It's sad that this mod has to be postponed so many times over trivial reasons, and I was shocked to hear that this whole mod is going to be changed and it's going to be changed songs, but I hope this mod is going to be good.
This mod was in “development” since the tricky mod *demo* came out. After releasing teasers for the lullaby mod, Banbuds then released that update about convict and said that he had to redo all the sprites because the art was outdated. But because of this, he later began to get emotionally exhausted and didn’t have any motivation to continue on with the sprites (keep in mind he’s only done the down, right, and idle animation and had to do the rest of phase 2 and 3 sprites.. So he gave the mod to jigoku and is so far being steadily made, remaking the sprites, background, and even songs, as well as hiring some new composers, artists/animators for the mod to. So yeah, so far the progress for convict seems very promising, and I hope it would be worth the wait (A lil off topic, but it’s possible the hypno’s lullaby update would come out sometime next month)
new update on the whole situation regarding nimbus cumulus, i'll quote what they said on a recent video they have uploaded: "Forgot to take my painkillers for like two days, I felt like shit and eventually fucking fell apart and pushed everyone away from me. That was arranged and I apologized to everyone, the second song for Convict was redone by me from scratch to be easier to chart. Not just that, but it's quite literally the same as before, but on tempo so you won't be seeing many differences aside from probably different mixing and a different set of vocal samples for Convict."
Stress can sure be a cruel mistress. Like I said in the pinned comment, the information about nimbus parting was vague and didn’t know what happened, but Jigoku (main artist and director for convict) said in a deleted tweet that nimbus just snapped or something. I do hope he’s doing better now, so far it seems like it
honestly all the designs i've seen for him look good, i'd like to see a video that covers all of them, but the one shown in this video is probably my favorite one, though all it is, is a png of the idle, i like the art style
BALLIN REVIEW: 9.9/10. It's so fucking good, but there's something I need to address. CONVICT's vocals sound so much like DD's, and that's a 0.1 point reduction in my books.

I asked Jigoku if senseless rumble was still a thing, and he told me no.
Well, resurgence features the fake Boyfriend, since daddy dearest and BF were voiced by the same person, it makes sense that the low tune BF has a DD voice
In this song, convict shapeshifted into bf, and the vocals is basically a very pitched down version of bf’s vocals, in senseless rumble he’s in his true form, which is also apparently his voice, along with how he laughs
Really sucks that Nimbus’s music won’t be in the final mod. I feel like the new Manipulator didn’t hold a candle to this version. I mean I guess it’s alright but still. But something the new version of Manipulator will never have is that DnB(?) part in the instrumental in this version. It’s peak and can’t be topped
fr the old one is much better cause it captures convict so well like just by this song you already know what type of char convict is the intimidating mysteriou villain ig the only one thing better is convict bf voice in the new one

The original composer for the convict mod (nimbus) left, he’s the person who made the songs you heard where going to be in the convict mod, so no, it most likely won’t be used for the mod when it comes out, because two new composers have been hired to make new music for the mod since nimbus ripped his work from the mod
