I don't know if it was intentional, but I LOVE that during the Roll for Sandwich bit, the vertical video ends and disappears, and suddenly there's James standing there smirking, holding the sandwich.
I need more Jacob in my daily life. Every sentence out of that man’s mouth is pure gold and his personality is so funny. I love him and hope to see him in more stuff in the future
"We roll up our sleeves and plan The Most Ambitious Crossover Ever" *Jacob puts a hand to the glass of the door Me: wait, they're making a crossover with Wrath of Khan??
Stable Diffusion Confusion could definitely come back. Maybe with categories. Like "which magic card" or "which Star Trek episode title". Maybe even a this or that with images instead of titles
Would make a great "This or That" variant where you have to guess whether something is AI generated or not. Album cover is probably the most obvious example, but I bet you could get some really interesting ones.
I really hope that we get another edition of “Most Ambitious Crossover Ever” or a segment with the same general mechanics, it’s an inspired improv concept.
When the parrot was on screen during Stable Diffusion Confusion I guessed Cowboy Bebop, because “Green Bird” is the song that plays at the end of the series. When the other two images came up I thought they represented Spike falling and the Syndicate elders, and I got so excited.
I stock shelves at a grocery store and usually work the aisle that has corned beef hash on it, and now I hear "Oh you got corned beef hAaAaash" in my head every time I go to put up some cans of it
The Crossover bit is also a great way to develop a TTRPG/D&D campaign, particularly if there's an MtG set or two with a theme you like (or if your playgroup wants to fight through a horde of pokemon to get to the climatic battle against a pile of WWE wrestlers and Star Trek characters)
I'm so mad at James for buying corned beef hash and what appears to be raw red bell pepper instead of the deli corned beef and actual marinated red peppers.
I love that I could tell where that clip was going the moment I saw it. Ben (playing Dead by Daylight); "...and I'm gonna go to break" (Clicks on Sadako) Me; "Wait, Ben, I wouldn't do that, Sadako..." Ben; "If you hear any weird noises it's just AAHH!" Me; "Does... That..." (For those who don't know, while idling on the main menu in Dead by Daylight with Sadako from The Ring selected, she will randomly jumpscare you.)
As far as I understand, this is a remnant from a bit of their (at time of writing) last Commodore Hustle, before they had to stop filming those due to Covid. It seems to have been hanging around all this time.
A long time ago, LRR made a video called "Nunchuck Jousting" as a tie in to their CHustle episode "Viral". Long story short, it went viral and appeared on the Tonight Show.
It occasionally shows up in "epic fail" compilations. It is funny that a video created to look like the kind of video that might go viral went viral. Most everyone using that video, including the Tonight Show IIRC, missed the fact that it was entirely scripted. Within the fictional world of Commodore Hustle, Graham was trying to make a video of himself doing something cool with nunchucks and accidentally got footage of him hitting himself in the crotch and then stumbling backwards onto a skateboard, which of course gets more views than anything he ever made on purpose.
The thing I learned about this is that Graham and James apparently have never had a deli sliced roast beef sandwich? Or they've never had corn beef hash, before. I'm not sure which I would find more strange of those two facts. Either that or James was just being maliciously compliant when getting the shopping list for this episode lol
Why limit yourself to birds? Kippi Ben Kippod of Rechov Sumsum, with his protective spines and extreme speed that all hedgehogs have(might need to paint him blue for it to kick in, more research is needed) would be an ideal candidate.
All subjects were independent and had to be guessed from just their set of three AI pictures; we figured during planning that if there was a common theme it would be too easy to guess "around" the pictures!
Was not a fan of the AI bit; maybe restrict the prompts to a specific theme if you ever decide to bring it back. LOVED Rolling for Sandwich and any time you guys bring Jacob on.
I don't know if it was intentional, but I LOVE that during the Roll for Sandwich bit, the vertical video ends and disappears, and suddenly there's James standing there smirking, holding the sandwich.
And at 1:12:34 he stands menacingly, holding a knife
I really loved James playing Lurch and being vaguely menacing even before the knife came out.
The Roll for Sandwich bit was fantastic. Never heard of the creator before but now I need to watch all of his stuff.
Graham starts channeling Dave's Spokesman for a second at 1:05:04 when he says "such as Dungeons & Dragons and food".
Really glad they got in contact with Jake and gave him due credit! Loved the collab and seeing you eat the sandwiches!
Jacob's reaction to Cori getting her water! Ah... that is going to sustain me for a bit.
I love Ian's delivery here, like Rod Sterling meets Kermit...fits perfectly. :)
See, I was getting more Carl Sagan.
@@brendaneichler5480 I was getting "attempt at carl sagan" that definitely sounds more like "60 minutes" plus kermit
@@brendaneichler5480 When you combine Rod Sterling and Kermit the frog, you get Carl Sagan. Known fact.
@@daverapp Ah, I should have looked deeper into the alchemy. My bad.
It took me a solid minute to realize that wasn't Ian's normal voice tbh, the delivery was so solid 😂😁
The crossover is such a great way to use the billions of rando CCGs LRR has accrued over the years. Just peak "Yes And"-ing
Especially at 44:50. You couldn't faze Ian when he's improving with anything, I'd reckon.
I find it funnier if you play it at 1.25x speed. Sells better the notion that all these characters are on the cocaine.
@@gnyrinn The Burma shave? Horsey Party Time?
You Guys Should do Roll For Sandwich For Desert Bus
Seconded!!
you missed the opportunity to call it "roll for sandwich for desert bus for hope"
WARNING: have your fridge properly stocked with assorted sandwich stuff before watching this video.
I think I am going to make sandwiches this way going forward. Might stick with d4s for every list though; I have a small household.
What?!? Adventures in Aardia? Localized on my LRR stream? Sweet!
I can't wait for the loadingtime of the shopping for Roll For Sandwich
Can a sandwich tell the future?
No
A sandwich *creates* the future
James appearing behind the stage curtain of the video-in-video is a great touch.
Love the Roll For Sandwich plan ~
For the first bit of the cold open, I was convinced the joke was going to be "Big Bird is a sleeper agent who sabotaged the Challenger"
I need more Jacob in my daily life. Every sentence out of that man’s mouth is pure gold and his personality is so funny. I love him and hope to see him in more stuff in the future
He does a lot of streaming at Ysbryd Games on Twitch, and they have a vod channel on youtube. ❤️
I was actually able to guess correctly for some of the Stable Diffusion prompts. The Aladdin one I got on the first picture.
I only got Minecraft, but I got it on the second image.
That middle section was the weirdest episode of crack-a-pack I've seen
The crossover skit was amazing.
Indeed.
Ceiling egg vibrating like the glass of water in Jurassic Park is giving me unexplainable Heebie Jeebies.
Aaand now I'm subscribed to Adventures in Aardia AND hungry.
It wasn't responding to danger. Did nothing when Bartleby was around.
@@natetwehues2428 it knows its more powerful than bartleby
blessed be every time LRR references tool-assisted speedrunning 💙
Ceiling egg obeys no laws, not even the law of gravity.
I LOVE ROLL FOR SANDWICH!!!
Ah, good to see Ian go full Kermit Sagan once again.
I'd love to see more rolls for sandwich, this was a great segment.
Tonight’s Loading Ready Live was once again Chefs kiss golden #praisejames
Ty Paul for reminding me of the legend that is the triple fried egg, chilli, chutney sandwich 🥪

Oooooo, I love the Star Trek episode title idea.

1:28:12 for dying-walrus-Graham, and 1:30:00 for another reason I adore Jacob's humour XD
The saltiest thing in the sadwhich skit was Cori and the water. 😆
Gravy covered brownie... or where I got the habit of keeping my different foods from touching.
The music during ceiling egg sounds like a chill jazz version of tifa’s theme
Jacob is a delight and roll for sandwich was great

23:21 Library of Babel was my first thought, too, Cam. 😅
Graham's character reminds me so much of Jerry from Penny Arcade.
The fact that Graham doesn't cut sandwiches into triangles is sending me every time
I want to try Ian's sandwich, sounds good! I wonder what I could modify to suit my taste buds while still keeping the heart of the sandwich.
it's the most wonderful time of the month!
Cori ostentatiously drinking water next to Jacob is a mood.

It wasn't hash it was just canned Corned Beef. Comes in the rectangular car and you open with a key.
What, you expected him to buy something potentially TASTY?!
the second i saw the cat after the doll i knew immediately what it was and the third image just confirmed it!
I missed Ceiling Egg! I also missed feeling Greg
I miss Jim Henson. A. Lot. Still to this day. He would have loved Dark Crystal Age of Resistance

Oh my god I was not expecting Deep Roy to show up. That's a thing.
Did The Tonight Show use one of their clips? Is that the reason for that remark?
