When you put the plastic on your skin after you kiss the plastic you're supposed to tap it onto your skin and that's how the kiss mark converts itself onto your skin. When you did it you just push the plastic up against your face you didn't Pat it in so that's why it didn't work
You didn't press and patt it thats why it didn't work. And you use the wrong plastic as you look closer you will see the type of almost like thin plastic screen like plate so it won't wrinkle but give you the shape and not smear on your face
