A friend was being sort of a jerk when I talked a little bit about the kubaton to a small group of five on a hike. The kubaton was caught underneath my pack (I was with FRIENDS!) and he decided to grab my forearm and twist while I struggled with the keychain trapped under the belt. Then he mocked me while I struggled to get in position to use it, and grabbed at my hand to take it from me. I was able to twist it away from him , wrap it behind his ulna at the wrist and he dropped my arm instantly. Then I stepped forward in a mock stab to his shoulder and he backed away about three feet. I then turned to his buddy who thought mocking women's self defense all very funny, but wiped the grin off his face and jumped back when I took just a half step in his direction.
The point of the story is you can use the kubaton BADLY and still get the job done.

I don't think he is a good friend. For a fact I think he is a bully.

Seriously. Any guy who would make fun of any type of self defense a woman would choose to have in her arsenal is not worth spit.

I appreciate you so much for this. I'm about to start my first year of college and I am honestly terrified of a sketchy stranger approaching me at some point where I am left defenseless. This video helps so much!!!

Yea its a very awesome weapon. And I have just made a video on how to make a kubaton with shaving razor. Anyone who wants to make it go and watch it. Its the easiest way to make yet effective😊😊 and personally I saved a life with my handmade kubaton once.

@@stephen8433 once I saw a stray puppy badly tied up with ropes his legs were tied up and he couldn't move. I couldn't find anything to cut the rope, but I had a kubaton and I pushed it through the ropes and tear the rope string by string and thats how it was useful in my case. Thankfully I was carrying it that day else I couldn't have saved the pup.

P=F/A la presion aumenta ya que la punta de kubotan su area es menor en comparacion a la otra arma, por lo tanto punzar con el kubotan seria mas doloroso que con la otra arma

No woman can defeat a man without a weapon. Hm, really? I can think of several female fighters that would knock the shit out of this guy, even if he had his little stick with him. If you hit me as hard as you can in the shoulder, I'm not going to go on the ground.

Both of you are holding fake imitations of a real Kubotan. The real Kubotan is patented and trademarked by the inventor Tak Kubota (that's why it's called a Kubotan), completely plastic, not metal or metal with tapered ends.
