How do you have such high effort and production value yet barely any views?

I make very long videos very occasionally - the youtube algorithm does not work in my favour :)

Very well done. I've been involve in the computing scene since the mid 70's and still am, yet I've learned something new from every one of your videos.

This channel is a hidden gem.
To be promoted by UA-cam, I will suggest uploading videos bit more frequently(may be once in 1 or 2 months).
I know it's hard considering level of effort required in creating videos this channel has.

Very well done! I learned about RISC processors back in the 90s when I was selling PCs and back then, I honestly thought it was the way things would unfold in the PC market. It made so much sense to me. I guess they were 20 some odd years ahead of their time tho. It's exciting to see some of the performance metrics Apple is getting with their M1 and M2 mac book pros and I for one, can't wait to see what they come up with next and how Windows machines adapt to match that performance. ARM chips are reinvigorating the PC market IMO.

I don't agree with everything, as Hermann Hauser and Robin Saxby didn't say what you state.
You make a mistake with the one third for each company : VLSI had only a few percents of the company ( below 5% IIRC ).
You seem to have completely forgotten that the iPod used an ARM CPU.
Saying WindowsCE became ARM only would be a worthy addition, too.
    Anyway, thanks for this video.

Thanks for your comment! Yes, it was hard to get information about the exact split, other than it was split between the 3 companies.
