***** Thanks Joe, Florrie is one of my favourite music hall artists, always on the look out for more. There is film of her on yt ''Florrie Forde, Queen of the English Music Hall'' it's almost a filmed version of this medley. Just like a one woman version of the Good Old Days.
Al this is great recording and I am almost certain I had a copy. I know the order of the songs but alas the name Florrie Forde did not mean anything. When grandma passed away I inherited her gramophone and all the records. For a young boy, I just played them.
This was also issued by Regal 10" the songs are the same but obviously the run time is shorter. I also have Harry Champion and Vesta Victoria uploaded in the same series. There is also a video of Florrie singing most of this on stage on yt. 😁
Florrie Forde a great Star and legend come back music halls 🥰
Another great historic record Al. Interesting to hear the verse on some of these songs - in danger of getting lost in time I would think.

ferrarial ...it just occurred to me who would be her modern day equivalent I wonder.
+IVORIESMAN No one does what Florrie did now Joe, but in popularity stakes I would have said our much missed Cilla was possibly her modern equivalent.
+ferrarial ...yes of course, a no- brainer...:-)
