- @SkidKids recap a recent trip to Hawaii and bring you the best of the sessions they had. Blair and friends roam around the island of Oahu and take you to some of their favorite waves to Surf and Skim. Max Bourne and the @surfcooker1766 join in on the shorebreak skim and surf sessions.

where in Hawaii was this taken?? i surfed (in the early 70's) Makapoo, Sandy's, Bellows , Kailua and at north point off kanehoe marine base.

Man, nice to see my old stomping grounds. Skimmed Sandy's for years in the late 80s and early 90s and still have my old Sandy Beach Skimboard to remind me of those days.always fun. Need to try Yokohama's in the west side if you haven't already.

We have a beach here in Puerto Rico called Inches Beach because the coral is inches under the water and people think a lot of us locals are crazy too for riding here lol You'd be right at home haha

First spot is China Wall (with all the rock ledges) and the second spot looks like Sandy Beach just east of Koko Head.

There's a place in Australia where you take off at the entrance to a cave and ride inside the cave then exit out another entrance.

Back in the day we surfed this spot all the time, my buddy lived about 5 mins away.
One day over here a guy was sponging and bit it into the wall. Apparently uy friend saved him. I think he told me he had gotten brain damage from the accident.
The Sandys footage always brings me back chilling in mydatsun pickup truck. That was over 30 years ago lol.

Is this the NORTH SHORE,where the WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS are held every year because I am from OAHU.Maybe this is WAIKIKI, where the swells are smaller. I know the difference. Oahu has the bigger swells.The CHAMPIONSHIPS are always held in the winter, with the best surfers come,and I am not talking about. CALIFORNIA or AUSTRALIA. The only other place is PERU.Hugh waves. And you better know how to swim, because the under tow will get you.

@J C atleast make friends that are born and raised and no just call em weird since you don't know where you are. Mr longboard you right weird means supernatural and uncanny so a spot outside shorebreaks or Waikiki that's beyond your natural comfort. Sandy’s, Makapuu and portlock my stomping grounds. China walls gets hella scary on a strong south west wrap makes the wave mangle angle, cheese grater against the rocks.
