1971 Ford Torino GT, nice! Not only do I love how that 351 Cleveland V8 engine sounds under the hood, but the rear window louver and the "Get In, Sit Down, Shut Up & Hang On" license plate holder too!
Had a 71 just like it purchased in 1983 but green with the factory 3M stripes down the side. Loved it but this body style wasn't popular in those days. Purchased mine for $1,500.00 and it even had a new paint job.
Had a 1970 Torino back in the 70's when most young people were always smoking something. The placement of the Air Conditioning vents directly over top the ash tray that would blow ashes all over my clean machine always annoyed me back in the day as a young man.
Brings back memories, but that's all. There are many four cylinder cars today what can outrun the old cars, even the 4 cylinder Mustangs and Camaros of today are pretty quick. So the old cars may sound tough and even look good, but for my money I'll go for a new car with EFI and ABS.
The pretty girl doesn't know not to slam the hood on this beautiful classic automobile. This car was new when her grandparents were her age and she probably drives a boring import....YAWN!
