Thanks for watching my Pokemon Scarlet and Violet Gameplay and Walkthrough! I'm excited to be playing another Pokemon game on the Nintendo Switch! You may have seen a trailer or review, but this playthrough will feature my impressions, reactions, and commentary throughout the full game including the ending! OPEN WORLD POKEMON ADVENTURE
The newest chapters in the Pokémon series are coming to the Nintendo Switch system later this year. Catch, battle, and train Pokémon in the Paldea Region, a vast land filled with lakes, towering peaks, wastelands, small towns, and sprawling cities. There is no set path, so you can adventure freely through three grand stories. In one such story, you can challenge Pokémon Gyms in any order you desire as you aim for the Champion Rank! Explore a wide-open world at your own pace and traverse land, water, and air by riding on the form-shifting Legendary Pokémon Koraidon. Choose either Sprigatito, Fuecoco, or Quaxly, to be your first partner Pokémon before setting off on your journey through Paldea. Pokémon in the Paldea region have the ability to Terastallize to gain special power. When a Pokémon Terastallizes, a Tera Jewel appears above its head like a crown, and the Pokémon’s body glistens like a cut gemstone. Each Pokémon has a Tera Type that remains inactive until the Pokémon Terastallizes. For example, most Eevee will have a Normal Tera Type, but some other Eevee have a Flying Tera Type! When a Terastallized Pokémon uses a move that matches its Tera Type and at least one of its original types, the boost to that move’s power will be even greater! Terastallizing holds the key to victory or defeat in battles in the Paldea region. The Paldea Region is home to a prestigious school where people from all sorts of regions come to hone their skills against each other, be it through academics or Pokémon battles. The name of the school, its emblem, its uniforms, and other details will differ depending on whether you play Pokémon Scarlet or Pokémon Violet. Take classes with unique teachers who will show you what they know about battling, Pokémon biology, and more. Embark on an independent study called the Treasure Hunt to gain new experiences, meet new people, and find your very own treasure.

Most of Arven's pokemon are those which have been used in the titan battles. Love that detail
Greedent - first one he fought you with to get Koraidon. Cloyster - Stony Cliff. Garganacl - Open Sky. Scovillain - Quaking Earth. Toedscruel - Lurking Steel. Mabosstiff - his actual partner pokemon.
He fought the False Dragon titan with that Greedent as well.

I tried to do this fight right after the final gym and lost so fast lol.
My highest level Pokemon was MAYBE 50 at that point. The next part is my favorite!
I fought it with a level 30s team
I had the same situation. I battled him for 20 minutes and almost lost. I had to use a lot potions and I only had 8 revives so it was very stressful.

The Pokemon League are level 58-62 and the Nemona fight after that is 65 so you'll want to be that or more. Area Zero has level 58-62 and the final fights you'll want be over 65. I was level 65-75 by the time I got to Area Zero I traded and got a Fuecroco which as you know levels up fast so it quickly surpassed my starter's levels.
I think this is the first game since I think the X and Y games where the game wants you to be closer to level 70 to stand a chance in the main story towards the end of it lol
@@zeospark9715 I suppose, though the wormhole thing in Sun and Moon was pretty high up there, Necrozma's ultimate form and everything. I did get a Charmander last night in Violet that was in one of those special balls you could buy in Sun and Moon to do some wormhole hunting.
I agree with you. I was under level 70 for the final battle, but somehow I pulled it off. I’d say he should be closer to lv 70 before he takes on the Elite 4 ( around 65-67 ) so he doesn’t struggle with the final battle.

All of the pokemon Arven has in his battle aside from Mabostiff are the fully evolved forms of the Pokemon he had caught and brought out to battle against the Titan Pokemon. Surprise surprise, this game's endgame is no joke.

They are basically the same game, I doubt it
It would be nice if you didn’t look up the typing of the Pokémon that are being sent out, and their weaknesses, but instead just went in blind. It just makes it easy to counter the enemy’s team, no matter what it is.
Great stuff, Zack! I recommend taking on the Big Boss of Team Star. They are about early-to-mid 60’s and then you’ll be ready for the Elite 4 ✨

I just got Pokémon Violet for Christmas! just started it. 😊
One of the intriguing elements of these games is learning the opposing pokemon's type by trial and error. Maybe for the rest of the series you try figuring out the opponents' types with various attacks and make it interesting instead of a 20-minute borefest of you just trying to get by another fight. As it is, you show zero charisma winning battles because of what you do.

You should get Finizen the dolphin in the water. It is so good that it's evolution form Palafin (with zero to hero) is banned in online battles

This mission is so difficult literally his Mabosstiff pokemon uses crunch and keeps killing all my pokemon SMH
You should revamp the team moves, having 2 of the same type attacks isnt ideal in most situations, check which attacking stat is higher and use those certain moves and change your natures if they debuff something good and buff the worst, it’ll help alot, you can find the items to change natures at chansey supply stores

The final fight of his story against him was the only L I took. I was very under leveled, still got him to his last poke and almost dead.. but he got me! Only one. Making him better than all the "top champs" . Imo
if you complete the game you can use koraidon in a wild or trainer battle not just battling paradise protection protocol

I only got this game for the new Dino suicune and had 2 days to complete the game and get my Pokémon leveled enough for the raid. And boy did Arven stood in my way. Since I was in a rush trying to blitz through the story I was not prepared for his overleveled team 💀 luckily frosslass came in clutch with destiny bond ☺️
Baxcalibur should forget ice beam and relearn Glaive rush.

I started Pokemon Scarlet on Christmas and I beat you to complete the path of Legends.
You should use mabostiff Arvena partener he is a great pokemon to use bec he can learn dark, dragon, groung and normal types
