Rose i can identify with your back discomfort. I'm a registered nurse and over time with lifting and bending one may have some pain. Years can go by before we have some skeletal and muscular change. Take care and take rest periods when doing certain tasks.❤❤

Rose, I love watching you and hubby together. You cook some amazing dishes. Please listen to your body. Those constant back aches need attention. Your posture is changing because you're a tall woman who's farming, cooking and prepping on a low table. Your hubby is smart and very attentive to get you some meds but the discomfort will return another day.

You are a tall person. I see that when you chop things, the counter might be too low for you.
If you can put something like a sturdy wooden box on top of the counter and then place a cutting board on top of it, it will definitely help with you not bending over do much.

I use a Chinese linoment oil called Po Sum On Medicated Oil. Unlike some Chinese medicated oils for psin,this one doesn't smell after applications. Then I use a Japanese pain patch called Salonpas makes sure it states that it has Lidocaine on the box. There are 2 different types of Salonpas,one with Lidocaine and the other does and smells like menthol. The Lidocaine one help numb and relieve muscle cramps.

Believe it or not eating a spicy pepper takes away the pain while working. I do this because I am a chronic pain suffer. I hope you feel better soon. The heat from a damp towel also gives relief. I am not a doctor but a pain suffer. What works for me may not work for you but I just stating what works for me
