Thank you so much! Do you know if there is an easier way to do this via settings or not? I found your video super helpful and it worked, but surely there must be an easier and more time efficient way to do this? If not, I have no idea why apple had to make this so complicated 🤣
Thank you so much! My LaunchPad got all messed up after upgrading the system. The terminal script still works even in 2024 for macOS Sonoma 14.6.1.👍

I swear, sometimes Apple makes the simplest things do the most complicated to accomplish.
Haha, this certainly is compared to other things. I kind of think Launchpad hasn’t gotten the attention it needs

There should be, but there isn’t. I don’t know why Apple has never provided an easier method or even just organization options.
Thank you :)
Will this work on OS Ventura?
Yes it should. While I’ve not tried it on Ventura, I don’t believe these resources have changed.
how do i set my installed apps alphabetically?
Not automatically, at least as far as I’m aware. The only way is to manually drag them around into alphabetical order.
@@EasyOSX Thank you so much!
Happy to help, though sorry I couldn’t do more
