Now it’s close to 40+ trillions & 80%+ is a gift to US from Republican presidents. While passing budgets,republican legislators always pressured democratic presidents to slash spending for needy Americans for balancing the increase in expenses but under their presidential terms,they never cared for such things & let them go beyond their means of federal income resources including slashing the taxe rates both @ corporate and individual levels.
