I have also survived two brain anerysums on September 26, 2021. One ruptured, so they coiled both of them. While in the hospital I suffered a stroke. Which that was my second stroke. I also had a massive brain stem stroke in 2015. So I am grateful that I survived.
My boyfriend Oscar who is 20 had 2 brain aneurysms rupture, and they put coils in both and then he had a major stroke as well. He’s been in ICU since 8/1/22, doctors have him on comfort care, he is breathing on his own, but is not conscious. They think he will pass. But I’m praying for a miracle.
I can relate to your story. 3 years ago, when I was 18 y.o., I also had an aneurysm rupture on my right side of the brain. Before the rupture I didn't have any disturbing symptoms of having an aneurysm or the possible rupture. I had only mild headaches less than 2 times a year, that's how rarely I had them. Yes, it did felt very sudden, truly like being shot in the brain, very sharply, it hurt so much that i was screaming and crying out of pain for a few minutes until i lost consciousness. The next thing i remember is that i woke up after a week had passed. Turns out i had a stroke because of the rupture and i'd been in coma for almost a week. Paralyzed on my left side, so i couldn't walk by my self, seat, eat, move and properly talk and see. It's like going back into a newborn state - can't do almost anything by yourself, only with the help of others. But as i can tell now, it does get significantly better. I went through 4 surgeries in the first year of recovery, now I have a titanium plate replacing part of the scalp. Although i lost my left side of the vision and haven't fully recovered my sensetivity on the left side of the body, i can live with this. Now, thankfully, i can do all the ordinary everyday tasks by myself, - i can walk, eat, move, do sport, talk, study, learn new languages, work, and much more. I just feel special and very blessed and lucky to be alive. I just learnt to be grateful for every simple thing that i have in my life and now feel so much happier every single day. For anyone who's recovering from this same thing: you can do it, i believe in you! Good luck! Love you! 🤍🤗🙏
I've had an unruptured aneurysm for a year and 2 months. The left side of my vertebral artery healed after 7 months and the right side has not yet healed. I have faith I will overcome this and you will too! 😊
I had my ruptured aneurysm on June 11th 2017 although I did return to work for about a year and a haft. My first surgury from what I was told took nineteen hours. then I went on to have two more brain surgeries and two stents put in my head. I have a fake skull and palate. The worst for me was having to stop working after thirty two years as a kindergarten teacher at a priviate school. Learning to love the new me because my life has truly changed.
I have/had that as well. It took me about 500 days before there was any kind of recovery from that. I am not sure if it went away on its own or taking the turmeric. The timing was right for the turmeric. This is supposed to bring down the Iron. There are still times I get real tired or seem to have limited energy but it did improve either with time or that supplement. Hang in there. It takes time for the brain to heal. Do whatever you can to speed the process up.
May I know if u feel anything days or weeks before your aneurysm popped? it's okay if you won't be able to answer. I'm just scared everyday, idk if it's because of my anxiety symptoms or just really something serious.

Trickiest time is between days 5 to day 12 (measured from the date of rupture). This is when everyone takes a downturn. Mine occurred on day 10-11. The downturn can be anything in nature. I know that doesn't help but the main thing for them to watch for is Vasospasms and rebleed. Hopefully they treated the actual rupture with coiling or clipping. Both had the same outcome as far as I have been told. I chose coiling. 1.5 years later and I am still here. So keep the faith. Hope your mom recovers well.
