  • In today's video I want to show you how to build powerful dual thrust rocket with tomy timer and parachute. Materials you need: 1.5L coca cola bottles (because it can handle high pressure), nut and screw, metal pipe, some wood, wine bottle cork, old umbrella, tyre valve. All needed instructions are in the video. You should add 1/3 water and 2/3 leave for compressed air. Have a great launch :)

    Thank you so much I’ve been looking for a way to make a parachute without spending a bunch of money on a flight computer and I’d almost given up!

      Most water rocket experiments with different amounts of water more or less lead to the same result. The result is that using 1/3 water and 2/3 air is the best.

    I see inspiration from aircommandrockets and others, especially with the "dual-thrust" setup and the Tommy timer deployment mechanism. Other things I saw are the Robinson coupling and the ping pong ball nose cone. However, using cloth from an umbrella was quite nifty.

      I know but it was nowhere near as good as this design, we also had a parachute but the t was based on air flow so when the rocket went up it stayed closed but as so as it fell, air would push a flap of paper opening the parachute. But the gearbox design is genius.

    • @Thirty-Two
      @Thirty-Two 5 років тому +2

      @@egordemyanenko7477 the "gearbox" design has been around for years as well; it's called a "Tommy Timer"
