Would this setup be something similar to what you would use in a race?
can't be even close, the TT wings are absurdly high and would be awful to race with.
Pls i need this camera setting
How is it even possible to see how much ERS you're on with a quick glance when your OSD is so see-through
He probably have a screen on the steering wheel to tell how much is the ERS
@@zimheres he doesn't
How did he gain 4 tenths right at the end of both laps??
Most likely had a bad time getting traction out of the final corner on his previous fastest lap
what's the difference between a tt setup for a race setup?
I'm not Lucas but I think race setups usually have higher tyre pressures. On TT setups, the tyre pressures are usually very low which gives them more grip. But, in TT, you don't get tyre overheating and tyre wear. Lower tyre pressures increase temperature and wear, so in race setups, where there is tyre wear and overheating, tend to have higher tyre pressures.
Another difference may be the wing levels. The wing levels that are the fastest on TT may not be the fastest in a race because in TT, you don't have anyone to fight or overtake, it is all about one lap pace, so what matters in TT is grip in corner entry, apex speed, and corner entry. So, it is better to have slightly higher wing levels, which gives more downforce, which gives better grip in the corners. In the race, the wing levels are preferably lower in most tracks to have an advantage in a straight line to be able to overtake or defend from cars around you. The difference in wing levels between TT and race setups are not that huge, though. Probably more or less 5 clicks of wing difference.
Lastly, there may be alterations to the suspension behavior and camber, as well, because it can also affect tyre wear and temperatures. I am not that familiar with the suspension settings in the game so I can't confidently say what setting is ideal for TT or ideal for race trim.
TT You have perfect conditions (no tyre wear and constant temperatures ). In Race your setup needs to respect the limitations of the car and still be quick
He doesn't use this in a race
Why are you not joining league races?
I plan on doing some in the future but not full seasons on this game, for me it isn't the most important thing to be doing every league race I can right now, as I have other things I want to focus on and also considering the amount of time I've invested into this game preparing for esports, it's healthy for me to have more balance in my life. Did plenty of league racing at the beginning of the game but for me not everything revolves around it.
@@lucasblakeley88 Does it mean that F1 Esports is officialy cancelled?
@@medvedarci bro what he never said that
Hopefully not but it looks like F1 don't want to spend the money on Esports, I think it is a real shame considering the amount of effort these boys put in to be at this level and the amount of money F1 makes , You would think they would have a lot more support,
Hopefully it kicks of again next year, Cheers Slapbus,@@medvedarci
@@lucasblakeley88 got it. But for example the Iron man league could be nice fy because track is announced just before the race. Its not thaaaat sweaty and its a long race.
Fastest I could do was 1:27:421
