity and I was sat across from him 😂
you have never been on second class with someone who brings a boombox. It is so common where I live for ppl to listen to music on speakers that for me that lady seemed crazy.
@@purple66666 that’s my nightmare 😂😂
As a longtime customer service rep, I have to deal with people like this every single day. It's getting old, and I'm getting burned out on it.
honestly, i got to a point when i worked in the service industry where i would get my manager at any little issue, because, and i quote "yeah, i'm gonna grab my manager for you because i don't get paid enough for this shit"

Then to feel a rumble and be where you want a mere 2-6 hours later...omg its heaven.
sammy sweetheart and jwoww from jersey shore just chillin in the background of the first video sent me 😭😭
I never act out in an airport, but it is always very anxiety inducing and stressful for me so I get how it cannot be a calming experience, but I don’t understand how you have to make it other peoples problems because you’re not having a good time. All you can do is go through it or go around it.
Same, I get such bad anxiety. I cope by getting there early not by being crappy to other passengers and staff 😅😅
Thank you for being so consistent, I’ve been having extreme anxiety and my 5pm UK time Charlotte really helps ❤

"one of us is an attorney and it's not you" sir... I don't think it's gonna be you much longer either lmao😂
That flight attendant was so calm talking to "Lauren" you know he could have been sassy if he'd wanted.
dealing with a drunk person sober is sometimes annoying but more often hilarious

Honestly. And never slacking on content and petty takes.
I’m betting the train lady did ask nicely. She didn’t raise her voice as well.
I loved the first one because it was filmed from so many different angles xD
Same on the peirod thing 😂 when i start crying for no reason, there she comes
The body language of the woman on train has me laughing. He did better than I could, I would have laughed so hard at her. 😂
She also looks drunk lol
I would have started acting like a pompous ass and imitating her. Then asked if I acted like I belong to first class?
She had crazy eyes lol
@@sarahwatson3192 On Amtrak in the US there aer quiet cars. God it's nice. If someone had loud headphones they would get strangled.
7:00 omg “fat and sassy” had me laughing til I cried
Train one is like a scene in every streaming British comedy.
The best thing about the lady on the train is I can clearly tell this is in the UK as I could literally tell you the train type and she's being all snobby about sitting in first class reading the paper when the paper she's reading is the Metro! They're free at every station and you'll often find them left on trains by previous passengers!

I used to love to fly. It was exhilarating and amazing and something to look forward to. For the past 10-15 years, I've avoided it like the plague. People in general have made flying so unpleasant. Of course, airlines haven't helped things, either.
I to try to avoid it like the plague. I have to fly internationally 2x a year. I hate it more and more each time I fly
To be able to hear his music through 2 seats with the whole train noise... that dude was digging his ears XD lady was doing him a favor 😂
Charlotte your memes crack me up. When I see someone acting crazy I hear you in my head saying “how embarrassing”! Lol
Hugs 🫂
Probably for the best.
Using a plane toilet is an emergency scenario - go before you board and once you get off, you will be happier that way

My pet peeve at airports is when passengers with coach seats slow up boarding by being in the first class line.
We all want to get on the plane.
When you scan your ticket it makes a happy “Beep.”
If you try to cut the line it makes a “Nert nert” noise.
The flights I've been on they never deny boarding just because a person tries to board early. It would slow things down, so it's scan and go!
Loved her comment "As a human being that is alive". As opposed to what?! Do tell!

EH, I sympathize.
So recognizable though. I work on trains and you can see people side eye people who they think 'don't belong' in first class. But here is the thing, you can NEVER know. Sometimes it's the worst dressed people that have the most expensive subscriptions (around $700 a month)

It’s remarkable how many people do that. More and more every year.
To be fair, many people play music in their headphones far louder than they need to and it ends up that others can clearly hear it from seats away.
"Gotten better at hiding it."
I firmly believe that people don't really change. They just get better at hiding their real self as they get older.
Thats why you gotta be so unapologetically yourself so that no one’s afraid to be themselves around you.
I think you have a point but not everyone. I’ve known so many people that really have changed.

I actually totally understand the 2nd lady. People having their music blaring out of their headphones is just as annoying as it playing out right especially if it's in a predominantly quiet area. Now the way she handled it (to British standards I guess) was probably really rude tho 🤷🏾♀️
