Awesome! I'm looking for upgrade parts for mine. It was such a great price for what you get! I'm having lots of fun with it and looking for a good driver.
I contacted the seller, and they said they would resend it to me for the broken part. I'm not sure if they are sending a part or a whole new MN128. It wasn't easy to communicate with them, but they are sending me something. I'll let you know what I get. They also have a bunch of parts available on Ali express, both standard and upgraded! I want to get metal links, too. It's cool that such an inexpensive car has so many options!
That's what I was going to do until I saw the piece that could be so easily removed. Thanks! I'm going to try to get running videos today. Thanks for watching!
Thanks so much for taking this apart, it looks well made. I can't wait to get mine! Do you think the little port beside the light board is channel 2? I would like to keep the receiver board if I can so it can control the lights and hook up a hobbywing 1080 to it if possible.
Hey Todd, I haven't taken mine off yet, but it looks like there are just 6 screws holding it on. I would love to see a picture after you do that. What color did you order?
@@BillLionaire12 No. You can replace the receiver and transmitter. I got one that you can hook up all the lights to. I used a DumboRC X6DC. You can get an adapter for the lights to hook right up easily.
Thanks for the video!....I have one on the way for my gi joe classifieds
@@BillLionaire12 Thanks for watching! I'm going to make another video on 3 ways to upgrade or not.
@@TinkBing_check_it_out I'll be waiting!

Also, did the body come off easy?
I don't know. I'll see if I can figure that out.
Is it hard to take the top off? I need to dremel out somenof the front panel so 6 inch figures can fit in it
It's pretty easy. It's just a few screws
What size is the servo?
Do you know if the roll cage can come off easily for detailing the inside?
