    Just discovered your martinic ax73 sound bank, it amazed me so much, these sounds are outstanding. Rarely heard something simillar, can't wait to use them in my project. Then I started to google you and found out your channel with all these great teaching materials. Thank you for opportunity to learn from your passion for sound

      Thank you so much for your heartfelt comment, you really made my day. That's one of the reasons I keep making music. It's a loop, we all inspire each other. Those sounds are some of the patches I created in The Outskirts and I am particularly bond to that palette. I am glad you loved it and I hope you make some great music with them or just space yourself out of a difficult day.
      Keeping this channel up is still a lot of work and I have more than twice as much on my Patreon, in which we also use a Discord to chat, on a daily basis, like a virtual music school. I thank you for keeping my motivation and morale up.

    Hi! I have a question. I am trying to decide between with this one and amek mastering compressor? Amek is way cheaper right now so idk what to do.

    • @arizzoschettino
      @arizzoschettino  5 місяців тому

      Hello! I haven't used the Amek compressor but I have members in my Discord who use it and love it. I think it will be less versatile than Cenozoix but it will be more rich in character and will contribute to your mixes with one, decisive sound palette. Cenozoix will be more like a Swiss-Army-Knife but might lack the tone and vibe from plugins that do one thing and one thing they do "loud and proud".
      Thank you for watching!

      @@arizzoschettino Thank you for the answer. I almost have all types good compressors like uad analog compressors, ssl style bus compressor(bx_townhouse) -which i love the color it adds to the sound-, shadow hills class a, uad capitol mastering compressor. I am not sure if I need the amek maybe something like spl iron(variable mu) will fit my workflow more. I can combine it with something like shadow hills and maybe get similar results to amek? But amek has different features as multiple true RMS detectors, VCA clip and compression monitoring. When i look at the reviews everyone literally everyone is in love with amek. I think I’m gonna get it in the end…

      @@yigit_kuru you are welcome. You have a lot of great tools already, that's for sure. The best tip I can give you is to run every second of the trial/demo of the plugin you are interested in. Use every second of it. Most of the time we don't really need the stuff, but it's nice and fun to have new toys. By using every second of the demo period you get acquainted with the toy and you lose the hype for it, and get a more realistic vision of whether or not it's doing things for you. Also, in that period of demo... At least 20 more plugins will come out and they might distract you from that first toy. If they do, it means the toy wasn't really that good for you. And you saved money for a potential next toy, so you demo it and repeat what I wrote.. and then repeat etc. and maybe rediscover something you already had... And save even more money. This is what I teach to all my students. Money is hard to get. It should be hard to give as well.

    I tried this plugin next to real hardware .......with all its bells and whistle .......it felt like another plugin to me

    • @arizzoschettino

      I certainly see why the visual appeal and the sheer quantity of features can be appealing to some people. For me, I have more than enough from other, dedicated tools, plus the hardware, indeed.
