    Thank you. Like my visa service. But wish you worked for them. Don't get a lot of information when I ask a question.

      Me too David. I've approached numerous visa providers here in an effort to fix their customer service issues. No takers.

    Nice video, just found your channel. Liked and subscribed.
    I got a visa question about the police report.
    Lets say one was suspected of a crime but never convicted in court, or the case never even made it to court in lack of evidence. May that cause questions or difficulties?

      This part of the visa process is subjective and yes, all charges may be considered if they are included in your background check. If there are questions about your background, you may be required to attend an interview as part of the temporary residency visa process.

      @@yapatree9495 there was never a charge. I was reported yo the police for something I never done and the case was closed for lack of evidence. I don't know how my record would look like. Maybe such would not even be in the record. I don't know.

      Sure. Hard for me to say what impact there would be until we have an idea of what is on the record. Even then, it's a subjective test, so there's no guarantees. Feel free to reach out when/if you're thinking of applying for your visa and I'm happy to point in the right direction.

      @@yapatree9495 Thank you for responding.. I did some research and found out, that in Sweden, anything one has been under investigation on but has not reached, court and a conviction is not in ones criminal record. We go by the innocent untill proven guilty, not guilty until proven innocent so my record should be absolutly clear.
      Thank you for taking your time. I will look you up when it is time for me to make my move.

      @@magnusb6311 if you were not convicted of a crime it will not be listed on your criminal record.
      This is the same for US and Canada.

    Flights back and forth to the US and Canada can be very arduous getting to Cuenca, probably setting up a major obstacle to older people desirous of becoming snowbirds or expats.

    • @yapatree9495
      @yapatree9495  Рік тому

      I'm in two minds about this. The capitalist in me wants better air connections as this will increase tourist & expat activity a lot. This runs at odds with the traditionalist in me that doesn't want to see Cuenca end up like Costa Rica with locals priced out of the market. It's a fine balance.

      @@yapatree9495 I guess you're right again. I can't disagree here either. Although Costa Rica is fine as a soft landing for foreigners, especially probably older people who would like to retain as much familiarity as possible.
