An underrated movie of amithab. Surprised that this did only average at that time. What a great acting of sanjivkumar and amithab. This was later remade in tamil as padikadhavan with rajinikanth reprising amithab's role and shivaji ganeshan reprising sanjivkumar's role which turned out to be an industry hit.
As a tamil guy, this is the bollywood I heard and grew up watching. Those were the days when bollywood movies had a huge demand for remakes in South India. Now it's the exact opposite of that.
